I had a terrible experience with franklins
I had a terrible experience with franklins. Their communication is awful and continuously had to chase them.
Most of the time my solicitor ‘wasn’t available’
When it came to the deposits being transferred for my home they withheld over 2k of my partners money and no communication came from them. They blamed the bank, the bank stated they hadn’t been contacted to even give the money back.
8 weeks Withought the money and still yet to receive it.
Awful service I do not recommend. Made our house move 10x more stressful.

I used the Northampton branch of…
I used the Northampton branch of Franklins solicitors some time ago, a Mr Sha l believe his name is.
The man is a complete joke. I asked him to send a letter to someone that owed me money. After paying one thousand four hundred pounds up from he finally sent the letter.
I'm not sure what she said to Mr Sha but she managed to scare Sha into dumping his own client (ie me) and sided with her. I demanded all my money back. Sha obviously knew he was in the wrong because he gave me the full amount back. I wouldn't go near these people, they're a waste of space. On reading your reply. I said l believe his name was Mr Sha, l didn't say it was. But it was definitely Franklins Solicitors and it was definitely Northampton branch. Its a name similar to Sha. I noticed you don't offer any alternative names, deny l was a client or deny the transaction even took place. If you were certain it wasn't Franklins, you would have said the rest was incorrect

Do not!
Weeks of no communication and risking the whole sale.
Had to call every day for a week to chase and then had to speak to random senior partners before emails were responded to, as well as jeopardising the entire venture.
The most stressful part of buying a house, by far, was dealing with Franklins.
