Forage Box Arvostelua 

Alex was a superb guide and his knowledge and passion for local wild food was really uplifting. Even in the heat, we saw and tasted many wild foods as we made our way through the trees.
The light snack we'd been expecting turned into more of a tasting menu: Alex is a chef and, boy, did it show! Of all the amazing food we tried (he'd prepared some with previously foraged ingredients) the tartlet filled with wild garlic pesto and redcurrants in a honey/wood avens syrup may have been my favourite, but it was so hard to choose, I may have to book another workshop!

Really enjoyable walk led by Joel. They are a fountain of knowledge re plants, their biology, family relations and uses. We ate like royalty on quiche and chocolates made with foraged ingredients.
There were a few repeat attendees at his walk and I will def be doing the same when I get chance. 5*

The walk was the perfect mix of relaxed but also space to be enthusiastic and excited about all the plants! I loved the clear passion of Genevieve about the topic of foraging and felt they really enjoyed sharing all the info with us. It felt like a good amount of information, enough to come away feeling like we’d learnt a lot but not too much that it felt overwhelming. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic afternoon foraging and nibbling in Graves Park Sheffield. Joel was our guide and we cannot praise him highly enough. The knowledge and experience he has about foraging is second to none and he imparted this in a fun, enjoyable and entertaining way.
We learned so much and although we've forgotten a lot of it, we took away loads of useful information on foraging and making things to eat.
The stuff we sampled on the walk was tasty and the buns and drink he'd made beforehand and gave to us at the end were delicious. Joel remains contactable afterwards to seek advice and we highly recommend him. Makes an excellent gift for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Jacqui and Rob Cottom

What a fantastic afternoon! My husband's birthday treat was 3 hrs of forage & Nibble with the extremely knowledgeable and entertaining Joel. We loved every minute and can't stop looking and identifying hedgerow weeds & food now!
Ive even started making Walnut Nocino !
We originally booked for a different location and the company happily moved it to a closer venue for us without any problems.
Id love to book another for my grandaughters when they're a bit older, its great for all ages (except very young with short attention spans!)

Had a great day at the coastal forage and cook with Jim - which we booked on my birthday. Arnside beach is a beautiful, peaceful setting and it was just what I needed as a bit of outdoor therapy. We were a bit late due to traffic and panicking wed be left behind but Jim was very good and had stalled to let us join. I was very impressed by his level of knowledge not only of foraging but how to make amazing flavour combinations with the produce. I loved having all of the little extras hed made like kimchi as part of the meal and what we made was delicious. I would happily buy the kimchin or love to do a course on how to make stuff like that.

Would definitely recommend and will be looking at other events in the future.

We absolutely loved our forage and nibble near Glencoe in Leeds. Super informative and engaging guide - so many items that we feel confident going out and picking ourselves. Looking forward to booking again for next season.

We had an absolutely fantastic course with Rachel in Frodsham. Really interesting, generous with her answers to our questions, and had brought things that she had made at home along for us to try. We definitly went away with things we want to try and a lot of excitement for our foraging in the future.

ForageBox themsleves were also amazing - I bought a voucher for a birthday gift and struggled to get it to work, and Gavin was so helpful with prompt replies and helping me to book on - really fantastic customer service and an amazing experience.

We really enjoyed our first ever forage walk yesterday lead by Hollie. She was so knowledgeable and passionate and brought freshly made snacks which were delicious! We would highly recommend for anyone interested. Thank you very much

We had a great time with Lewis as our guide in Derbyshire, finding things to try in hedgerows and fields and chatting along the way about what to look out for. We learned a lot - more than we thought we would actually - and enjoyed a lovely pizza and cake afterwards in their bushcraft haven they've created. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone interested as it was a great trip out, very interesting and very relaxing too.

This was a really enjoyable course, and Emily was very knowledgeable and friendly.

This was a really interesting experience. Looking at common hedgerow plants in a totally different way. I never knew there was so much that was edible. I would not say I found everything I tried particularly tasty but it was fun finding out. Jim made the whole experience very entertaining and the tasting at the end was very enjoyable. Overall a great way to spend time doing something new.

Brilliant experience with our Tutor Jim. inspiring and surprising how many things we could eat on the short walk. It left me wanting more.

We’ve just had the most amazing experience today with Alex. From walking around trying each plant to Alex’s knowledge to the range of food offered and tried in the last hour. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone with any interest in the world around us. Amazing day - thank you so much!

Our host/guide Alex was incredibly knowledgeable, took us through various wild plants, talked through differentiation, culinary uses/ideas. Gave us opportunities to taste, collect and engage with the foraging.

The meal was delightful, creative, surprising and delicious. Well done Alex!

Did a ‘forage & nibble’ workshop near Sheffield and loved it. Our guide Joel was super knowledgeable and friendly, the workshop was relaxed and he adapted to the needs of the group and able to answer questions and give recipe ideas. I wasn’t totally new to foraging but have learnt so much more and it’s a great way to connect with nature. Would definitely recommend it.

Our lead, Joel, was passionate, enthusiastic and full of knowledge. The session gave me so much confidence to add wild food to my cooking and a thirst to know more. A great way to connect back to the land and our environment.

Joel was an excellent guide. He was so knowledgeable on not only the plants that were edible to forage but also the history associated with eating wild foraged foods. I suffer severely with hayfever and will be looking into natural remedies for that and colds and anything else! I would definitely recommend the forage & nibble.

Our foraging expert, Joel, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things plant! It was impossible not to enjoy learning about the plants we found and tasted. It's really opened my eyes to what is available under our feet and above our heads in the trees. Highly recommend the workshops.

Hollie led an exceptional experience yesterday and I’m recommending it already to all my friends! My friend and I learned so much and even today I found myself looking differently at my garden. I even discovered a patch of sticky weed that is now soaking in some water overnight for a refreshing drink tomorrow!
