I had an initial enquiry about fogstar batteries being compatible with the invter i already had installed.

Mark Cheeseman answered all my questions without hesitation and was quick to reply.

I recently had a Fogstar 230Ah battery fitted to our new campervan. The installer sadly did not take a note of the PIN number before installing the battery so that we could not use the Fogstar App. I got in contact with the Fogstar help desk and they were fantastic. They tried a number of ways of accessing the battery. They even got in contact with the Chinese manufacturer to try to get the PIN. Sadly none of this worked and finally I had to remove the passenger seat to read the PIN from the top of the battery. The app now works and I am very happy with the app. To be clear, it wasn’t Fogstar causing the problem. It was the company who supplied the van. I have made my feelings known to that company. However, as they always say, you only know how good a company is when you have a problem and Fogstar get 10 out of 10.

Always delighted by this company and the people who work there (Mark and Jade have been my recent points of contact). I've been to collect batteries from them and they have been super-friendly, and customer support is speedy and very helpful. The batteries (four Drift Pro 2s and one Drift Pro) have been working impeccably for months. Seems like I've written two reviews for these folk now. Which points more to how pleased I am with the system. Today (via customer support) I got the batteries speaking to the Victron system, for the first time since building three systems. Embarassing, because I was using a crap cable and didn't realise that they weren't talking to the system - because Victron do provide a lot of data. Anyway, now looking contentedly at the Victron system Lynx Shunt somewhat tallying with the Fogstar BMS. "Somewhat" is to be expected, because the shunt, in its design, will always be more accurate than the BMS. But the BMS gives battery balancing information and temperatures (in the details section of the console) so all valuable data.

Bluetooth module fixed under warranty. A few steps to try myself first to see if I could bring it back online then smoothly handled as a repair. True to their word with the warranty.

Fabulous customer service! I had an issue with checkout so sent over an email to support not expecting a quick response but not only did I get a quick response, I got a seamless solution from Lydia immediately.

I was debating for ages where to purchase this item from because you never quite know how the service will be when things go wrong but I’m even more confident in my choice after interacting with Lydia! 10/10 recommend

Preordered a 48.3kWh battery stack. When placing the order it clearly said and stated on the website - THIS IS A PRE ORDER ITEM. REMAINING BALANCE TO BE CHARGED ONCE A DELIVERY DATE IS CONFIRMED. I requested a delivery date confirmation after being asked to pay the remaining balance, and was told the order was due into the warehouse at some point and when it did the delivery process would start. I said those were not the terms on the order, or stated on the website. And then i received the same response back and suddenly the order was just cancelled!

Fogstar are a great company to deal with, I have bought several large solar batteries from them now and any questions or issues they have been quick to respond each time. Great service.

I have 3x new 314ah Drift ECO batteries in my motorhome as I bought 2 a couple of months ago and was gifted one who bought at the same time but didn't use it. They are a great product but one battery was showing the wrong capacity in the Fogstar Drift app. Spoke to Mark at Fogstar support and he pointed my to the new app and everything is fine. Support were incredibly fast at responding and I am 100% happy.
I can now run my electric BBQ, induction hob and Air Conditioner when needed without electric hook up.

I commissioned a Full Off Grid Lithium setup on my brand new camper van. The installer (Fogstar dealer) suggested a package which included the Fogstar Drift 300 gen 2. The components were ordered in January 26th. All Victron elements arrived within days the battery a week later. The installer arrived to carry out the full install on February 18th 2026. He informed me that the battery was defective and therefore he was unable to complete installation. He contacted Fogstar who agreed with his diagnosis re battery. He ordered a replacement (a Fogstar Drift300 gen 2) whilst in my presence. We are now in June and to date I do not have a firm supply date. The company is full of apologies, excuses, platitudes but the reality is they are taking money for goods they cannot supply in a timely fashion.

So far not at all impressed. But this review is subject to change as things go along...
I'm a professional off-grid solar installer and switched to Fogstar just 5 months ago.
Of the 4 installations I've done with Fogstar Lifepo4 batteries of various sizes/types I've had:
First: arrived with no battery cables at all, despite being advertised as coming with them.
Second: frequent over-voltage errors and cut-outs, despite setting it up exactly how Fogstar support instructed.
Third: Working ok, but the cells are still very unbalanced even after 2 weeks, they just don't seem to balance.
Fourth: Fogstar sent completely the wrong type of cables so couldn't even do the installation. It came with Amphenol connectors, but the batteries have spade lug connectors.
Just seems to be an endless stream of problems so far. Let's hope they manage to get their act together somehow.

Brought a couple of batteries non direct but had issues with set up, contacted them via the link online and were able to help resolve the issue via email. Really helpful and the batteries are great.

Having had a Fogstar Drift 460Ah Gen 1 in our new motorhome for the last 6 months, I was gutted when we were told by a professional that the battery had failed after a recent power issue.

I got in touch with Fogstar support and spoke with Mark. He helped me check the setup until we found the real culprit: a loose connection on the negative bus bar.

It's rare to get this level of support these days so thanks Mark!

I install these batteries professionally and can't rate them enough. Excellent quality and constantly improving the connectivity and safety. The tech support is excellent, the sales team are always super helpful too. Only complaint is occasional delays in delivery and wanting more stock!

I swapped 4 x Lead acid for 2 x 12V/230Ah Drift batteries in a small electric boat. My range has increased from 15 to 35miles, my weight has reduced by 100kg. Great batteries, but what sets Fogstar apart from the online alternatives is the excellent Customer service. They were helpful with the initial installation (running at 24V, so I needed a balancer between the 2 batteries), and recently I needed some battery safety documentation for Marina storage, which I received within a few hours.
