Viridian Apartments Arvostelua 

I have stayed at Abbott House four times. The property has a great location. I feel secure there when traveling alone. The apartments are roomy, clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and there are ample towels. The main reason I return however is because their customer service is second to none. Viridian staff are not on site, but can be contacted 24/7. They always respond promptly and any issue/request I have is dealt with immediately.

I was somewhat disappointed in this stay.
1 - We were on the 3rd level with a steep and narrow set of stairs leading up. No where on your website did it say there was no lift. Carrying bags up was a real struggle
2 - We stayed for 6 nights. There was a note saying housekeeping would attend only after 7 nights. Thats 6 nights without changing towels, no toilet paper top up, coffee refills etc. I change my towels at home more regularly that every 7 days!
3 - No air conditioning, no fans. We were there over summer, media reporting that it was like a heatwave. The top floor just made it worse, laying their of an evening sweating in bed trying to get to sleep.
4 - Finally, the bathroom. Just make sure whoever you are travelling with, you are comfortable with. I could not sit on the toilet and close the door. To be able to close the door I had to turn a little sideways so the sliding door could close in from of me. Shower was also exceptionally small.
Not so much a complaint, but the ceilings in the apartment were very low. Im not a tall person (Approx 5"9') and I couldn't take my shirt off without hitting the ceiling. I suppose more a warning for anyone 6" and over.
Having paid just over $2000 (Aust), i expected a little better than this

Stayed Flat 3, 33 Coptic Street, London, WC1A 1NP, Bloomsbury area. Awful experience. Tiny shabby apartment. Unsuitable for two people. Poor quality 3/4 bed squashed against wall with no headboard. Sticky floor. No kitchen, just fridge and microwave and sink against a wall. Tiny desk area for table. Bathroom felt like a cupboard. Window right on to street level and doesn’t open. Room beside the main front door and noisy with people coming and going. The experience of being in the room was awful. We moved to a decent hotel at 10 pm the night we arrived. The website gives a false impression of apartments. Do not stay here.

Everything was absolutely perfect and as displayed on the website. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it. The service provided via telephone was also super efficient and kind whenever needed.

Fantastic stay in a quiet apartment near to Wembley Stadium. Customer service was fantastic and changed us to this place after booking.com did not make it clear that our original booking was a shared apartment. The staff on the phone were extremely helpful and sorted things out with no fuss at all. I would highly recommend them.

It was a very lovely apartment. Very clean and spacious. A bit warm as no AC but there was a fan. Quiet and safe area. It is close to Wembley stadium and the underground station.

The apartment we stayed in (Flat 10) is incredible. Very spacious, well-maintained, clean, and well-equipped. It has lots of natural light and is really comfortable. It truly makes us feel at home.

Absolutely a disgrace in the middle of the night me and my partner was woken up to a woman screaming and I have to say this was the most terrifying scream someone could ever hear. It sounded like she was being abused beaten etc

She was banging on our door hitting the door etc

Just imagine a horror movie x10
Mr and my partner was petrified we called the police which came pretty much straight away and they found the woman outside our room fully naked and found out she was doing prostitution services next door and had been held hostage by knife point and was beaten and robbed, the room was literally 30cm away from the room we were staying.
This was the most traumatic thing j have ever witnessed and I would promise people not to Stay here
We left at 4am after the police spoke to us ad we felt so unsafe in this apartment
Since we got back we have looked on booking.com and found there is reviews hidden claiming this is a regular thing and drug dealers tend to come in and out of the property.
I have since contacted the hotel as I did on the way home and they have offered me a £50 Amazon voucher as a gesture of good will this is an absolute insult due to me spending £250 to stay here.
This apartment has many people walking in and out of the building at all times.
There is no reception desk or security which they have had in the past but found it to be a waste of resources

I have had many other issues such as not being able to get into the property due to incorrect codes, not having air con and the room being to hot, the lock not always locking, but all these seem so little compared to the incident that happened and has now traumatised me to ever stay in London again.

Please please never stay here it’s dangerous and you’re putting your loved ones at risk!

Easy to access building and apartments look exactly as per website - modern, well equipped and comfortable.

Apartment was bright and quiet, close to shops and parks, buses and train station.

Overall very nice place. Very clean, quiet yet good location. Customer service replied email and phone call quite promptly. However, the staff wasn’t really helpful. I told her that the WiFi was not working. She advised me to switch the router off and on again and thus I asked her where the router is located. She said she didn’t know. I emailed with this enquiry and the reply wasn’t helpful as well. At the end, we weren’t able to connect the house WiFi for the entire stay which is very disappointing.

Facility is very clean and hygienic. Location is very good - proximity to market. Only one concern - lift was not functioning for 2 days and we had to manually drag our luggage on the last day..

The admin staff are lovely and accommodating and the location of the flat is great. This is my third year booking and each experience has been good although this last one wasn't as great. First I didn't get the flat on Chiltern that I'd booked because of damage by tenants (absolutely not the fault of Viridian). I was down the street at Crawford. Not a big deal but the flat was really in need of some updates, for example, one whole strip of wallpaper was missing in the bedroom and there were water stains on the ones that were still up. Generally, thought perhaps the flat was vacant because it had been slated for an update and then they had to move me there because of the damage at Chiltern Street. Also had a terrible night with smoke alarms going off and no one else in the building doing anything about it. I ended up across the street at the Thai restaurant so I could use their phone (the 24/7 800 number doesn't work on Australian mobiles) and then sat outside in the cold for an hour or so waiting for the person to come and shut the alarm off - could not stay in the unit with the noise. Turned out to be some numpties in one unit who burned toast so badly the alarms went crazy and they opted to stay in their unit (despite me knocking on the door and then standing outside their door on the phone trying to turn the alarm down). And next day I get a message reminding ME to ventilate the unit and not mess with smoke alarms (initially I'd thought it was the battery which had been the case the year before)- not a thank you for running around for the better part of 2.5 hours to get hold of someone to come and manage it. Not a big deal in the scheme of things but added to general annoyance that people came into the unit when I wasn't there - apart from the expected Friday cleaning - and that I had someone outside the door at 8am on his hands and knees vacuuming on the one morning I didn't have appointments and had a chance to sleep in. All that said, I like this company's responsiveness and the flat location can't be beat.

I checked into my flat and the glass door to the balcony was off its track. Dealing with the customer service was a nightmare. They wanted me to sleep in the flat with a broken door that opened up to a common balcony, because 7PM on a weekday was just too late for someone to come and fix it. I sent them photos and a video of what the problem was, and they said they would move me into another flat. That one had people in it. When I told them, they said, "were they in it, or was it just not cleaned." !!!! then I got moved to a third flat and it did not have a balcony nor a window that opened. The next day they sent me a message saying the broken door was "user error" and literally sent me a video about how to open a door. They love to argue! It also took them multiple days to fix my friend's air con in her flat, after arguing with her initially that there was no air con (it's a point they brag about on their website as well as IN FRONT OF HER FACE IN THE FLAT.)

The flat is nice if it's working and the cleaning staff are nice, but the company is HORRIBLE.

Absolutely dog poo. The management team are utterly useless, condescending, careless and thieves. They will take your money politely and quickly but will disregard any issues and problems. They will then pass the book to each other or give you then run around. Stay well clear from them.

Great location, beautiful apartment with everything you'd need, concierge is wonderful and always ready to help. If you're staying in Mayfair, 25 Gilbert Street is the perfect spot for you.

I loved the area of the apartment. The showers are a bit old, small and werent very clean. No ventilation in the bathroom. The rest was ok. It does need an update.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, completely furnished with all amenities . far plusher & roomier than any hotel . this was my 4th stay with them & I doubt if I would ever stay anywhere else .
there's daily housekeeping , an elevator and everything one needs . the location is to die for - less than a 5 minute walk from Selfridges right behind grosvner square . beautiful surroundings and streets to walk , safe peaceful and well kept .
