Great design & quality with bad presentation

- good quality of craftsmanship and leather.
- speedy delivery.
- free shopping bag as gift.
minus:
- still have the smell of the leather after a week (I put it on a desk 7/24)
- the mark “10” on each side of the bag were not removed and cleaned before reaching customer, this annoyed and disappointed me. No customer would expect to receive a new bag with “stains” to be cleaned by herself, and sadly there’s five “10” marks in total.
- the bag was packed in foam sheet rather than in the cloth bag, which is so environmentally unfriendly, and this made the bag looks cheap.

Regarding the points you mentioned:
- The natural leather smell can indeed linger for a little while, especially with full-grain leathers. It fades gradually, and letting the bag air out is exactly the right thing to do.
- For the “10” production marks, we’re truly sorry. These marks come from the cutting process, but of course they should always be fully removed before leaving the workshop. We completely understand your disappointment, and we’ll make sure this does not happen again in future productions.
- Regarding the packaging, thank you for highlighting this. The foam we use is necessary to protect the bag from humidity and impact during transport, and it helps ensure it arrives in perfect condition. It is also 100% recyclable.

The bag is cute but the strap is a little short and the bag is smaller than I expected. It also smelled really bad when I got it and I had to air it out to get most of the smell out.

Loved our experience at Fleuron. We purchased two bags, and upon reconsideration I wanted to exchange my bag for the same one in a different colour.
