Easy online booking for MOT, swift drop off and vehicle tested and ready for me in quick time. Was phoned to give me update and to say vehicle was ready for collection. Friendly staff on the desk dealing with customers.

I have had my MOT done with Falmers, Neilston Road for 4 years now.
Their advise is sound and there is no 'sales' pitch. I feel that they keep my car in good working order and keep me safe on the road.

Poor customer service
Called on Saturday to enquire about wheel alignment cost for my son's car at the Maidencraig branch in Edinburgh.
Advised it was £41, which compared favourably with Kwikfit at £75.95.
They said they didn't accept bookings, but were busy on Sunday and to take it in on Monday (how could they know if they don't accept bookings?).
Went along today (Monday) at 10am. Car park full, literally no parking spaces.
Doubled parked so I could pop it to ask if they could fit it in. Chap behind the reception threw his hands up and said they were busy, it's a busy garage, first come first served, and to come back when they are less busy.
Again, if they don't accept bookings, how will they or I know when it will be less busy? Phone every day (the are terrible at answering the phone) and hope for the best?
So, I booked it in online to Kwikfit at Saughton Road for 11am and happily paid the extra for a supremely better service.
Will I go back to Farmers? Not if I have an alternative.

The guys working on Saturday(24.10.26) at the Paisley branch took me in after 3pm-online booking- and were brilliant from start to finish. Always helpful, didn’t seem like an inconvenience to them, given I showed up last minute, and couldn’t be more accommodating.
However this works, it’d be great if those three lads could be recognised for their help on that day.

What an absolute pleasure to use this company today! I was in Livingston at my daughters when my fuel filter burst! I called and was told to bring the car straight away.
