The joy with the great scale model of…
The joy with the great scale model of the Enterprise-D was destroyed, by constant delivery delays. Fanhome halted many times the dispatch of the packages due to a lack of parts and production delays. In the end it was not a constant and regular model building experience, but a very long wait for missing parts. Even if i recieved later packages, I could not move on because I was missing box no. 15. I had to wait months, while having booked the premium subscription.
On top of that, fanhome has a problem with its internatal management system. After changing my adress and saving it, it was displayed correctly, but the packages were dispatched 3 times to the old address, causing further disappointment. When trying to explain to the customer service that the problem is repeating and the problem is with the internal inventory control system, the customer support has shown not interest to investigate it internally. The kept claiming it was my fault, even while presenting them proofs (screenshots). The problem repeated itself again.

Such a disappointment
I’ve had the R2-D2 subscription for about a year. We are supposed to get monthly packages and so far I’ve only received 5. Assembly stage 10 has been on back order since February, so I have about 30 assembly stages sitting around that I can’t put together until I receive that stage.

I will never purchase another model…
I will never purchase another model from fanhome. They are not monthly subscription they will skip a few months then bill you for the missed months all in one go. They will release new builds but can’t keep up with the current ones they have. Not to mention it’s a cash grab. They pull you in initially but in the end you spend a fortune. I’m so invested at this point I can’t back out. But after this build I never wanna see another advertisement for fanhome ever again.
