I ordered a small item. A guide to Sandhyavandanam. Not only that it arrived lightning fast, but I was so impressed by the packing. The small book was wrapped in thick plastic and then placed inside a hard cardboard cover and again wrapped in the courier bag. I couldn't help notice the care and importance they have given to this small order of $17. I will certainly buy from them in future, and will recommend to everyone. They have a great range of traditional products/items. Great store, great purchase experience.

We ordered a statue for Mother's Day and it was assured we would get it by then and we paid extra for a faster delivery and it arrived on Tuesday, Mother's Day was Sunday. After trying to contact them, they have not had the decency or courtesy to return our calls nor did they refund for the extra paid on the delivery. This is unacceptable and bad business in my view

j'ai commandé un livre, payé 30 euros. Or j'ai reçu un livre d'occasion, arrivé très abimé, la tranche était complètement décollée, la couverture et la tranche salies. Or, je souhaitais l'offrir pour l'anniversaire d'un ami ce qui ne sera pas possible.
De plus, ils ne répondent pas aux mails, j'avais demandé au préalable le statut (neuf ou occasion) de ce livre. Je n'ai jamais eu de réponse et pour cause !

I have ordered a book via Exotic during March'24. Till date I have not received a single response from them regarding the shipping. Whenever I am trying to contact them they are telling it will be dispatched within 2 weeks.

The experience of my recent purchase from Exotic India has turned me into a real fan.

I was interested in purchasing a book. I wasn't sure if the book was what I was looking for, but fortunately, the website is easy to navigate and its product description was accurate and complete. Even better, the site included an extensive excerpt reproduced from the book, which was very helpful.

The book was not inexpensive and I was concerned about having it shipped from India, fearing that it might be shoddily packed and get damaged en route. There was a box for a message for shipping instructions, etc. I regretted not having noted that I would like them to pack it carefully and reinforce it with stiffeners.

When I received the package, it was packaged incredibly well and thoroughly protected, even without my giving them instructions. Bravo!

I wouldn't hesitate to make orders in the future.

I had given orders of 8 books on 16.04.2024..but I am very unfortunate that only 4 books came,,, remaining 4 books has not come till date 03.05.2024..only has shown delay expected,,there is no communication regarding this matter ,,those 4 books are expensive too,,,they not refund any amount,,,I will give no star if there is any option

The order arrived after 2 days I was surprised the books are beautiful I am so very happy. A great company with beautiful item I highly recommend them to any one

Very unhappy with the service. My book hasn't arrived even though the delivery time was stated to have the book arriving 2 weeks ago. Then they offered to.send it "again" for "free" and it has only just been sent, more than 3 weeks AFTER the original order was purchased. Only to be informed it could take up to another month to arrive. Instead of offering me a.refund, which ALL companies would have diligently done, I've been given 10 dollars to.use on their website! Pathetic really. And even more pathetic when i will.clearly not use this company again. Too many lies and no responsibility taken. Good bye money. Good bye book. I will unfortunately not use this company again. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes. They do not refund where a refund is clearly due. They make the customer suffer the consequences of their own mistakes. This is very unfair and very underhanded. What makes matters worse.is that exotic idea had this book price MUCH HIGHER than other companies! And I only went with exotic India thinking they would deliver given the almost double price tag. Nope. Not at all. Not a very reputable business at all. No integrity whatsoever.

The purchasing experience was easy, and when Fedex messed up an international delivery, the people at Exotic India were helpful and resolved the issue with Fedex, resulting in a successful delivery, and me, a satisfied customer.

Eu escolhi o envio de um produto que comprei pela DHL, opção que é dada pela própria loja, e ela não envia o produto comprado por DHL (que é um serviço de entrega rápida) mas sim por Indian post, que é um serviço de correio comum, que demora dois meses para chegar no Brasil. É um total desrespeito com o consumidor.

Bought a book from #exotic India, the web page does not claim it is a 2nd hand book but when delivered to my place, to my surprise, it looked like 2nd hand book. Look at the front cover condition.
In the past, I have bought many books from online, none of the books that I bought are all in this condition that I attached below.

exotic india stocked a rare book out of publication and had ordered it.
The courier company-delhivery- sent back the parcel without delivering/contacting. But exotic india contacted and arranged to send back through blue dart.
