I had ordered a beautiful bronze idol of Goddess Laxmi and I wanted it to be delivered before Diwali. Umeed, ensured and kept me updated in every step until the idol was delivered to me on time. The produced is good quality and authentic. I love the how beautiful the idol looks. Who am I book mrp 15 rs and exotic India charged me 99 rs why?

Thank you very much for delivering the book on time. Was also surprised to see that you had a copy of Sujata and the Wild Elephant to sell....

I placed an order on 20/09/2024 ( order number 1890968) which was confirmed and money taken out of my account. Got no update on order delivery status till the time I followed up with them on 09/10/2024 to which the response I received was regarding something that I haven’t ordered. Upon correcting them I get a response in 13/10/2024 that they don’t have what I ordered and asked me to order something more expensive which I didn’t want and I asked them to refund me my money and cancel my order on 14/10/2024. Till date even after repeated follow-ups I haven’t received any response from these people. All I get is a ticket number but no response, no refund, no product that I ordered. These guys are frauds and thieves. Buy at your own risk.

Update: after i wrote this review, i finally got their ears and attention and they have refunded me the amount and have apologized for their lack of professionalism and poor service.

Great way by which the whole systemic context heavy sales issues arise when cataloguing Indic or Indology books. To get me wrong would be to imagine, there is a peaceful existence between the Sanskrit books they sell and the rot-neck speed of business and other parties such as Chowkhambha publishers. They are sleepy, religious groups in Kashi. But these people put up with it, and what Amazon wont sell and Gitapress website will not stock is here. All the mss, palimpsests and epigraphy is open so there is no limit beyond for open research.

Received book in good condition.
The price printed on book is Rs.6/-, but you charged 85/- extra = 85+6= 91 inclusive of courier. Yet it was expensive for such small book.
Anyways I don't know what makes you to charge so high. Over priced!!!!
