Except for a few exceptions and problems if you have too many connections at once, the service runs smoothly. The retention is also good. That's how the whole thing is fun. Thank you!

Er waren wat problemen ontstaan vanwege een betaling die in eerste instantie was mislukt. De klantenservice heeft me netjes geholpen en me uitgebreid te woord gestaan. Dit is wat me vertrouwen geeft. Ik heb ook een maand extra gekregen. Top!. Dit is een voorbeeld hoe een klantenservice moet werken. Het loont, want ik ben nu een zeer tevreden klant.

I’ve been a long-term Eweka customer, but recently I discovered they’re silently filtering content and even banning accounts in ways not disclosed in their Terms of Service.

They promise “unfiltered access to Usenet” and over 6200 days retention, yet entire categories of posts (for example, those uploaded with certain software) are missing on their servers. These posts are available with other providers, so it’s clearly an internal block, not a takedown.

They also claim in their Privacy Policy that they “do not monitor which newsgroups you post to or download from,” yet filtering by upload source suggests they are inspecting traffic in some way.

Users combining multiple accounts to get normal Usenet speeds have even reported IP bans, despite nothing in the TOS forbidding it.

This feels like misleading advertising and bait-and-switch tactics. At the very least, it breaks trust with paying customers who expect full retention and transparency. If Eweka wants to run a filtered, restricted service, they should be upfront about it — not hide it behind glossy marketing promises.

Until they restore access to missing content or clearly disclose their policies, I can’t recommend them.

I’ve been a loyal Eweka customer for quite some time, but their recent pricing tactics regarding my subscription have left me feeling misled and undervalued. Without any prior notice, they raised my payment significantly, only for me to discover that the exact same service is being offered to new customers at a fraction of the cost—sometimes half or less. This kind of bait-and-switch, where loyal users are charged more while promotional rates are reserved for others, feels unethical and like a deliberate money grab. I’ve since switched to another provider who will hopefully value my business and honor fair contract terms. I won’t be renewing and strongly advise others to be on guard for these hidden price hikes.

Eweka has an unreliable service and dishonest business practices that make it impossible to recommend. The service is slow and has a poor completion rate.

Most concerningly, they raised my rate without warning and, at the same time, they are selling the same service to new customers for half the price they demanded from me. This is a complete lack of respect for their customers.

Completion is not what it used to be and they raised my price to more than triple what it had been before and I did not receive any warning.

Signed up with the understanding they have good completion but almost everything I try to download is incomplete. Even stuff that is only a few weeks old. And the service to the USA is really slow.

Vier jaar lang betaalde ik het zelfde bedrag en ineens een prijsstijging van meer dan 66%, zonder mededeling vooraf. Nog via mail contact gehad en Eweka beweerde altijd de prijsstijging te communiceren. Om bewijs gevraagd maar dat konden ze niet leveren. Dit is pure misleiding. WEES GEWAARSCHUWD!

Ich bin seit diesem Monat dabei. Sehr zufrieden mit Preis und Service. Alles Top! Volle 5 Sterne... 😊😊😊🤗

Ik krijg regelmatig de aanbieding van Eweka van € 2,50 per maand. Als je dan een abonnement wi nemen en moet afrekenen moet je €37,50 betalen. Dit is misleiding.

The best usenet provider, the contactcenter is perfect, a question is answered very fast. And they give you the best solution.

Eweka just works. Never down and always full speed of my internet connection.

This company has provided me with excellent service. They have addressed all of my inquiries. I plan to remain a customer and recommend this company to others.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I have four main issues:
1) Their completion rate is not as good as others
2) They doubled my rate without asking
3) They are the slowest provider I have tried so far
4) After trying to raise my rates, they were selling access for half the price of what they wanted me to pay.
