Fraudulent company. DO NOT USE! A company that misleads customers.
That allows visa's that are free to cost $141. I tried cancelling immediately and it wouldn't allow for 24 hours, and now is refusing a full refund. Misrepresentation and lack of transparency the purchase in reliance on representations made on their website. In particular, the search result and associated webpage prominently stated (see image below) that travel authorisation for Australians travelling to Korea was "Mandatory from Australia." As an Australian citizen, this representation was materially misleading, as Australians are currently exempt from the Korean K-ETA requirement for the relevant period. This representation was a significant factor in my decision to purchase the service and is clear misrepresentation.

This isn't the government website, it is a private firm that charges high fees for making an application for you. It isn't a scam exactly, they say they are a private firm in small print...although the country flag logo and "evisa" next to it makes it look like it is a portal for an electronic visa for a government. I got my visa and it does look legitimate, so I can't say I didn't get what I paid for. But the firm obviously exists because people think they have to pay more to get a visa and they just do not.

Please be extremely cautious when dealing with this company.

I have been trying for the past four months to recover my money after the British Embassy informed me that no UK eVisa/ETA had been issued in my name, despite the company claiming that my application had been successfully completed. They have refused to provide a refund, even though I requested cancellation within minutes of placing the order and in accordance with their published refund policy.

Based on my experience and the many similar complaints from other customers, I strongly encourage anyone considering using this service to do thorough research before proceeding.

Ich wollte eine ETA für UK beantragen. 1. Es ist nichts schiefgegangen. Aber: Ich bin evisalegal auf dem Laim gegangen: Ich wollte eigentlich mit der offiziellen App die ETA Anmeldung ausführen. Jedoch funktionierte die nicht. so habe ich dann online nach ETA UK gesucht und bin dann dummerweise darauf reingefallen, dass ich dann leider den falschen Link gefolgt bin und nicht der offiziellen von UK. Ich habe das leider viel zu spät gemerkt. Ich habe dann Sorgen bekommen, weil ich ja wirklich dummerweise meine ganzen Daten und Fotos irgendjemanden übergeben habe. Das der Service 120 EUR kostet anstatt 20 britische Pfund ist natürlich auch ärgerlich. Ich habe dann die offizielle Seite aufgerufen und den Status geprüft ob ich wirklich eine ETA Bestätigung habe. Dies wurde bestätigt. Wenigstens bin ich hier nicht auf Betrüger gestossen. Aber bitte bitte macht nicht den gleichen Fehler wie ich!!!!!

This website uses extremely deceptive web designs and dark patterns to mislead customers into paying ridiculous prices.First, their fees are exorbitant and completely untransparent, costing hundreds of dollars more than the actual official government NZeTA fee.Second, they intentionally designed the checkout process to trick and guide me into selecting an extra "Insurance Fee" (USD 205.20). Their ambiguous wording led me to believe this insurance was an official, compulsory requirement for entering New Zealand. The New Zealand government never mandates or issues such a policy!In total, I was overcharged USD 739.20 for 3 applications, while the actual official fee should have only been around USD 225 in total!

This website is a scam. This charges over 5x the price of a visa directly from the government for “service fees” complete BS this gives you nothing extra aside from the visa and is a complete tourist trap scam. Do NOT use this

Ein ETA für England soll 480 Eu kosten. Für 4 Personen die zwei Wochen Urlaub in England machen wollen. Die Kosten betragen auf der offiziellen Regierungsseite bzw. der App pro Person lediglich 23 Eu für 6 Monate. Das ist eine Frechheit, da ich das ETA ja nur für den einmaligen Urlaub benötige und nicht für 2 Jahre. Auf die Kosten die entstehen wird nicht hingewiesen.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! They overcharge by over $100 for their services, and they cheat because they are one of the first results to show up when you look up to apply for a visa for the UK. It gets worst.
They don't tell you how much you are paying until AFTER they charge your card and you allow your bank to be charged.
After I saw how much I was charged, which is again an insane amount, I could not cancel my order as there was an "error message" that my order could not be found, even though it was clearly being processed. THEN they had the audacity to say I could not get a refund because the order was processed. OF COURSE IT WAS, BECAUSE YOUR REFUND LINK IS RIGGED TO NOT WORK UNTIL AFTER THE ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED. Sick, evil, company. PLEASE DO NOT DO WHAT I DID! DO NOT USE!

We wrote a formal complaint to their support e-mail listed on their site to express our extreme dissatisfaction and demanded a full refund for the exorbitant fee of a total of USD 368.00 charged to our account for processing a Sri Lankan Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for 4 travelers.
​The government of Sri Lanka explicitly offers the 30-day tourist ETA free of cost on its official portal (eta.gov.lk) for eligible nationalities.
This platform completely obscured this fact, leading us to believe we was paying a legitimate, mandatory government processing fee with no indication or warnings or suggestions to obtaining the free e-visa.

​Furthermore, we are deeply troubled by what exactly this charge of US$ 368.00 represented. A "service fee" should imply that evisalegal company handled the operational burden of the application.
However, every piece of documentation was uploaded manually by us.
​Every personal detail and passport form was filled out and cross-checked by us.
Evisalegal platform acted as nothing more than an incredibly expensive, deceptive pass-through. Charging USD 368.00 not as a minor, transparent handling fee, but as a massive, hidden markup on a service that is fundamentally free—is predatory, unethical, and a blatant exploitation of travelers.
We felt entirely cheated by their pricing structure and lack of transparency.
We demanded a full refund of USD 368.00 immediately and expect a prompt response confirming that my refund has been initiated, however no one from their teams have called or written back to us.
They have no contact numbers listed as well.
We will never use this website and do not recommend any one else to do the same!

You have stated that your role as a private service provider is disclosed prior to checkout. However, based on our actual user experience:
There was no clear, prominent, or meaningful disclosure that the Sri Lanka ETA is available free of charge via the official government website
The payment flow strongly implied this was a mandatory government-related fee, not an optional third-party service
The distinction between your platform and the official government channel was not sufficiently clear to an average user.
Such omissions, even if technically disclosed in fine print, are materially misleading in practice and do not meet reasonable standards of transparency expected from a service provider.
2. Nature of “Service Rendered”
You state that the fee covers document review, verification, and submission support. However, in our case: All data entry and document uploads were completed entirely by us and the visa was issued immediately with no support required or provided.
No corrections, guidance, or value-added intervention was provided
No evidence of actual “processing” or “handling” effort beyond basic submission was observed.
Therefore, the assertion that a fully rendered service justifies a charge of USD 368.00 is disproportionate and does not reflect the actual level of service delivered.
3. Disproportionate & Unjustified Pricing
Charging USD 368.00 for four applications for a service that is officially free — without clearly highlighting this fact — constitutes:
Excessive markup, Opaque pricing practices and a structure that can reasonably be perceived as exploitative
4. Terms & Conditions vs Fair Practice
While you have referred to your Terms & Conditions, it is important to note that:
Acceptance of terms does not override the obligation for fair, clear, and non-misleading commercial practices.
Any clause that relies on insufficient disclosure or user misunderstanding is subject to challenge from a consumer protection standpoint.
5. Lack of Effective Communication
We also note your claim that a response was previously sent. Unfortunately, no such communication was received.
Additionally: Absence of a contact number
Delayed or ineffective support response further undermines confidence in your service model.

Given the above, we formally request that you reconsider our case in good faith and provide:
A full or partial refund reflecting the lack of substantive service delivered as the customer is not happy with the service provided.
