I wanted to cancel an order almost immediately after placing it but that was impossible, so I wrote to customer service and received what seemed like a personal reply explaining the return options. Chirestie, the customer service rep, made a specific recommendation and said I should write back to her if there was any problem with the refund.

It took a couple of weeks, but the payment was refunded and I didn't have to take any further action.

To sum up, I can't say anything about the product I ordered because I rejected the delivery at the door, but the customer service was very good.

Expensive Products. Poor Quality.
As the title says - expensive Products but very poor quality. My wife purchased a trucker cap for me last year (grey trucker bear 'motif') and after only a handful wears, the colour has almost completely faded out leaving it looking tired and actually quite dirty. I attempted a delicate hand wash but this appeared to do nothing. Really disappointed as this was my first product and I won't be shopping with you again.

Edit - submitted a customer support ticket which has also been ignored.

Absolutely appalling customer service. The sizing of the items was incredibly off which prompted me to return the full order immediately. It has been a month now and despite the tracking stating it has been delivered back to their warehouse and numerous attempts to contact their customer service they keep my money hostage with silly excuses. It's sad because I like Patagonia as a brand and what they stand for but this is just a joke and I will most definitely think again when purchasing their products again.

Unless you're 10000% certain you'll love the items with no need to return, don't risk shopping here!!!

Kurzfassung: High-End-Wathose zum Fliegenfischen gekauft. Zweimal benutzt, offene Naht und Riss am Fuß. Eingeschickt. 2 Monate keine Rückmeldung. Auf meine Nachfrage hin: Wird nun bevorzugt behandelt, repariert und zurück versendet. Die Rücksendung erfolgte tatsächlich innerhalb einer Woche, allerdings befindet sich die Hose noch immer in dem Zustand wie ich Sie versendet habe. Danach habe ich dreimal den Support per Mail angeschrieben und keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Ich war bisher ein großer Fan und ein Super Kunde von Patagonia (ich habe sicherlich 15 Artikel in Benutzung). Eine Firma die sich auf die Fahne schreibt vieles anders und vor allem besser machen zu wollen kann sich so einen Kundendienst nicht erlauben. Produkte von Patagonia kauft man zu einem hohen Preis und hat eine gewisse Erwartung, ein gutes Produkt ist kein gutes Produkt wenn dort ein Support wie bei einer Billigmarke hintersteckt.

Une super entreprise qui se soucie de l’environnement et de ses clients : produit défectueux acheté il y a qq mois mais remboursé et repris pour recyclage. Bravo Patagonia !

Really impressed with the customer service. Delivery of items was very quick and I was kept informed the entire process. Even though the sizing info is helpful on the website I still wasn't sure which size jacket to order for my husband's birthday so bought two a few weeks apart. I decided the first one I'd purchased was the best fit so returned the smaller one. I noticed there was no return info in the package though so was rather worried (by now I'd invested £400 in Patagonia!). I emailed the helpline and didn't have much confidence I'd hear anything back quickly. However, within a couple of hours customer service got back explaining how their returns process worked, and for once, it felt like a nice human being had replied rather than a computer. Jacket dropped off at my village post office Saturday morning. Acknowledgement from patagonia received Sunday. Refund made today (Monday). I'm very impressed. Husband's birthday tomorrow so fingers crossed he likes (and fits!) the medium jacket!

I had a figure 4 jacket that after a few years all the 'welded' seams appeared to degrade and split open. The jacket was worn for approx 3 months a year. Thinking this should be covered by the 'ironclad guarantee' I was advised that this was not as patagonia advised me that it expected that the lifetime of a jacket should be around 4 yrs. To my surprise they refused to honour their ironclad guarantee. I now have (and have had for some time) a useless jacket that they refused to repair.
Do not expect the well advertised ironclad guarantee to cover faults in a jacket older than around 4 years!
Please consider other manufacturers with longer lasting gear.

My zip broke on a garment, customer service was excellent, garment was posted and fixed free of charge and communication was good throughout. Really happy Patagonia back up their stance on sustainability with great customer service.

On May 30th I made an order on eu.patagonia.com.
There was a wrong currency issue and they cancelled my order. They told me that the funds will show back in my account within a couple of days. Well… 15 days have passed and I haven't received anything yet.

I placed again the same order (with the correct currency this time) and shipping method 'Express Shipping' and I still have not received it and no one answers my emails.

So, I have been charged for 2 orders and I haven't received anything, neither refund nor the product

Clearly, this is one of my worst and frustrating online shopping experience I've ever had.

I am beyond impressed with Patagonia. I recently read the CEO's book "Let My People Go Surfing" and in it he promotes the idea that a company should take ownership for everything it makes and that he offers free repairs on all Patagonia items. Well, I have had a Patagonia Micropuff for several years and it sustained a campfire burn a year ago while I was hiking on the Appalachian Trail..I've been super sad about it because I absolutely love my jacket. After the reading the book, I decided to put the company to the test and I sent an email to their repairs department asking if they would repair it. Not only did they immediately respond that they would repair it but they said that Brexit had complicated their returns so in the time being if I didn't want to wait for them to repair it they would pay for the costs of a repair from a local repair shop or I could wait until they opened an England branch. I decided to wait and trust in them. In less than a month they had their England shop opened and running and remembered me and sent me the return label. I am so happy that they're going to fix my beloved jacket and that they've held up to their brand values.
