Patagonia Arvostelua 

I purchased goods via Patagonia EU website on the 8th October. They were despatched on the 9th October, and on the 11th October all traces of the shipment have been lost by their chosen delivery company. I have contacted them several times via email asking for an update, each time I get an email that hey will respond within 24 to 48 hours, and the DON'T! Furthermore I have called 3 times in the last week to ask for any further updates of my goods (€230 worth of clothing) and each time I have been promised they will updated me by the end of the day and they HAVEN'T! I am not sure what else I can do as it is now apparent that this ''premium'' clothing company does not care much about customers which is completely not in line with the image they try and portray to it's customers through their marketing and advertising activities. POOR POOR POOR on so many levels! I will in the future stick with the North Face and Berghaus.

Ordered a wetsuit at Patagonia. Wetsuit was never delivered. Customer service always responded with a standard E-Mail asking me to wait for their enquiry with their logistics partner but then ignored all my requests for updates and never came back to me. Utterly unprofessionell.

Je connais cette entreprise depuis environ 35 ans et je n’ai jamais été déçu par leurs actions en faveur de la Planète Terre, quant à leurs vêtements je les use et les re-use dans toutes mes activités sportives et toujours avec le plein de confort.
Bravo, un grand exemple pour la concurrence !

I ordered two items, both were too large so I had to return them :( (I precise that I returned them in the same package).
And then this happened:
They stated that they received just one of the two items back so I contacted the customers service to be refunded for the second item, after a long 3 days the representative finally answered and told me that they opened an investigation for the second missing item.
Long story short, I waited 3 more weeks to be refunded for the second item as well.
I never experienced such a painful online shopping experience.
It's a shame knowing that prior to this I really liked the brand and now I won't order again from their website.
Sad.

Some delay in my return, but they did send me mails about the delay, so there was that. Got my money back without a hitch.

Honestly very disappointed. Really expected better.

I've got a few thousand pounds of Patagonia gear. I had to contact them for their 'ironclad' warranty just recently for the first time.

2 of the same hat in different colours, both lost their colour and look really rough, despite being barely worn. So it's clearly a product issue.

All they offered me for a 25% discount on a replacement and haven't replied again.

The warranty was the main reason for me purchasing, and if this is the 'warranty' I will definitely be reconsidering in the future.

An expensive Patagonia waterproof jacket let me down in the Mountains. After an initially unhelpful conversation with Patagonia EU customer service they finally agreed that I could return it. I sent the jacket back weeks ago but have heard nothing since. Patagonia talk themselves up so much with their 'Ironclad guarantee'. When you come to claim it's hard work. I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

I purchased middle fork packable waders and cherished them, especially at such a price but after three uses they have sadly failed. Its down to a small, plastic pin joint that has snapped, with no explanation and there appears to be no resolution. Patagonia will only offer £30 for me to find a repair and are unable to fix the product themselves. I realise Patagonia's promise to quality and repair is a fraud. Both the product and customer services are highly disappointing and they refuse to honour their warranty promise. Sadly Simms is probably your better option.

I purchased the Pro Rider 5" running shorts which are highly regarded. They were on offer (slightly) so I didn't mind the delivery fee as much (the reason I previously avoided Patagonia) but I do feel that £7 is an extortionate amount of money to pay for standard delivery. Unfortunately, they didn't fit well so the gamble didn't pay off. The returns part of the website wasn't working and it took 5 days to get a response back from my email. They aim for a response within 48 hours. The shorts seemed great quality but it's not a brand for me, charging that much for delivery and not having a good return experience. Hopefully I get my £42 back quickly.

Customer service was terrible, a week later and still no reply to messages and they used royal mail in the middle of a strike, I've returned my purchase because of this.

Love this brand - love their ethos and love their products

I've been wearing Patagonia since living in Sweden in the early 90s and totally love the product.

With regards the EU online shopping experience, I find the recent move to new shop software disappointing. Screens are slow to refresh and not all the information is displayed in an easy to read format. I also wish they carried more XXL sizes - often we have to telephone the US store to get what we need.

On the plus side, returns are painless and staff are always exceptionally helpful.

After 14 days of wait- there’s still no sight of my order being delivered. I can see my order is in my home country and that it wasn’t delivered due to bad address- but guess what- everything with the address is fine and it was chosen from eu.Patagonia.com site.
After 14 days all I got was one lousy standardized email from the customer service.
I don’t want replacing stuff- I want my order beeing delivered!
I’m feeling customer remorse and my trust in Patagonia has been in question.

I use Patagonia running gear for a couple of reasons; because it is so well designed and the guarantee is superb. After a few years of punishment the gear still performs as good as when new.

I had a small issue with a jacket about a year ago*, the colour had started to fade a little in patches. The customer service team arranged to have it replaced with a new one. Above and beyond what I expected.

*The replacement doesn't have the same issue.

I find that once you have found a company like this, that you can rely on, whose products are superb. Why would you shop anywhere else!?

Their stuff is made for life free repairs untill it can be repaired as well as their policy to make people buy less.
A great brand with great ethos for the people and the planet

Bought a down jacket from them a few years ago, which I ripped recently. They took it in and repaired it as good as new completely free of charge.

I recently contacted the Bristol store via email for help choosing a winter coat. It was probably the best example of customer service I’ve ever seen.
They were incredibly helpful and responsive in making recommendations and sent my chosen coat out promptly. Unfortunately I didn’t like the hood but they happily arranged a courier to come to my house to collect it for a full refund (all at their expense). They then found me a different style and posted it out quickly. I absolutely love my new coat, but even more, love how great the team in Bristol were to deal with. Highly recommended!

I ordered the Grade IV parka in Andes Blue twice in separate orders and both times the jacket arrived dirty and used-looking. Someone had obviously worn it ski-ing or snowboarding as it has melted snow marks all over it. Not impressed for an £800 jacket so I am returning them. Please improve your quality control Patagonia. I will go elsewhere now, somewhere like Valandre to buy better quality.
