Eon ist der schlechteste stromanbieter, denn es so gibt Kundenservice Telefon Hotline. Leider spricht keiner richtig deutsch. Stromabrechnung passieren immer auf Schätzungen und dann kann man sich rumstreiten und bekommt kein Recht mit Eon denkt man. Man ist im falschen Film

So was unverschämtes wie Eon Service Mitarbeiterin HABE ICH NOCH NIE ERLEBT. Selbst auf die Anfrage meinerseits, ob es ein bisschen freundlicher geht, antworte die Mitarbeiterin Edona Q. mit "NEIN". Und war auch nicht gewillt mir zu helfen oder sich anzuhören um was es überhaupt geht. Mit einem Vorgesetzten durfte ich auch nicht sprechen und man wird einfach ahnungslos stehen gelassen. Echt das letzte Unternehmen mit denen man Geschäfte machen sollte.

Extremely poor treatment of a vulnerable customer. Failed to set up new direct debit, allowed arrears to build up without notifying the customer, sent a bailiff round, intimidated the customer, increased the direct debit from £200 to £1,442 a month , took £4,432.02 from the customer's bank account. Customer spent 6 years attempting to resolve the issue, finally reported them to the Energy Ombudsman, who ordered them to pay compensation.

Eon deliberately and repeatedly overcharged our business account to try to force us to install a smart meter. I know that because the eon representative told me that. Eons billing system is broken and its app and other IT is comically bad. Do not use them.

A total horror story. I have been with them for years on autopilot. I recently couldnt login and was then attacked by the awful eon AI bot system that goes nowhere and barely comprehends the issues. The sent me 7 login resets, which was nothing like what was required. The fault was their dodgy website. No customer service and no executives who give a damn. I finally switched to FUSE. Another AI bot outfit but it works well ish. EON didnt like this and their autobots charged me 2 exit fees (which did not apply in my out of contract case) and also blighted my credit record with a weird "U" etc...in fact anything the bots could do to spite me, they did. Be warned folks these clowns will have you doubting your own sanity and will kill your credit record (mine was 100% clean) get away quick. They have turned a very simple issue into hell.

Eine Frechheit. Alte Verträge können offenbar sehr einfach gekündigt werden. Gleichzeitig hat man wegen einer offenen Forderung von lediglich 15 € keine Möglichkeit, den Vertrag zu verlängern, da das Kundenkonto gesperrt ist. Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass behauptet wird, man könne alle Informationen im Online-Kundenportal einsehen. In meinem Fall ist jedoch sogar vermerkt, dass ich keinen Zugriff auf das Kundenportal bzw. meine Vertragsdaten habe, da dieses nicht funktioniert. Dadurch hatte ich keine Möglichkeit, meine Daten oder den Vertragsstatus selbst einzusehen. Für mich ist das weder kundenfreundlich noch nachvollziehbar.

Pretty sure there’s not a worse company for customer service than this one. I continually advise them that we switched electricity suppliers from them nearly a year ago and they continue to insist it’s with them. Rude and unprofessional on the phone when I explained this to them. Shocking

Why ask for a reading today when all previous readings were around the 20th of each month
you EON have changed the system parameters.
I would like to know, why?
and I am still awaiting your response from March 2026

Their customer service is abysmal. They never read e mails properly and often it takes many e mails , they dont adhere to “right first time” mantra so low paid unmotivated staff couldnt care less they just reply without caring.
They are not allowed to call you and if you do phone in it goes to south africa where they will help but without grace. I had a long phonr call yesterday and came away thinking never again
I have several accounts with eon but will be moving them away.
Also they are unhelpful putting you on the best tariff

Ohne Vertrag mit EON verschickt dieses unfähige Unternehmen trotzdem einfach Rechnungen und Mahnungen.

Kundenservice ist eine Katastrophe.
Man muss eine Kaution bezahlen, das Geld, habe ich bis heute nicht zurück erstattet bekommen - angeblich wird es erstattet wenn ich kündige .
Keine Ahnung, warum eine Kaution verlangt wurde - laut Kundenservice weil ich angebliche Schulden hätte , was natürlich nicht der Wahrheit entspricht . Es wundert mich nicht das sie so negative Erfahrungsberichte haben. Ich würde Eon generell nicht weiterempfehlen

Worst Energy Provider
This company seriously needs to be investigated and I will be writing to the Ombudsman and also BBC Watchdog.
They threaten you with ridiculous increases in your bill then demand payment via massive monthly increases. They don’t work with you, threaten you and really just should not be allow to trade.
In 3 months we have been charged over £1,000, the majority on electricity, even though we both work full time, turn off and unplug everything we possibly can, use an open fire for heat. I think they just cook their figures and charge what they like.
I would advise everyone to avoid using this corrupt company, they just basically steal money from you.

Can I give zero stars for this company?
After being constantly badgered by them to have smart metres fitted, and I mean harassment on a weekly basis, I eventually gave in and an engineer arrived on the 27th February. After fitting the new metres he told me I would have to continue to submit manual readings as he wasn’t able to register them or set up my in home monitor. I was told they would be in touch to make another appointment to visit again. I have had no contact from them despite me contacting them on numerous occasions. As I need to be in the house for them to visit and I have to actually go out to work and book this time off, it’s both shoddy and inconsiderate. Trying to call them results in lengthy waits (I’ve currently been on hold for 35 minutes)

Eigentlich kein Stern verdient. Anschlussvertrag lief vom 01.12.25 mit Bestädigung. Am 10.03.26 keine Belieferung mehr, Dammy Abweichung. Anstatt dies mit dem Netzbetreiber zu kären einfach Vertrag beendet und in die Grundversorgung. Alle Daten meinerseits und vom Netzbetreiber richtig hinterlegt nach Prüfung. Da bleibt nur die Schlichtungsstelle oder Anwalt. Ich war viele Jahre Kunde bei EON einen Zahlungsrückstand gab es nie.

Leider sehr unübersichtlich alles.
Oft kaum Anpassungen der Zahlungen und falsche Schätzungen anstatt Zähler abfragen.
Daher oft hohe Endrechnungen welche einen erschrecken.
Kundenservice eine Katastrophe.

Seit drei Monaten bei Eon und noch immer kein bestätigter Vertrag. Jegliche Anfragen bleiben unbeantwortet oder werden mit vorgefertigten Texten abgebügelt und um Geduld gebeten. Von Eon selbst bekommt man nie einen zu sprechen. Der ganze Wechsel, verbunden mit dem schlechten Service ist einfach eine Katastrophe

Ich war über 40 Jahre Kunde bei der Telekom - da ist auch nicht immer alles glatt gelaufen. Aber was E.ON sich gegenüber seinen Kunden leistet ist schon der Gipfel .Bin "gewungenermaßen" zu E.ON gewechselt, weil die Telekom in meinem Wohnort keinen Glasfaseranschluss angeboten hat.
Auf eMails wird verspätet reagiert, zum telefonieren braucht man Nerven wie Drahtseile / 25 - 30 Minuten in der Warteschleife ist normal.
"Heute dauert es leider etwas länger, bis wir Sie persönlich beraten können. Bitte haben Sie noch etwas Geduld" Es dauert noch einen Moment, bis wir persönlich für Sien da sind." Und so weiter und so fort.
Gerade als Neukunde besteht erfahrungsgemäss am Anfang Klärungsbedarf.
Bei E.ON in der Warteschleife entsteht nicht der Eindruck von Professionlität sondern vom strukturellen Desinteresse am Kunden.
Ich erwarte von einem modernen Energieversorger - in diesem Fall Glasfaser - eine funktionierende zeitnahe Erreichbarkeit. Service ist kein optionaler Luxus, sondern elementarer Bestandteil eines Vertragsverhältnisses.
Sollte sich an der aktuellen Situation nichts ändern, werde ich mir ensthaft überlegen müssen, ob meine Entscheidung für E-ON die richtige war...?

Got a phone call 17 Feb then a message saying my meter was old you guy's fitted them then 18feb letter and a email same message gets smart meter.Today 24 February
Voicemail then another letter worryed about this one incase it says they are coming out to kill my dog joking I wouldn't put anything past this company literally everyone one of their customers are will get their doors kicked in like mines was and electric and gas meter was changed now they want me to have a smart meter under the 1986 law eon is trying to bully people or they get a telling of from the government remember I ain't. having one Regards Ian.
