Terrible service,most of the instructors are disrespectful. Most of them only speak Hindi or Urdu fluently ,and when i try to speak in English, they are hardly comprehendable! They dont use the adequate vocabulary while speaking. Internal Assessments are so unclear because they dont give a sheet or a formal review on why you failed however this feature is present in most institutes. Terrible experience. Scheduling a class is very difficult ! Customer service often gave me incorrect information regarding location of certain testing facilities such as the Road Assessment. I had to shell out roughly up to 500 AED for each test failure including for both the Parking Assessment that needs to be passed as well as both the Road Assessments.

⭐ 1/5 – Very disappointing experience with Eco Drive

I’m currently at the parking stage, and unfortunately my experience with Eco Drive has been very poor.

My biggest issue was with an instructor named Mukhtar. From the moment I entered the car, his attitude made me feel uncomfortable and put down instead of supported as a student. He asked me to turn the steering wheel left and right while parked and then make it straight. When I told him I had not properly learned how to identify when the steering wheel was straight and asked him to teach me, instead of explaining it professionally, he told me that if I didn’t know this, it was a problem and I couldn’t learn driving in the parking area.

I’m paying around AED 5,000 to LEARN. If I already knew everything, I wouldn’t need a driving school. A good instructor should explain mistakes calmly and build a student's confidence, not make them feel stupid for asking questions.

The situation became so uncomfortable that I had to leave the lesson and go to the manager to request another instructor. The cars have cameras, so I believe the interaction can be reviewed.

Overall, I feel the teaching environment has been unnecessarily stressful and discouraging. At times, it feels like students are being judged for what they don’t know instead of actually being taught. I’m now seriously considering transferring my RTA file to another driving school even though I’ve already paid around AED 5,000 and reached the parking stage.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Eco Drive. Students deserve patient, respectful and professional instructors, especially when they are paying thousands of dirhams to learn.

I highly recommend Eco Driving Institute as one of the best driving schools in Dubai. I completed both my driving and parking training classes there, and it was a great experience from start to finish.
A special thanks to my parking instructor, Touqeer Ahmed. He is an excellent instructor—patient, professional, and very supportive throughout the training. He explained every parking technique clearly, corrected my mistakes calmly, and made sure I understood each step before moving on.
His teaching style helped me gain confidence and improve my parking skills significantly. He always encouraged me to stay calm and motivated, which made a big difference in my learning experience.

I had booked the theory test and it was booked in Jebel Ali while I was sent at Al Quoz center. Now they are asking the AED 300 additional fee with no mistake of mine. Their call center doesn’t respond. On visiting their center, their manager didn’t meet and I wasn’t informed that I should go back and they have raised internally for waiver? However there is no response till date. There is no adequate response at all.

Very poor experience these guys just want to make money nothing else. Very poor experience. Try to take admission in s9me better school then this

I had an excellent learning experience with my driving instructor. His name is kazim Abbas in eco driving deira city centre.He has patient, professional, and explained everything clearly. He guidance helped me build confidence on the road and improve my driving skills. Mr Kazim Abbas is always punctual, supportive, and made every lesson comfortable and productive. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and friendly driving teacher.

My experience with eco drive overall was good, my instructors all from DSO branch where great especially Muhammad azeem, Mr azeem was more helpful then my assigned assistant! My one complaint is about the assistant, he didn’t reply to me in over a month leaving me to figure everything out for myself or with the help of Mr azeem, I completed the whole process relatively fast and am overall happy. I highly reccomend Muhammad azeem as the DSO branch he couldn’t of been more helpful and nice!

I had good experience with this school, I took classes with very professional teacher Mohammad Imran, highly recommended and his way of explaining driving is appreciated.

Worst experience ever

The worst experience of my life. I'm heading to the police right now to file a complaint. I found them at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai—it's a scam. I paid four months ago and still haven't been able to go pick up my license. Every week they come up with new excuses and don’t respond to WhatsApp. They tell you to go to another physical location just to waste more of your time. This company and its employees have completely worn out my patience. Give me my money back, scammers!

These people are scammers just charging me everytime even after pauing for unlimited package. Worst company I have ever seen, dont get scammed here try with other schools but this ECO gave me mental stress. Scammers!!!!!!!!!

I am really disappointed with staff behavior to the costumer today date 11/04/2026 at 20:00 I went to Quoz laborer camp office to renew my RTA learning permit He directly told me to come next day he even not try for me in RTA system and i when all the way by walk in other Al Quoz eco driving Institute which is near by ABC cargo they make with in 5 min

Worst Service in terms of Support. I dont have an option to give Negative else would have done that.. They were very quick in opening up a file . I paid immediately on 27th Feb and today until 10th April neither my file opened nor i received a learning permit. On top of that when you call their customer service. they give you different answers every time.I have requested a refund from them ..I will take my classes from a different institute...DONT JOIN THIS SCHOOL

Very Poor Service, Extremely Disappointing Experience

I’ve had a terrible experience with Eco Drive School. From the very beginning, there were constant issues with payment updates, and they repeatedly blamed me for not calling them to update the payment information—despite the fact that I was the one trying to keep track of everything. They seem to create endless “payment nonsense” to make things difficult, and it honestly feels like they’re just trying to find ways to get rid of customers.

Booking lessons has been a nightmare—always late, and the class schedule seems to never work out. On top of that, their customer service is practically nonexistent. I was made to feel like I was the problem, when in reality, they were just unprofessional and unorganized. It honestly felt like I was dealing with scammers who don’t care about their clients at all.

I had a great experience with Eco Driving School. The instructors are very professional, especially Muhammad Arshad and Sulaiman Kagiwa. They helped me a lot during my training, especially with parking practice and assessment. Both of them are very patient and made sure I understood everything clearly, which really helped me gain confidence. I am truly grateful and thankful for their support and guidance.
