I sold my Honda Fit. I submitted the information on a form and they gave me an initial amount. That evening, they sent me a message saying the auction was over and gave me a better offer than other recyclers. I chose the desired date to pick up the car online, and on the scheduled day, a guy called me 30 minutes before his arrival, inspected the vehicle, and I signed the sale digitally. They sent me the money via Interac and told me a tow truck would come in two days to pick it up. And that's exactly what happened.

I used EcoRecycle for the sale of my 2012 Jeep Compass. The tow truck driver called 15 minutes before arriving and was there on time. He was kind and professional, gave me my license plate, the cash that they had offered with a bill of sale.

Scam! Offered one price initially and day of decided to offer half the price initially offered. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

The company is very unprofessional. I initially received a fair quote on my GMC SUV from them. I agreed to the set price and agreed on a time and date for pick up. After waiting for 3.5 hours I called to see if he was coming. He made an excuse and rescheduled the time. I then waited for additional 3 hours. He then told me to
Send some pics of the vehicle. He then said the vehicle is overpriced. This company needs to hire more competent staff. They cost me money because I took the day off work to accommodate them. I would not recommend them to anyone.

so i had this 2009 mazda parked out front of my building here in montreal, totally dead, wasn’t starting, and i finally decided it was time to get rid of it. i started calling around — i swear i talked to at least 10 different companies — and every single one was either sketchy, dishonest, or just a total waste of time. one guy gave me a price, then said something completely different when i called back. another one told me to “just get it towed over” — like what? the car doesn’t even move! one said they were coming that afternoon and never showed. just a bunch of runaround and shady business.

i was about ready to give up when i found ecorecycle. i filled out their form online and within an hour, someone named marc texted me. super polite, straight to the point, no pressure. he asked a couple questions about the car and gave me a solid offer, right away. and not just that — he kept his word. he said they’d pick it up the next day, and they actually did. driver called before arriving, was super respectful, helped with the paperwork, no stress, and i got paid on the spot, exactly what was promised.

honestly, ecorecycle is the only company that acted professionally and actually did what they said they would. don’t waste your time with anyone else — this is the only one i trust after that experience. they’re doing things right in an industry where most people clearly aren’t.
