This company is a disaster
We rented a car online. Upon arrival, we were informed that we had to pay a supplement because we had booked with the wrong credit card. The car we received was not the one we had booked. The child car seat was not the right one, so we had to request another one. The car did not have a windshield washer fluid. Upon returning, we returned the car without a clear checkout and we never received our receipt even though the car was returned in the same condition. This company is a disaster!

All rental conditions, including card requirements, vehicle class (“or similar”), and optional full coverage, are clearly stated before confirming any booking. The full coverage is always chosen and signed by the customer at the rental counter.
Please note that the vehicle provided is always the same model booked or an equivalent one from the same class, in full accordance with international rental standards.
We kindly ask you to identify yourself or provide your rental agreement number, as we cannot locate your booking based on your nickname.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, I hired a car from these bandits for 7 days, returned the car in the same condition as I received it and they have taken my security deposit away for pre-existing damage claiming it is new, they have cut all contact off and are refusing to send any additional photos for evidence, they also docked the form on return to say "I am returning the car with new damage" which I never would have signed, they have committed fraud by doing this
I have had to contact my credit card company to claim my money back, don't bother with these bunch of chancers, hire from a reputable company instead
UPDATE: I have once again contacted them via email and they are still ignoring my communications, the credit card company is now dealing with them

Stay far away from this company.
- They gave a me a car with the engine light on
- They did not block the deposit, they just took the money out (1500€)
- Upon returning the car, they told me everything was in order and the deposit would be returned
- When I called back two weeks later they said it could take up to 20 days, but there were no damages so they're just waiting in case there's a traffic fine
- After calling back a month later, they told me there were damages to the car and they've withheld the complete deposit
- When delivering the car they had me a sign a document where no damages were marked
- They then wrote on that paper, after I signed, "the car was returned with damages"
- The pictures and the document they sent me as evidence were taken 6 hours after I returned the car
I'm now trying to claw my money back through the bank.
This company is a scam, they are just thieves.
EDIT: Two days after submitting this review, I was indeed issued a partial refund. However, the rest of my statements are still factual. Here are some more details:
- The vehicle inspection was done after I returned the car. The photos sent to me were timestamped at 17:30, when I boarded my flight at 13:00
- The document with my signature, which was empty when I signed it, was also timestamped at 17:30, where suddenly it had an extra handwritten note. That's actual fraud.
- I was not notified of any damages until one month later (and I have the documents to prove it)

Your statements do not reflect the facts. All vehicles are inspected and photographed before and after each rental, with a detailed report including the exact date and time. The photos taken after the return are part of our standard post-rental inspection procedure.
Your deposit was partially refunded, with only the cost of the verified repair charged in accordance with the rental agreement.
In addition, you were notified by email about the identified damages, and not — as you claim — only after your phone call.
The statement that the entire deposit was withheld is inaccurate.

Unglaublich unfreundlicher und unfähiger Mitarbeiter. Der uns das Auto nicht gab, weil wir statt eines koffers einen grossen Koffer und einen kleinen Koffer dabei hatten. Wir haben es dann gecancelt, haben unser geld aber nicht zurückbekommen, wir werden hier nie wieder buchen.

J’ai réserver une clio dans l’agence du centre ville de Sofia qui en fait n’existe pas il a fallu me rendre à l’aéroport.
La clio était en piteux état de carrosserie pas de radio prise usb qui ne fonctionne pas sièges trouer par des cigarettes et aucune suspension

We are sorry to read your review. We would like to clarify that deposits are never withheld arbitrarily – they are a standard guarantee, as clearly stated in every rental agreement. After the vehicle is returned in the same condition and no outstanding obligations (such as damages, fines, or missing fuel) are found, the deposit is released within the official timeframe.
Optional insurance packages are also fully transparent and explained to each customer at the time of booking and signing the contract. We always strive to provide clear information, and we are more than happy to review your individual case if you contact us directly.
Not returning the deposit
Me and my wife (Suchismita Saha) booked a car from Sofia airport. There was no scratch no damage in the car while returning. Even after 3 months we have not received the deposit money back. I called them repeatedly, but nobody picked up.

estas personas son un topo de scam. mientras que tu tentas el carro son muy amables. Pero despues te roban el deposito y te dan un carro malo. si tu no miras lo que rentastes luego te cobran los dańos de otro cliente y asi susesivamente. Y si reclamas tu depósito te tratan de estúpido.
These people are scammers. While you're trying out the car, they're very friendly. But then they steal your deposit and give you a bad car. If you don't pay attention to what you rented, they'll charge you for damages caused by another customer, and so on.

Comportamento scorretto
Dopo due anni dal noleggio, nei nei scorsi, mi è stata notificata una multa dalla Bulgaria, preciso che la cifra di tale multa mi era subito stata addebitata sulla carta di credito. Dato che Easy Rent Bulgaria non ha provveduto al pagamento della multa, ho subito scritto richiedendo il rimborso di quanto mi hanno trattenuto ma come temevo, nessuna risposta mi è pervenuta.
