i Hire A car from this company in Sunny Beach in July 2025 , first, the hire charge was a little more than most companies however i need a car for the week which 200euros then a deposit of another 200 euros which once i had return the car in full of fuel they told it would be 30 day to retrun depsit . which 35 days later they still have retrun this . i will not use again i have appartment in sunny beach and there are better company to hire from .

I’m regular customer of the company for a couple years, the prices are way lower than other rental agencies and their service is top notch.The car that I got this summer for 35 days was the new renault clio V 2025 and it was perfect.I can only recommend the company

🚨 WARNING: SYSTEMATIC SCAM – AVOID AT ALL COSTS 🚨
This so-called car rental company is nothing but a well-organized fraud. Their method is always the same:

They take a “security deposit” as if it’s a normal procedure.

When you return the car, they make you sign what looks like an innocent form — often completely blank or incomplete. They refuse to give you a copy.

Later, they forge the document and fill it with false handwritten notes claiming you admitted to damages that never happened.

They then send staged photos of “imaginary damages” and steal money from your deposit.

I personally experienced this, and afterwards discovered hundreds of other victims describing the exact same scam. It is systematic, intentional, and absolutely criminal.

⚠️ Do NOT be fooled by the “good reviews” you may see — those come from naive customers who didn’t experience the scam yet, or who wrote immediately after pickup. Ignore them. The truth is in the countless negative reviews from people who were cheated exactly the same way.

👉 Stay away. These are professional con artists, not a real rental company.

This was by far the worst car rental experience we have ever had.

From the very beginning, the staff was rude and unprofessional – I was even spoken to in a disrespectful way just because my driver’s license still shows my maiden name instead of my married name.

We booked a station wagon online, but were only given a small sedan. When we complained, the staff didn’t care at all. On top of that, we were told that we had to return the car fully cleaned inside, including vacuuming. This is absolutely ridiculous – no professional rental company asks customers to do this.

The car itself was a complete disaster: full of dents and scratches, doors that didn’t open properly, and generally in such poor condition that it felt unsafe to drive. It was more like a junkyard vehicle than a rental car.

This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and provides cars that should not even be on the road.
Avoid Easycars at all costs – we will never book with them again.

Ich habe dreimal bei easyrent ein Auto gemietet, und es war so alles in Ordnung.
Beim letzten mal wurde mir die Rückgabe der Kaution von 200 € verweigert, weil ich angeblich für zwei "neue" Schäden verantwortlich war. Das Auto hatte insgesamt fünf oder sechs Schäden. Ich frage mich, ob die Firma das Geld wenigstens bekommen hat. Ich meine es war ja bar hinterlegt.

You specifically asked me to send you an email so you could review the matter and provide a solution. I have done exactly that – yet I have not received a single response from you. This is unacceptable and not how any reputable business should operate. By ignoring your customers, you are effectively holding them hostage. I am still shocked that you withdrew money from my account immediately after I left your premises, and I expect a prompt and clear response to resolve this issue.

I have not received my deposit of 500 BGN even after 5 months. I returned the vehicle in good condition, there is no damage claim filed. My contract number 3879420. Worst experience at Sofia airport, during pickup this rude employee forced me to get full protection insurance worth 100BGN and with deposit of 500 BGN, even though I already booked insurance with check24. Even after repeated contact, the deposit is not returned. Stay away from Easyrent, never book here.

In May, I rented a vehicle from Easyrent Bulgaria. The car was older and showed visible wear, I had to change a headlight bulb myself at a petrol station as the bulb was gone when I started the car. I noticed a small crack in the windscreen, which I photographed before starting the rental.
Because I did not select the optional premium insurance, a deposit of BGN 3,000 (around €1,600) was taken. When I returned the car, I was informed that the windscreen was damaged and that the deposit would not be returned. The damage described matched the same crack that was visible in my pre-rental photographs.
I tried to contact the company several times to provide this evidence, but my calls and messages stopped going through and I could no longer reach them.
Based on my experience, I would choose a different rental provider in the future, and I recommend that anyone considering this company documents the vehicle’s condition thoroughly before leaving the rental location and ensures all terms are fully clear in writing before signing.

Following my original review, I can confirm the case was not resolved by the rental company as stated in their response. I had to recover the withheld deposit through a chargeback with my bank.

I had a reservation for a car rental at 1:00 PM today at Varna Airport easyrent company, but the customer service worker who was at the checkout was very rude to me and insulted me with bad words after which I canceled the reservation.

this was the worst car hire by far . not only fraudster and they cheat after taking payments and they never
return it or tax it without permission in the why putting the client at fault , so they can take the deposit like easy piece of cake . there young man in charge who set at varna airport branch , is the worsts of them all , so rude refuses to help out and stealing the deposit amounts after making claim on cars has no wrong or damages . always it happens after costumers back to there home land

We had difficulties with another agency and easyrent solved our problem for less than 10 minutes providing us a brand new car for an amazing deal in the high season.Everything was done very fast and we received our deposit without any issues

Avoid at any cost, absolutely appalling service, trying to charge additional money for not having IDP which essentially is a translation of UK driving licence into English!!!!!!
Glad we haven't paid and managed to not take the car! Authorities need to take their licence away!

The staff at Burgas airport requested the above from my partner and if he cannot provide he asked for more money which is another nonsense.
You either need the IDP as legal requirement indeed , or just rent the car; How.asking for more money can help with not having the at all?
My partner and 16 year old son were left without a car at 10.30 pm on a Sunday night at the airport when we were waiting then for a funeral.
It was not just another holiday!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this car rental company. The vehicle they gave me was not in good condition - it had visible damage, strange noises, and felt unsafe to drive. I reported the issues right away, but they didn't seem to care.

Even worse, after I returned the car on time and in the same condition, they refused to return my deposit. I've tried contacting them multiple times, but they ignore emails and give vague excuses over the phone.

This company is clearly untrustworthy and seems to make money by scamming customers out of their deposits. Renting from them was a huge mistake, and I strongly warn others to avoid them.

You're better off spending your money elsewhere with a company that values honesty and custom rvice.

Can not believe criminals like these are allowed to operate out of Sofia airport, I had dealings with them last march and after a lot of stress it’s taken until now to sort out do your self a big favour and rent from a reputable company, if you are tempted by what seems like low prices pay by credit card only and take photos of every body panel including the windscreen and don’t delete for at least 4 months they will try everything they can to extract money out of you when you take the car back do yourself a favour and rent of one of the larger reputable companies.
In the reply below from the car hire company it makes me laugh that after a bad review from me and now it has been sorted by my credit card company they would like to talk to me !

I would once again recommend never renting a car from this bunch of crooks use a reputable car hire company, in no way would your company want to deal with this matter in a fair and reasonable manner as all you are trying to do is rob innocent normal everyday people.
Please if you have had a reply from easy rent like I have edit your original post and give booking details like I have to help innocent renters from being cheated by these criminals.

Служителите бяха учтиви, но малко бавни при връщането на депозита – изчаках около 25 дни, макар да ми обещаха 20. Общо взето, услугата е приемлива за краткосрочна наемане, но има място за подобрение в чистотата и бързината на връщане на депозита. Ще обмисля отново, ако подобрят тези аспекти.

Excellent service

I rented a car from them on 21.07.2025.
At that time, I paid the rental fee in cash and a deposit of 200 EUR.
I took out full insurance for the car.
The car I handed over was in poor technical and aesthetic condition, it was dirty inside, it smelled of tobacco and dog, but I did not raise any objections.

I returned the car on 2025.07.25, at 20:15 local time.

The employee claimed that I had smoked in the car, which of course was not true, which I also voiced. Since we did not agree, another employee came out and also claimed this untruth. In the heat of the almost half-hour argument, I hit the car with my palm, which caused minimal damage.
After that, we went into the office, and they still insisted that I had smoked in the car.
They wrote what happened on the receipt sheet, on which I also wrote my own version. I was just able to take a photo of it, because they forcibly tore it out of my hands.
We verbally agreed that they would keep the 200 EUR deposit and that everything was settled, just let me go because I would miss the plane.
They wouldn't let me go until I signed a blank!! receipt form. They said that if I didn't sign it, they would call the police.
I signed it, but it was very difficult to take a photo of it because they wanted to snatch it from me too.

I was already at the security check when I received a bank notification that an additional 600 BGN had been deducted from my account, in my opinion completely unlawfully.

So a total of 200 EUR and 600 BGN had been taken from me, which at the current exchange rate is 201,132 HUF.

This procedure seemed suspicious to me and I checked the company's Google reviews, and customers report several similar cases.

Update:
Contrary to what easyrent claims, I did not smoke in the car. The seats were already stained and dirty when I started the rental, I wiped the steering wheel and gear lever with a disinfectant wipe, which turned completely black. Unfortunately, I did not take any interior pictures, but in the Google reviews under my name you can see the exterior of the car when I started the rental. I leave it to everyone's imagination what it must have been like inside. 🤮🤮

Vi kom da der var mørkt, og tog film og billeder af hele bilen. Bilen var fyldt at buler, ridser og meget andet slid.
Da vi skal aflevere bilen tilbage, mener de, at de skader og buler der er på bilen (som var der i forvejen) er lavet af os. De tog et depositum på 4000 BGN.
Man bliver mødt af personer der intet engelsk kan og samtidigt er utrolig arrogante. SÅ HOLD JER LANGT VÆK! Det er et stort scam nummer!
Bilen er udlejet gennem economybooking. Så vær påpasselig.
