First night didn’t work out - too many clouds, too little activity. Luckily I got an extra shot two days later. Our guide Devin was as entertaining as devoted to catch those lights. And we did :)

This is our 2nd time to Iceland
This is our 2nd time to Iceland. We came here in Feb 2025 and did the Northern Lights Tour and also the South Coast tour back then and both were very good. Today we did the Golden Circle tour and it was also very fun. Simon the Spicy Viking is hilarious and made the tour and music for the rides between stops a day to remember- even though he won’t give me his hat. Can’t forget Puff Daddy the puffin either.

We couldn't see the Northern Lights
We couldn't see the Northern Lights, but it was not Devin's fault. Hi tried different places but the conditions were not the best. We are thankful for his professionalism, knowledge and sympathy.

Increíble la Península de Snaefellsnes
Hemos hecho tres visitas guiadas con EastWest y la experiencia ha sido fantástica. Tanto el Círculo Dorado como la Costa Sur nos han fascinado, pero sin duda, la que más nos impresionó fue La Península de Snaefellsnes.
Es la excursión más completa que te sumerge en una Islandia salvaje: Yri Tunga y sus focas, la iglesia negra, la costa de Arnastapi, la playa negra de Djúpalónssandur y Kirkjufell, la montaña más icónica del país y protagonista en la serie "Juego de Tronos".
Además, el guía llamado Oscar fue didáctico y ameno. Con su eterna sonrisa nos descubrió los orígenes de la isla y su evolución hasta nuestros días. Por otro lado, su mirada de geólogo nos conquistó con sus conocimientos sobre el paisaje en cada parada. Ha sido un privilegio poder contar con él en esta excursión.
También merece la pena destacar la comida en la granja. Variedad de productos locales cocinados de manera tradicional, fue una delicia el pollo de corral con verduras ecológicas.
También merece la atención destacar que el minibus con amplios asientos de cuero es muy confortable. Cuenta con Wifi y cargador de dispositivos electrónicos.
Recomendamos encarecidamente estas excursiones ya que los guías locales ensalzan la incontestable belleza del país.

Un viaje inolvidable por tierras islandesas de mano de los mejores.
Viajar a Islandia era un sueño para nosotros como pareja aunque nos preocupaba un poco el tema del idioma porque no hablamos inglés de manera muy fluida pero los guías hicieron el idioma súper accesible con lo que entendimos todos los detalles de la ruta. Desde la primera excursión, esa preocupación desapareció por completo.
La organización fue impecable, pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue el equipo humano. Todos los guías fueron increíblemente buenos en especial smäuri que fue encantador. A pesar de la barrera del idioma, hicieron un enorme esfuerzo por hacerse entender, usando un lenguaje sencillo, paciencia y mucha amabilidad. Cuando nos costaba alguna explicación, siempre buscaban la forma de ayudarnos para que no perdiéramos nada de la historia ni de los detalles de los lugares que visitamos. Se nota cuando la gente disfruta de su trabajo y se preocupa de verdad por sus viajeros. Nos sentimos acogidos y cuidados durante todo el viaje además los minibuses que utilizan son de alta calidad en todas sus experiencias, nuevos y con detalles tan utiles como bandejas para poder dejar tu café o un espacio para dejar el móvil y cargarlo con USB. Recomendamos esta agencia al 100%, especialmente si buscas una experiencia cercana y guías de los que dejan huella.
Ya tenemos ganas de volver y seguramente escojamos la excursión para ver auroras boreales y repetiremos sin duda la de Snaeffsnes aunque la del Golden Circle y South Coast también nos enamoraron.
