We just came back from an unforgettable trip in Western Sichuan with Eastogo.
We had an amazing time! The contrast between the buzzing energy of Chengdu and the vast, windswept plateaus of Kham was nothing short of breathtaking, and in retrospect we genuinely wish we’d had more days up in the Tibetan highlands, as that was hands-down the part with the most unusual, dramatic scenery we’ve ever seen, paired with a culture so different from anything we’d experienced before — Tagong especially felt like stepping into a completely different world, with its monasteries, prayer flags, and endless mountain horizons. Our guide Jack was fantastic from start to finish: incredibly helpful, always punctual, endlessly patient with our questions, and always ready to share his deep knowledge of China’s history, culture, and everyday life — the kind of guiding that transforms a trip into a real, immersive experience rather than just sightseeing. Every single day brought something new and exciting, from the food to the landscapes to the people we met along the way, and we honestly enjoyed every single moment of it. Huge thanks to the whole Eastogo team for such a well-organized, authentic, and unforgettable adventure — we’ll be back for more!

We had a wonderful and unforgettable trip through Western Sichuan with Eastogo. Serena was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, patiently working with us to tailor the itinerary to our interests.
The absolute highlight was Tagong, especially our time with the local guide and the nomadic family. These experiences felt genuinely authentic and gave us a real opportunity to learn about Tibetan culture and everyday life. Eastogo's support during the trip was excellent. They always responded very quickly and were particularly helpful when I became severely unwell and we needed to adapt our plans. A special mention also goes to our driver, Wang, who was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the journey.
There were a few things that could be improved: some driving-time estimates were quite optimistic, and we were less impressed by the stops and accommodation in Xinduqiao and the Mount Siguniang area.
Overall, Eastogo gave us access to places and experiences that would have been very difficult to organise independently. Their flexibility, local knowledge and excellent support made this a very special journey, and we would happily recommend them to anyone wanting to explore the less-visited parts of Western Sichuan.

My partner and I traveled around the Sichuan with Eastogo and it has been an amazing experience! Western Sichuan is beautiful, and Serena and her team planned everythings perfectly. Last but not least, our driver Jack has been really kind, he has always driven safe, and told us a lot of things about Sichuan and China. It was amazing meeting him and spent some days together.

I had a wonderful experience travelling through Sichuan. Everything went exactly according to plan, and the whole trip was very well organized from beginning to end.

The places I visited were absolutely stunning, with incredible landscapes, fascinating local culture, beautiful villages and monasteries, and some truly unforgettable scenery. It was a fantastic way to discover a part of Sichuan that I would otherwise have found much more difficult to explore on my own.

A special mention goes to my driver, Jack, who was excellent throughout the entire trip. He was reliable, helpful and great company during the long drives. He also helped me understand the places we were travelling through a little better, sharing information and giving me a more personal perspective on the region. Travelling with him made the experience both easier and more enjoyable.

Overall, everything ran smoothly, the itinerary was excellent, and the places I saw exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend Eastgo to anyone looking to explore Sichuan and experience its landscapes, culture and more remote areas. A memorable trip from start to finish!

Loved the experience from start to finish. Eastogo made sure that everything run smoothly and they actually were communicating to tailor the trip to our personal preferences, listening and actively trying to include our own suggestions while at the same providing a kind of insight for the area that would be impossible to come across another way. Most of all though, big thanks to our driver Ting/Angela. She totally elevated the experience. She felt more like having another friend in the trip rather than just a driver. Communication with her was more than smooth and all the drives no matter how long felt enjoyable and above all safe. All the accommondations as well were at the same time both very comfortable and hospitable, as well as in tune with local style. Lastly, the area of Western Sichuan itself is breathtaking, the mountains, the villages, the grasslands, the lakes, the people. It was in fact the first time i used a travel agent and eastogo left me more than satisfied

Eastogo was great to work with. My trip was from 19-30 May 2026. Thw weather in western Sichuan was very warm to hot at low altitudes and cool to cold at high altitudes. They assisted with my visa application, provided a great itinerary, had great guides, safe travel within China, used clean and comfortable accommodations, had special and unique experiences daily, and the value of the trip was great for the experiences I had for 12 days. My guides Luini and Shan were fantastic and made sure I had the best experience possible. The journey I had was a wildlife and culture focus. There were remote locations on the trip and they were extraordinary beautiful locations. Some areas were physical, but not extreme for an average person. I would travel with Eastogo again and i highly recommend them for wildlife tours in China.

Amazing expedition experience to see the snow leopard on the Tibetan Plateau! This was a trip of a lifetime and everything went according to plan. The team and guides were excellent, professional and caring. I highly recommend doing this trip with eastogo and will definitely be working with them again on my next trip to this region of China!

We have been traveling across Oceania and Asia for nine months now; we’ve met many drivers along the way, but Carrick is by far the best! His car was also very comfortable! The organization was excellent from start to finish!

We spend 9 days in Tibet with Eastogo. We were a little worried that Western China might be a little difficult to explore independently and we are so glad we ended up booking the tour with them. The activities they planned was amazing and felt very authentic, we were able to see the beautiful nature of western china as well as experiencing a lot of cultural practices. Spending time with tibetan locals was definitely a highlight of our trip. I would definitely recommend them,

The 7-day road trip around West Sichuan with easttogo was absolutely amazing. They organized a very custom-made tripe just as we imagined it and suggested interesting placed and recommendations on the way.
Our driver Jack was super fluent in English and made all our wishes possible. We had very interesting conversations with him about live and culture in China. We brought us to the yummiest restaurants and was helpful with all our questions. We felt super comfortable with him!

Eastogo made my trip to China very easy and stress free. They provided support and the relevant documents for the visa application and went above and beyond to ensure we were fully prepared for the trip - even down to instructions on how to load the apps needed to make payments etc in China. Our travel planner Nancy and Eastogo were fantastic, both in the pre-trip explanations and in the assistance during the trip.
Our guide, Renqing, was simply exceptional; it's amazing how he manages to find animals in the mountains. It was exciting to see all the animals, even the snow leopard; we saw four.
Our driver and co-guide, Atop, was also truly impeccable.
Besides Renqing's skill at finding hidden animals, we were also amazed by his great humanity. During the trip, I was sick with a fever, but thanks to Renqing, I had all the necessary assistance, even at night, when I needed oxygen.
The welcome from the Tibetan family was also wonderful. The living conditions during the days with the Tibetan family were more difficult due to the cold in the room and the bathroom outside the room, but this wasn't a problem; we knew it and it was part of our wonderful experience. For some, it can be a problem, but we were prepared and everything went well; the trip makes up for these small difficulties.
The rooms, however, were always clean and welcoming, despite the cold.
We also loved the panda tour in Wolong-Cheng Du; the guide was excellent and the activities were really nice.
I can only thank Nancy, Eastogo and all the guides who helped us love and discover Tibet and China. If we plan another vacation to China in the future, we'll definitely do it with Eastogo.

Spending this week with Eastogo was the best decision we could take about our journey in Western Sichuan.
Service has been excellent since the very first minute, Tea was the perfect host and driver, always making us feel comfortable and pampered so that we consider him more a friend than a supplier, local guides were really welcoming and we had a special time with them too... And what can we say about the Tibetan Plateau, simply a marvel.
A wonderful service has been actually provided since the very beginning of the planning phase: Serena was able to propose and arrange the perfect trip even if with a really short notice - we really booked our flight last minute.

I usually organise my trips by myself so I'm always a little bit "skeptical" about agencies... But Eastogo was simply the best. They gave us exactly what we needed, and our experience felt the most authentic and "local" adventure we could have.

The organization of the trip was simply perfect. The staff was supportive and very precise with providing information and details. It was an incredible tour. Highly recommended!

J'ai eu la chance de faire un voyage de 2 semaines dans l'Ouest du Sichuan et sur le plateau tibétain avec Eastogo et ce fut un voyage totalement inoubliable ! Z, le fondateur d'Eastogo, est passionné par son pays et a su s'entourer d'une équipe jeune et dynamique, tout aussi passionnée que lui. Ils arrivent à dénicher des hébergements incroyables, même au beau milieu de nulle part ! C'était mon premier voyage en Chine et j'ai apprécié d'être encadrée de A à Z lors de ce voyage. La sélection des activités était parfaite, avec une mention spéciale pour l'initiation à la méditation et la journée que nous avons passé avec une famille de nomades. Bref, je ne peux que les recommander !
