Our trip to Tibet was exceptionally well-organized and smooth from start to finish. Even when a severe snow storm forced us to adjust our schedule slightly, our guide, Garong, handled everything seamlessly. He was remarkably patient, warm, and insightful, taking the time to explain the cultural and historical significance behind every destination. We felt genuinely welcomed throughout our journey. Honestly, we could never have experienced Tibet to this degree on our own—traveling with Garong made all the difference. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to explore Tibet!

Tour guide Gonpo is excellent, no complaints. He was exceptionally kind and patient and attentive to everyone’s needs. He also is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about his homeland and there were almost no questions he was unable to answer. However the itinerary and structure of our tour was somewhat rushed and involved a lot of travel time and not very much variation in activity types. Perhaps this was unavoidable.

Our tour guide Gonpo is very knowledgeable about Tibet culture and religion. I learned a lot from his explanation. He is very patient and kind. There are quite a few in our group experience altitude sickness, he is always accommodating with the changes and each person’s needs in an instant

We are very happy with the tour we booked to Tibet from 26 September to 10 October to undertake our Kailash Kora.

Sherry, our tour agency representative, was very helpful, responsive, and prompt in addressing all our enquiries and requests. She truly deserves a **5-star rating** for her excellent service.

Upon our arrival in Tibet, our tour guide, Yeshe, was equally helpful and resourceful. He was always ready to assist us with our needs, especially when Zora started experiencing difficulties. Throughout the three days of the Kailash Kora, Yeshe provided us with great support and assistance, ensuring that we were well taken care of.

We would also like to commend our driver Sonam who was extremely professional, safe, and alert throughout the entire 14-day journey. We felt safe and comfortable with him behind the wheel, even while travelling on challenging roads and through remote areas. His careful driving and professionalism gave us great peace of mind throughout the trip.

I went on a 16-day trip to Tibet with a group of 10 people, traveling through Everest Base Camp and the Kailash Kora, all the way to the Guge Kingdom. The tour itself was truly spectacular, but what made the experience perfect was our guide, Dorje Himalaya. We encountered some unexpected weather challenges, which Dorje handled absolutely perfectly. He was professional, responsible, highly efficient, friendly, and understanding with everyone at all times. Furthermore, he is extremely well-prepared when it comes to managing altitude sickness and handling all the technical requirements for such a demanding journey. If I were to return to Tibet, I would only do so if Dorje were my guide again. He truly made the impossible possible, all while keeping the group’s spirits high and full of positivity.

My experience was amazing. Both guides were great, funny, good story tellers. The weather was great and the scenery was breathtaking. I really enjoyed this trip.
The only thing was a little uncomfortable long ride on the bus. But i would definitely recommend this trip to my friends and family!

We travelled to Tibet right after the flood so there was a lot of uncertainty, especially about travelling to Everest Base Camp. Tibet Vista kept us informed all the way and worked very hard to secure permits for us when many other groups were not able to do so. Tensing and Daiwa (sp.?) were very flexible with small changes we requested. Daiwa made Tibet with its nuance and rich beauty come alive for us and she was very knowledgeable about everything from maps, to check points, to Buddhism. And they were always on time, which helps the trip be more enjoyable. Hotel in Lhasa was right in the heart of the city near the Temple and Palace. Food was varied and of good quality and several hotels were new and sparkling clean. I was deeply touched by my experience in Tibet. Tibet Vista tour people were instrumental in helping create that experience. Thank-you all!

Our group did a 15-day Kailash tour with Tibet Vista from September 27 to October 11, 2026. It was an unforgettable Tibet experience, and we would like to share what made it so special.

We worked on the organisation of the trip with Laura Tang, who was a great organiser. The program was perfectly constructed for visiting the most important spiritual and natural places, and it followed a medically recommended acclimatisation schedule. We acclimatised so well in four days that all of us slept without problems at Everest Base Camp (5,200 m) and during the Kailash Kora, and we were surprised that our bodies could do it.
Because our group's organiser was very busy, we often had to make decisions at the last minute, sometimes within minutes. Laura was always very open to adapting to the changes we asked for. For example, the usual three-day Kailash Kora was done in four days, and that was no problem for her. At the end of the journey, our group asked her to organise an extra one-day trip to Beijing, and she arranged everything in two days. Really great skills. Beyond that, she is very easy to communicate with and very friendly. Even without knowing her personally, it was easy to talk to her about difficulties during the trip, and she would support us and adapt. In recognition of our cooperation, she offered me one free night at the hotel, which I found extremely kind. She is a great person and a true professional. We already talked to her about future cooperations.

A special note goes to the choice of guide. Sonam Tenphel was the heart of this journey. He combines deep knowledge, professionalism, spirituality, empathy, open-mindedness, honesty, and a great sense of humour. Our group was rather chaotic, with frequent changes of plans for hotels and the Kora, yet Sonam handled everything perfectly, always with several solutions at hand, even at night. He looked after us when we struggled with the altitude, encouraged each of us during the Kora, and reorganised the final days so we would be more comfortable. Thanks to his knowledge of both everyday Tibetan life and its spiritual culture, nobody in our group was disappointed. He is genuine and big-hearted, and it was easy to connect with him. We could not have asked for a better guide.

Our driver was also very well chosen. Although the language barrier limited our conversations, he always greeted us with warm energy and a big smile, helped with the luggage, and drove very well.

We loved this incredible journey. We came home proud of ourselves and a little sad that it ended so soon. We would be happy to visit Tibet again, and we will definitely choose the same agency. Thank you Tibet Vista!

Our trip through Tibet involved some unexpected changes due to severe weather and snow, particularly around Mount Kailash. Although this was disappointing, we understood that the weather was outside Tibet Vista’s control. What mattered to us was the help we received when our plans had to change.

Liam Jiang, Tenzing Lhasa, and our driver Sidha were kind and supportive throughout. When arrangements needed to be revised at short notice, they worked hard to find alternatives and help us continue our journey. We felt supported during the uncertain moments, and we really appreciated their patience and flexibility.

The trip didn’t follow the exact itinerary we had expected, but it was still a meaningful and memorable experience. We’re grateful to everyone at Tibet Vista who helped us before and during our travels, and we came home with lasting memories of Tibet.

My 15-day Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Yatra was truly one of the most spiritual, memorable, and life-changing journeys of my life.

From the beginning to the end, the entire journey was very well organised. Travelling through the beautiful and challenging landscapes of Tibet, visiting the sacred Lake Mansarovar, and completing the Mount Kailash Kora was an experience that I will always treasure. Despite the high altitude and difficult conditions, the journey was made much easier and more enjoyable because of the excellent support from our team.

A very special mention goes to our tour guide Kunchok. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and caring throughout the entire journey. He always made sure that everyone was comfortable and informed about what was happening. His knowledge of the region, local culture, history and spiritual significance of the pilgrimage added so much value to our experience. Kunchok was always approachable and ready to help whenever we needed him. His calm and positive attitude gave us confidence, especially during the more challenging parts of the Yatra.

I would also like to give a big thank you to our bus driver, Sonam. Driving through the difficult mountain roads and high-altitude terrain is not easy, but Sonam handled everything very professionally and carefully. We always felt safe and comfortable during the long journeys. His friendly nature and helpful attitude made a big difference to our experience.

The breathtaking views of the Himalayas, the divine atmosphere of Mansarovar, and the sacred Mount Kailash Kora are memories that will stay with me forever. This was much more than just a trip—it was a deeply spiritual and unforgettable journey.

I am especially grateful to Kunchok and Sonam for their dedication, patience, kindness and professionalism throughout these 15 days. They both played an important part in making our Yatra such a beautiful experience.

Highly recommended for anyone planning the Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Yatra. If you are fortunate enough to have Kunchok as your guide and Sonam as your driver, you will be in very good hands.

Panchenjap is a great guide. This is my 2nd trip with Tibet Vista. He definitely helped this round to be better. Although due to weather we had challenges, he was able to pull together what was available and provided us with a great experience.

i joined a 13day tour to Mt Kailash to do a kora around the mountain,tour started 20th july 2026 I was never copied into the daily updates via phone as i joined the tour on the day of leaving and did not know about this form of communication the guide spoke english but never provided daily updates on the bus.day one lhasa to shigatse spent 13 hrs on the bus left hotel 9am arrived shigatse 10pm was advised that food would be available once we arrived at shigatse not so no where open at 10pm same issue the following day 13 hrs on the bus got to the ebc bus station 10pm in the evening no food available waited 2 hrs for a bus to the accommodation arrived 12 30 am got up 6 am to view MT everest what a fizzer mountain was fogged in so could not see it not that that worried me as i was not interested in seeing it any did all the tourist things on the 3 other trips to tibet i made day 3 more of the same long hrs on the bus more like a route march than a holiday.as stated i was not given any updates as to what was happening and the tour guide did not give daily updates did the kora day 1 okay ,day 2 mised where we were supposed to stay that night walked another 5 klms and paid for accommodation myself,only good thing about the kora guest houses were clean.arrived back in lhasa organised for the company to pick me up and take me to the airport agreed to by them said the car would be there at 11am at my hotel to take me to the airport never arrived luckily the was a tour guide from this company in the hotel lobby she organised a taxi to take me to the airport all good.i have done a couple of tours prior in tibet and have never had any issues with anything except with this company.i left lhasa on the 2/august and have asked for a refund for the hotel i payed for on the kora todays date is 1/oct as of yet i have receivd no refund from tibet vista tours only emails from someone called Kristin firstly telling me they can do it by paypal,secondly offered to double my cost of the accommodation i am still waiting for the refund to land in my account but do not hold out much hope.
The only advice i would give fellow travellers if you use this company make sure you do not spend 13hrs a day (for3days) on a bus,as this gives you no opportunity to explore the places you stay at as you leave early morning and arrive late at night for 3 daysi have advised them to make the tour a day longer and give epole time to look around where they are staying but i doubt it will happen,would i use this company again yes but would be adamant about spending excessive amount of times on buses and would want better communication from the tour guide,i also had an issue with this kristin but she refused to talk to me about it speaks volumes about tibet vista tours.

Nosotros perdimos 1 día de 7 en nuestro tour porque no sabían cómo organizarse para cumplir con lo acordado el último día.
Chonzom ha sido una gran guía, explicando detalladamente todo lo que sabía y todo lo que le preguntábamos y ha tenido un cuidado exquisito de todo el grupo. Ella sí se merece 5 estrellas, la compañía no.
