Dreadful experience. Order took weeks to come and I was forever on the phone chasing the order! Apparently it got cancelled at the couriers and they were not notified.

Ask for delivery tracking
good price, easy ordering, good delivery time - only minor comment was that I needed to ask for delivery tacking (I think because it was coming direct from their supplier rather than one of their stores).

Good morning,
Thank you for leaving us this 4 star review. Apologies for the confusion over the tracking. This is more than likely due to the item being sent to you directly from the manufacturer, rather than coming to us beforehand.
If you need anything else in the future, please let us know and we shall be more than happy to help.
Kind regards,
Phil.

I ordered from Drainage Superstore…
I ordered from Drainage Superstore specifically because I was told by a member of staff on the phone that they could deliver a day earlier than the estimated date. Based on that assurance, I hired machinery and arranged for a driver to be on site to unload the delivery.
On the agreed delivery day, I called for an update only to be told that the delivery was actually scheduled for the following day. I was then told that the earlier delivery date hadn't been passed on internally, but that because I hadn't responded to an automated email showing a different date, this was somehow my responsibility.
I put more weight on what I had been directly told by their staff than on an automated email. As a result, I was left hundreds of pounds out of pocket for machinery and a driver that I had arranged specifically around the delivery date they gave me.
I was offered £50 as an apology towards those costs. That £50 never arrived either.
Ultimately, my experience is that Drainage Superstore put very little weight on commitments made by their own staff. When their mistake cost me money, responsibility was pushed back onto me, and even the small amount of compensation they offered wasn't honoured.
Based on my experience, I definitely would not recommend them.

Good morning Tim,
I sincerely apologise for this! We do advise that delivery dates are estimated, and not to schedule work until items arrive. The reason for this is that unfortunately delays can happen that are out of our control. You should have been advised of this at point of order, and I am sorry if that conversation did not take place.
In regards to your refund, I have raised this on our system for finalisation from our accounts team. Once approved, this shall be with you within 3-5 working days.
Once again, please accept my apologies. Our communication could clearly have been better.
If you need any further assistance please let me know.
Kind regards,
Phil.

Delivery much slower than advertised
Delivery was not completed by advertised date. Customer service team did not respond to my email asking for this to be resolved and querying the extortionate delivery fee that had been charged for a service that was well below standard.

Good Morning,
I do apologise for the delay in your order arriving and for you not receiving any response to your email.
I can see your order was placed on a Saturday so would have been processed on Monday to be dispatched for next day delivery to you. It appears the delay was with DX according to the tracking information they attempted delivery on the Wednesday but could not access the address and redelivered to you on the Thursday. I do apologise this was not within the timeframe that the item was expected however our lead times are estimated as unfortunately delays can happen unexpectedly.
With regards to your email not being responded to I have reported this to the customer service team to be looked in to so this can be investigated as to why this happened.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this.
Kind Regards
Samantha

More Lies.
A full refund was issued when I cancelled on the phone. I was told the refund will be in my bank in 3 to 5 working days. Which I worked out to be Monday 10th August.
Guess what, no sign of my money and it’s now Thursday. More lies Phil.
Be aware of the company, they sell non existing products to keep your money in their bank account for as long as possible.

Good morning Gareth,
I am sorry that your refund is not with you yet. This refund has been approved by us, and is in the process of being refunded to you.
Apologies for any miscommunication - the refund request was made during your conversation during my colleague, however we needed confirmation from the manufacturer that the order was indeed cancelled. I am sorry if this was not communicated clearly, but the refund has since been authorised, and is now in the hands of the banks.
If I can help further with anything, please let me know - and please accept my apologies for the miscommunication.
Kind regards,
Phil.
