While the course I took was very good, Domestika's business practices are deceptive. The courses are clearly marketed at a teaser rate of 99 cents "cancel any time". Then, when you enter payment information they charge you in advance for a one year subscription. But they don't let you KNOW they've done that until the legal 30 days is up. If you try to back out your payment information, there is no means to do that. ONLY to change payment information. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS.

When purchasing a course, they deceitfully hide a subscription option in your basket. If you don't see this because it says £0 and complete the purchase, they will later charge you an additional £100 for a subscription unless you notice and cancel it yourself.

Despite reaching out to request a cancellation (straight away after seeing the money taken from my bank account) and a refund, they have refused to address the issue and they do not have any customer support system, just an AI chat box.

This deceptive practice is a scam designed to exploit those who don't notice the hidden charges. Avoid Domestika at all costs! I wish I had seen all the negative reviews across the internet before buying a course.

SCAM I bought a course and they automatically signed me up for a year subscription that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. Domestika took all oft he sudden via my bank account 99,90€ for a subscription called Domestica plus“, which I never ever ordered.

Beware of this online site that only scams people.
I made a purchase of a Marketing course a month ago and now, without my authorization they have charged me 110,72 US$. At the time of purchasing the course it did NOT state ANYWHERE that a trial for Domestika Plus was also included and that you were then charged for the annual subscription.
They refuse to refund money for a subscription that I did not purchase and did not enjoy BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT IT.
It has not only happened to me. There are already Facebook groups with more than two thousand people affected, signatures of people demanding their money back, threads on X, etc.
They are shameless and take advantage of people!!!!

They are knowingly using dark practices to bait then charge customer's for yearly plans they did not realize they were signing up for. They know exactly what they are doing & are likely trying to make some money before they fold. They have people's payment info & there is no way to remove it once you are in their system/enrolled in the yearly plan.

@Domestika ha sido una plataforma de distribución de cursos emblemática, pero últimamente la nueva dirección un de "dark pattern" para obtener dinero fácil.
Te explico, por favor lee todo el mensaje, merece la pena.
Primer cuidado:

Cuando compras un curso con descuento te "cuelan" una suscripción "gratuita" (solo por 30 días) de Doméstika Plus cuando compras un curso, si no cancelas antes de 30 días te cobrarán una suscrición anual de 100 euros.
Presta mucha atención y cancela lo antes posible.
Segundo cuidado (y este es mi caso):

Cancelé mi suscripción a Doméstika Plus DENTRO DEL PERÍODO de 30 DÍAS pero, seguramente por un fallo de su sistema, no se registró la cancelación y me cobraron el importe de la suscripción anual (100€).
Y en ese momento comienza un proceso terrorífico.
a) No tienen teléfono de atención al cliente.
b) El soporte interactivo responde con el mismo texto ya creado que dice que "es posible reembolsar el dinero de la suscripción solo durante el período de prueba gratuito, de lo contrario, después del pago, no se devolverá".
c) Por supuesto esa no es la respuesta a mi caso particular (error en el cobro por fallo de su sistema).
d) Todas las formas de contacto que aparecen en su app y en su web son atendidas por robots que siempre dan la misma respuesta.
Obviamente todo está preparado para cobrar los 100 euros, porque eso podría evitarse con cualquiera de estas opciones:
* Un teléfono o un chat (no solo atendido por "inteligencia artificial") que respondan a casos concretos.
* Que en lugar de aplicar la cuota anual (100 euros) aplicaran una cuota mensual (8,33 euros) haciendo que el perjuicio sea menor y dando oportunidad de bajas después del primer mes.
ES MUY IMPORTANTE TENER EN CUENTA ESTO
Documenta muy bien tu cancelación porque si no lo haces será imposible denunciar el problema a la Policía o a tu Banco.

They offered a FREE month, but after the free period ended, I was charged $109.99 without any notification.

It's unreasonable. Anyone can overlook a renewal, especially when they don’t use the platform daily.

They definitely play this game, and it’s disgusting.

BE WARNED. This is absolutely THE WORST online experience I have ever had. Domestika will sell you a single course for a small amount of money but without telling you will also sign you up for a year's subscription (over £90) and then ignore any attempt to contact them for a refund. They will take that money without your knowledge or consent. Paypal will not help you get a refund, so please don't fall into this trap.

Stay away if you don't want to get scammed. They stole over £90 from my bank account. Very shady practices. Their support is virtually non existent and they won't give the money back. They also blocked me on social media when I tried to contact them that way.

I was charged for a £90 yearly subscription that I did not know was going to happen, I don't like the way I was made to 'automatically' subscribe without properly knowing I feel this is not the way a professional service should work and they make it very difficult to speak to anyone about this, I feel this is unfair practice.

Domestika have charged me for annual subscription I didn't ask and wasn't notified at any time. Without any refund option. PayPal refused to refund as well. This is a fraud.

Domestika have upgraded my account to a plus account. Took money from my PayPal account. PayPal will not refund. Is this fraud.

I discovered that my account had been debited over £90 without my permission. I have been in touch several times only to be sent a link to something that gives me the option of getting an invoice. No refund. I didn't opt in for Domestika plus and so I regard this as the illegal theft of money from my account.

Dopo un approccio non proprio positivo dovuto alla inesperienza di ragazze di un call center generico, ho trovato viceversa nel personale specifico di DOMESTIKA e in particolare della Signora Elisa la massima competenza e la massima disponibilità a risolvere i piccoli problemi segnalati

Da un contatto dal vostro call center mi avevano promesso una cifra molto allettante, poi la fregatura alle fatture che mi sono arrivate niente di come avevano promesso costi esorbitanti. Un consiglio evitate di stipulare contratti con questa società voto - sotto zero

Sono stupita che Domestika affidi la sua assistenza ai clienti a persone così poco professionali come Andrea.
Ho avuto problemi di posta elettronica con un account e ho dovuto contattare Domestika non con indirizzo di posta con cui mi sono registrata (non funzionava appunto) ma con il mio account personale (non con un account a caso eh...). Oltre a scrivermi che non fanno assistenza nella mia lingua (bastava fare un clic su google translate se avessero avuto voglia di lavorare!!) mi avvisano pure di non scrivere più volte all'assistenza (ma quandomai???)
Sicuramente la prossima volta che vengo contattata in modo ineducato sarà un piacere disiscrivermi a Domestika.

In una mia recensione passata avevo scritto che la mia esperienza con il gestore in oggetto era negativa, non so se per il prossimo futuro Domestika si riabiliterà e darà ai suoi clienti un servizio più consono, sò di certo che dopo essere contattato da una gentile operatrice di Domestika, mi sono stati resi degli Euro a fronte di quello che io avevo pagato e per il quale mi ero lamentato; mi è stato detto che la colpa non era di Domestika ma dell'agenzia di cui si erano serviti per la ricerca clienti. A fronte di quanto sopra devo ringraziare sia l'operatrice che Domestika

Sono stata contattata da domestika luce e gas, dicendomi che avevo diversi contratti aperti e che quindi ero una persona inaffidabile e che quindi loro mi avrebbero chiuso tutti questi contratti attivi e mi avrebbero fatto un nuovo contratto loro. Premetto che sono stata 43 anni con Iren, comunque a quel punto devo dire che stupidamente mi sono spaventata e quindi ho accettato il cambio di contratto . Nel pomeriggio sono stata contattata come anche gli altri fanno da un operatore che voleva sapere se ero stata io a ad accettare il contratto, ho detto di sì ma che non volevo assolutissimamente passare con loro perché mi sono sentita imbrogliata. L'operatore mi ha annullato i contratti e pensavo di essere tranquilla. 7 ho chiamato la ragazza che mi aveva proposto al contratto dicendole che recidevo perché quello che mi avevano detto non era assolutissimamente vero, a quel punto mi è stato riferito che non potevo recedere E che avrei dovuto pagare almeno le prime due bollette perché dal giorno dopo Io ero già cliente loro con le mie utenze attive cosa che invece non era assolutissimamente Vera anche perché per stipulare un nuovo passaggio ci vuole dai 30 ai 60 giorni quindi ho avuto un'accesa discussione con loro minacciandoli di andare per via legali, nonostante tutto lei continuava.
Ho chiamato domestica al numero fisso di Verona anche perché non esiste un numero verde per dire quanta caduto l'operatore è molto gentilmente mi ha accettato il diritto di ripensamento e lui stesso ha confermato che non era possibile che il mio contratto Era attivo il giorno dopo quindi l'operatrice era assolutissimamente in cattiva Fede. Per essere più tranquilla Ho chiamato il mio gestore dando ordine che nessuna richiesta di disattivazione fosse accettata da domestica perché mi avevano fatto fare il contratto mettendomi paura.tutto questo è successo al 6 di novembre al pomeriggio o disdetto il martedì ho telefonato l'operatrice e ora stiamo a vedere cosa succede tra qualche giorno ri telefonerò per essere sicura. Non so e non credo che sia domestica che lavora in questo modo ma forse vissero da alcune persone dei call center comunque sia ho scritto questa recensione per avvisare chiunque venisse contattato da domesticka dicendo che ha dei contratti aperti e che quindi bisogna chiuderli di non cascarci perché non è vero.
