WARNING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS: I was charged £269 for a Domestika Plus renewal that I did not intend to renew, and I did not receive clear advance notification of the charge.

Domestika, please refund my £269 and resolve this complaint immediately.

Total skam! Jag har varit kund jättelänge och köpt kurser för bra enstaka priser men senast jag signade upp mig blev jag bunden till en prenumeration som INTE VAR TYDLIGT att jag signade upp mig på. 300 euro draget från mitt kort (3400 sek) och min månad är förstörd.

De vet EXAKT vad de gör när de lurar folk, kolla bara på alla kommentarer här utan att de tänker ändra någonting. Jag hoppas karma ger dom vad de förtjänar.

Domestika snyder folk, jeg købte et malerkursus for 0,54USD kun 3,54 kr for en undervisningsfilm. Da jeg havde betalt lykkes det mig ikke at finde filmen. Her en måned efter ser jeg at der er trukket 342,50 USD 2267,50kr fra Domestika for noget jeg ikke får. Jeg aner ikke hvordan jeg kan få mine penge igen, og vil de trække det hver måned eller 1 gang om året, aner jeg ikke. Jeg må jo spærre mit kort så det ikke sker igen for det har jeg bestemt ikke råd til. Kan nogen oplyse mig om hvad jeg kan gøre? Der er ingen måder jeg kan finde til at kontakte dem på. Det er bare så træls

This is a scam. I was charged $185.99 after buying a course. Please don't go near this company.

There are too many AI-based tutorials. More recent courses are missing, especially in 3D: no Twinmotion, D5Render, old versions of Unreal Engine... Everything should be reviewed.

Scam site!

I had cancelled my subscription, but despite the cancellation, I was still charged for an annual subscription. I did not intend to renew and was surprised to see the charge.

I have contacted Domestika to explain that my subscription had already been cancelled and to request a refund. But domestika did not accept his mistake

I paid USD 346.58 on September 3, 2026 for a Domestika subscription, but I can no longer access the account because I do not remember the email address originally used for registration.

I have contacted Domestika support several times and provided all the information needed to identify the payment, including the exact payment date and the last four digits of my credit card.

My request is very simple: locate the paid subscription and associate it with my current email address so that I can access the service I have paid for.

Unfortunately, I continue to receive generic or automated replies that do not actually address or solve the problem.

I am not asking for complicated assistance. I simply want access to a subscription that has already been paid for, and I would appreciate a real response from a member of the support team rather than another standard message.

I hope Domestika will finally review my case manually and resolve it.

$329 subscription charge and no human response

On July 28, 2026, I was charged $329 for Domestika Plus. I was not aware that the subscription would renew for this amount.

I contacted Domestika immediately after seeing the charge and requested a refund. At the time, the payment was still pending. I have not used any courses, Plus credits, or subscription benefits since the charge.

I have contacted support multiple times, but after more than a week I have only received generic/automated responses and no proper review of my refund request.

I am simply asking Domestika to have a human review my case and refund the $329 charge.

I will update this review if Domestika contacts me and resolves the issue.

€370 taken from my account. Stay away.

I am absolutely furious.

I was charged €370 for an annual Domestika Plus subscription that I did not knowingly agree to.

I never used Domestika Plus. I never watched a single course. I never downloaded anything. I never used any of the benefits. Yet €370 was taken from my account.

When I contacted customer support, I didn’t get a proper investigation. I got automated replies instead of someone actually dealing with my complaint.

Because of this charge, I’ve had to change personal plans and I’m now fighting to get my own money back.

I’ve opened a chargeback with my bank, I’m reporting this to consumer protection authorities, and if necessary I’ll take legal action.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that you do not subscribe to Domestika. Don’t create an account expecting reliable customer support. There are many other learning platforms with transparent subscription policies and better customer service. I would not trust this company with my money again.

Horrible sneakly company who must have taken lessons from the grifting lying President DJT. Don' t fall for the 99 pence offer of a course as it will cost you dearly and they make it impossible to get a refund. Would love my £278.49 returned and will continue to make every one aware of their underhand tactics.

Total scam!! I bought a 1 dollar course and then discoverd that i was charged $199 for an anual suscription. I am usually cautios whan i take a free trial but this wasn't the same, They just charge you for a year! not a month but a hole year. I've wrote them whit my claim but they only send authomatic replies!! just want everybody to know and never buy a course again!

SUPER SCAM, I am so so dissapoint!!! I share the same situation as many people writing here, they have charged me 300€ when I just bought a single course for 1,98€. They don’t even answer properly, they just send you to the termes conditions link and steal your money!!!!!

I am claiming on California department of justice, and into the FTC Federal Trade commission, I have nothing to loose, I will report to every possible agency

You are intentionally misleading customers by advertising an offer and then adding a yearly subscription without explicit consent. This constitutes deceptive and unethical business practices.

Total scam...signed up paid for course to see what was like as Im childrens art teacher and thought would just order more based on the first one just had €300 taken out of my account for year subscription.and whats worse is they are offering year subscription package at half price online. They also do monthly subscription but these scammers go in for yearly subscription because its in the fine print . DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY COURCES NO MATTER HOW CHEAP OR HOW GOOD YOU THINK THEY MIGHT BE. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Absolutely disgusting!! It's such a pity I did not read this before, but I did not know that I would become yet another victim in their thievery.

I purchased a $1.99 online video course over 18 months ago, since then no other contact.
They then use my paypal account to STEAL $363.15 *(£280.77) on Dec 30th 2025.
My bank (in the UK) has clawed back the payment - but now Paypal are threatening me with debt collection agencies - they accept no responsibility.
Domestika do not respond.
Both PayPal and Domsetika should be avoided at all costs.

I would give them no stars if I could or a negative rating. My bank caught a really high charge to my account in Canada. My breath was knocked out. I was so grateful that my bank recognized that this company and this charge was problematic and did not let it go through. I have never had a company attempt to defraud me before and this was a shock. I fear that they may do this again as I may have paid for a small cheap course through another visa card, but when I contacted the company they sounded hurt and I feel it is all an endless run around and I fear more corrupt behaviours as they still have my information.

Como ya todos saben Domestika es una estafa , tienen un sistema confuso donde te dan un mes de prueba de Domestika plus y luego te cargan un año de la suscripción sin avisar por $250 usd , peroa todo el que le haya pasado esto los invito a llenarles el correo de peticiones de devolución y comentar sus videos de yotube advirtiendo a las futuras victimas sobre esto.

On December 10, 2025, I purchased one course from Domestika and paid a total of 49 TL for this transaction. The description of the transaction reflected on my credit card statement was "Order C5110**19T33503436". During the purchase, I only made payment for this single course and did not consent to any subscription or recurring payment.

However, on January 10, 2026, I noticed an unauthorized deduction of 6,400 TL from my credit card by Domestika under the code "Order C5158**62T33959279". Despite the requirement for at least 7 days' prior notification as stated during the initial purchase, I received no email or SMS notification whatsoever. Additionally, I provided no written or verbal approval for this payment.

While Domestika presents itself as a platform offering affordable knowledge and education to people, I believe this practice of high-amount, unauthorized, and un-notified collections under the guise of low-cost course sales misleads and victimizes users. The claim of providing education at affordable prices is overshadowed by such unfair practices, completely eroding our trust. Many Turkish academics, scientists, artists, and experts in their fields share knowledge on this platform, yet such practices tarnish their credibility and cast their efforts under the shadow of misguided commercial policies.

I absolutely do not accept this collection, which occurred without my approval, knowledge, or consent. Moreover, it is both unethical and victimizing to make such a large deduction when I haven't even watched the courses I initially purchased.

I demand the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized transaction from my credit card and the full refund of 6,400 TL as soon as possible. Otherwise, I expressly state that I will initiate legal proceedings and exercise all my legal rights.
