This service is appalling. They took over two days to acknowledge the tests had arrived and then took over two days to send the result! We were 3 in our party and two of the results arrived 24 hours after the other which oblilged us to postpone our travel plans. Avoid this service if you can.

My day 8 test was arrived 4 days later and they sent me back as positive. I've been tested twice before and twice after day 8 and all of 4 was negative. Now I have to spend 18 days for nothing and my household too. Very disappointed and I'm not recommend for anyone!!!

Update: Day 8 result has been received on Day 13 at 11pm.

I have been looking for GOV.UK complaint procedure as there should be one if the Day 2 and Day 8 testing is required by government. So there is no complaint form anywhere.

10 year old child is 11 days on quarantine now. On Day 8 the test has been posted first thing in the morning. Today - no sign of test - apparently Royal Mail fault. Considering they will receive test tomorrow and perform test day after - the quarantine will take at least 13 days.

I can’t understand why this company is recommended on government website if clearly the procedure doesn’t work. I am glad we haven’t opted for Test To Release as I would have been even more annoyed.

Only received my day 8 test results more than 3 days after posting my test kit to the lab. Customer service was reachable by phone & they claimed that they received it late because of a Royal Mail delay. They don't scan the tests in as having arrived until it suits them, so their turnaround time is a blatant lie (and runs counter to the government's guidance). This makes me think this is at least a partial scam as they're clearly taking on way more tests than they can process. There's no governmental complaints procedure so they get away with the scam! Outrageous.

Completely disorganized and chaotic. When one of our group did not receive the video training and recoding link it was a complete nightmare trying to obtain support. They are clearly overwhelmed because their processes are disorganized.

Wouldn't recommend this gov web site waiting four days for day 2 results and I still haven't received day eight results, they say results in 24 /48 hours, I have sent an email about day eight results no reply

Edit: I have now updated my rating as I have finally had contact and my issue is now resolved.

Absolutely appalling service, tried calling and email to resolve an issue with no answer. They have even changed their 'contact us' section on the website to exclude general enquiries. I wish i had read these reviews before engaging with this company.

My experience with dna workplace was not too bad. Got test kits on time. Well before testing days.

First test result(day 2) came back in the 24 hours since the lab got the package (tracked the Royal Mail).

Second test(day 8) result came back with a slight delay. I received it in the evening of day 11th of my quarantine.

Given that the price is cheaper for £30-40 than other I’d give them 4 stars. Emails, links, test kits and even reply for my email were on time.

Please do not use this company.
I did not receive my tests and did write them about the problem. I never received a reply unfortunately.
It saddens me. I spend 170 pound and had to do an on-site test with a different company. If they got back to me fine but nothing. They cannot be held accountable it seems, you can not reach them. So they received 170 euro without having to do a test.

I had similar experience as the other customers. I am on my day 12 and no sign of result. Already lost work due this company. Please don't use this at all. Find a better company

Wish I had read some reviews before spending £170 with this company. Sent my Day 8 kit early morning on 13th so that it gets collected the same day and here we are on 17th and there's no sight of my test results. I am on my Day 12 of the quarantine and cannot leave home until I get a negative test result. Beware and avoid them at all costs.

I chose to do the day 5 test (test to release) so that I could be free on day 6. Unfortunately my testing kit did not arrive until the end of day 5 - so there was no way I would be getting my results back in time to be out on day 6. A colleague and myself had already found from our day 2 testing that sending it back with the DNA workplace pre-paid labels it takes two days for the test to even reach their lab and then 24-48 hours to get your results - it can take 4 days to get results back! So when it was the end of day 5 and I received my testing kit I calculated that it could be day 8 or even day 9 to get my 'test to release' results back - so I decided to pay and use another company to do my test to release.

Just before lunch on day 5 I made an appointment with good body clinic (they have testing locations all over England), I got an appointment early afternoon on the same day and had my results emailed to me at 3.52am the next morning (day 6) They are an exceptional company. It cost 155 pounds but this is significantly cheaper than other companies offering the same test to release service.

My colleague got their day 5 test to release results back on day 8...(however, there was bank holiday during this 8 days)...
It is a significant amount of money to be paying for these tests and unfortunately the service is very erratic and slow!

Don't book any test with them!
I wish to see those review before I purchased my tests.
Government should properly check what companies are they recommening!

As person before me I didn't receive my day 2 test recults yet. I just my day 8 test 24 hours before with no results of day 2nd...no answer for mails requests! Absolutely joke not customer service!

No answers to my emails or calls.

I´m a key worker and I need my results to go to work on Monday.
This kind of tests should not be in hands of private companies. It is clear how incompetent they are.

I wish I had read the other reviews too! I booked with DNA workplace my day 2 and 8 test, as well as test and release. I am at day 5 today of my quarantine and it's been all wrong since the beginning:
- Day 2 test: I have received this test at 6.30pm on the day I was supposed to take the test (even though I booked it 7 days before...). So I had to take the test quickly (as you are supposed to take the test on the 2nd day the very latest). Their instruction were very poor about how you should take the video (even though they clearly state that the video is crucial for a successful test). I tried to contact them, but being so late already in the day, I took the test. To this day (3 days after), I still haven't received my results, and am sure the video I took was wrong...

- Test and release. I received my kit on day 4 for test and release. In order to get the results asap, and have the chance to go outside again early, I took the test 1st thing this morning (on day 5). I made sure I took everything on video to ensure they were happy with it, and sent back the test at 7.30am. 2 hours later, I receive instructions as to how to shoot the video (why did they send me the instructions at least a day before???!!!)

I really don't trust this company. Do they even have a lab? The UK government should definitely be more picky into which lab they choose....

Received the kit for Day 2 of quarantine after coming back from my father's funeral in india
This is hugely disappointing to pay for leaving UK a sum of 200 and then again another 200 for these cheap test kits which cost hardly 10 quid in India...which is where these UK labs are getting it

Over 48 hours, still no result. Tried to call, they disconnect the line after 5-10 m ins of waiting. No response on emails either.

They are yet to send day 2 results I booked for a relative despite it being 8days since they were posted off. Customer support seemingly don't exist. Call them up -on hold until the call just drops out. Don't use this company.

Diabolical! Paid over £400 for two quarantine packages, the first result should take upto 48hrs actually took 10 days the day 8 results have never arrived!!! Tried calling and numerous emails never replied 😒 our quarantine period was on hold because of their incompetence. Eventually on day 12 we got through on the phone no reason for delay offered and told despite the fact our results hadn't arrived they were negative and we didn't need a confirmation!! Like we are mind readers !!! Don't use this company they are totally useless, why the gov uk website approves them is beyond belief. Don't waste your money....

I ordered 2 tests for day 2 and 8
Only one arrived! I tried to call them and I sent emails, but no reply! Tel. lines busy! My daughter sent her 1st test and still no result. What a shame. She is a teenager and I am abroad. No assistance.
How this company could be on the list of approved providers when I read the other comments?
