Stupidly I ordered from Couture-Moda without checking reviews, as it is clear from numerous Trustpilot reviews that this is a recurring pattern in how this company handles refund requests — by ignoring customers who are rightfully due their money, lying and dragging it out, hoping people will get fed up of contacting them. I think someone just sits all day copying and pasting the same replies to disgruntled customers. The majority of reviews are rated 1 out of 5, with many people wishing there were an option to rate you zero.
I have informed them that I am in the process of reporting their business practices to Trading Standards, I want them to stop doing this to innocent people and treating us like idiots.

I never a full refund. The saga started in May 2025. The company is difficult to contact. Eventually, they sent me an address. I used the Royal Mail to return my purchase. Couture Moda said they had not received it & ask me to check with the R Mail. Everything was kosher returning the item & quite simply Couture Moda didn’t pick the order up, from customs. Couture Moda implied the package was 'lost'. The Royal Mail found it in customs waiting to be picked up, & sent it back to me.
Very upset with Couture Moda. The quality is terrible & sizing runs very small but, you know, maybe I would have bought a size bigger if I had got the full refund & returns were easier.

Couture Moda. Smarten up. Improve your service, refund us fully, and apologise. Otherwise, as with do many other people, I agree on:
"DO NOT BUY FROM COUTURE MODA".

DO NOT BUY from this place - they are selling poor quality defective clothing and the return process is a nightmare - they do not refund and they do not refund the extortionate shipping fees. They should not be permitted to trade - misleading & poor quality in every way.

I wish I could give them 0. The dresses were awful! Barely fit and absolutely hideous. They also wont process a refund giving me excuses like the dresses are in custom or there website is undergoing maintenance. Dont use!! So unprofessional!

I donot want to give them 1 star as well. I have spent so much money on sending the cheap quality item back. Now they want half of the money I have spent on the ite saying Custom is not releasing the item. So disappointed.

Ordered some clothes, which were terrible quality (and not cheap). Tried to send it back (following instructions given) and had to cover the shipping fees to China, and sent them the tracking number, only for them to say its being "held at customs" for over 3 months. Lost all the money. The lied and said they had issued a 50% refund to my credit card and it didn't appear. They said they had given me store credit. They did not. Then they told me to contact my credit card company(!!!) but refused to provide proof of a refund. Total scam. DO NOT USE

Do not buy from this site . I ordered shoes from them which never arrived ,after numerous emails they offered me a voucher or money back less 25% (restocking fee) . I still have not received my money back.

I have reviewed this company before and I am still fighting to get a refund since April. They have stated I can have a refund and admitted the goods were substandard! They said they have paid me my refund, but to date, it has not been received into my bank. I have now got in touch with a solicitor/Trading Standards UK/Citizens Advice, so hopefully this company will be stopped from conning people out of their money in the UK. They will reply apologising and they understand but its all a front, a scam! Do not waste your money!

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. It’s a sham. I purchased two pairs of orthopaedic trainers . The second pair was half price. I paid circa £70. When they arrived they were too small so I went through the process of returning them. Cost me £30 back to China. Then they wanted more money as stuck at customs. I refused to pay and they offered 50% refund . I took the refund and guess what I DIDN’T get the money back. I’ve chased with my bank and they haven’t received it. It’s a con and I’ve lost near a £100 . I’m going to report them to the Financial Conduct Authority as it looks like a scam. If they are trading in the UK then they should be regulated. I’m going to see if there are any checks I can do .DONT PURCHASE FROM THEM .

Absolute scam, DO NOT BUY OF THIS WEBSITE. My order came and the quality was awful, I then decided to send my items back and it cost me another £35 for the shipping. The item then got returned back to me after about 5months (I reckon the address to return the items is fake) and obviously no money back. So gutted to have lost so much money. Do not buy of this website please!

I honestly do not recommend it and I warn you.I ordered a dress that looked beautiful in the photo, which was far from reality. I decided to return it because it was too big and ugly. I followed the instructions and sent it back, where I had to pay 20 pounds for shipping to China. It was in June... I haven't received a refund yet, and what's moreI have to pay customs duty because my parcel was detained.. I am reporting a dispute to my bank TSB. This is very unfair to the customer, but I will not give up.

Been fighting for the refund they keep saying has been sent to my bank, which hasn't. I've spoken to my bank twice and still nothing.
Like others I sent my order back and it's "stuck in customs".
I stupidly accepted the 50% credit note and 50% refund but the way it's going, I think I may have to do a charge back on my card for the full amount.
Can't say anymore than avoid them.

Honestly I would never use them again! They don’t operate like other online retailers & it’s now looking like you never receive a refund on the goods you order if they need to be returned!! I’m expecting my package back soon as returned undelivered!!! These dresses cost me just over £200 then a further £36 to return them to China! :

I’m sorry I’m still not happy with this response & I feel you as a company are not giving the correct information to your customers when they need to return an item. It seems a customs return form needs to be completed & attached to the outer packaging otherwise it won’t pass through customs!

From the reviews I can see all your customers are saying they’re following the steps you provide & all the packages are being held in customs then eventually returned back to the sender.

I’ve been in touch with Royal Mail & they have advised me my parcel is likely to be returned to me on 21st October 2025!

You’re fully aware these return packages are being held in customs & probably unlikely to ever get released & you’re providing the same reply to all your customers. It’s not fair at all on your customers. I’ll be putting this reply in my review.

What are you going to do about stopping all the returns being held & unreleased from customs so your genuine customers can have their refunds they are entitled to please?

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered 2 dresses which were nothing like the photo on their website. They looked like rags. The company is in China and the website doesn’t mention this at all.I paid extra for tracking services to return these clothes in July and I am still waiting for a refund. I have now been told that the parcel is in customs and I will have to pay another charge to release the parcel to the company, which I find unacceptable . The company have offered me a 50% refund and a 50% credit note. I do not want a credit note as I will never buy from them again.

The products are nothing like the pictures, awful quality and a terrible return service. I have been waiting for almost 2 months for a refund. Unlike the policy they claim online this has not been easy and I think it is all a total scam.

The company is a scammer!!! Be careful. I bought a blouse for £35, it turned out to be a cheap Chinese product. I wanted to return it and they wrote to me to return it to a Chinese address. I sent it and paid another £35. The parcel was stuck for several months because no one picked it up and it was returned to me. I do not recommend it!!!I have emailed you several times to no avail. And Ms. Oliwia writes the same comments to everyone.

It's wild how misleading the photos are to the actual product. They steal images from other official websites and reuse them on their website. The quality of the clothing I got was appalling, with loose threads everywhere and the thinnest material.

Avoid!!! Avoid!!! Avoid!!! This has been the worst ever online shopping experience I have ever had.
Chelsea Boots looked great and were described as ‘leather’.
Paid my really hard earned money….then had to chase delivery as it took over 5 weeks and the tracking details showed the package was stuck in some Chinese port!!!!
They arrived in a loose bag. No box…and wait for this!!!…….they were plastic!!!!
Contacted them.
No refund.
Terrible, criminal service.

Utterly disgusting and had completely turned me off buying online from any retailer that is not UK based and well known.
