COSTWAY ARE SCAMMERS – Avoid at all costs!
I contacted Costway before ordering to confirm stock availability. Their customer service representative, Tiffany, assured me the air conditioning unit would arrive within 72 hours.
I paid £500 based on that promise. Over a week later, I still don't have it.
Every day I'm told it will be delivered "tomorrow," yet DX's tracking clearly shows they haven't even received the parcel from Costway. They're simply making false promises.
Customer service is completely useless. Every call goes to overseas agents who have no information and just repeat scripted responses. Their UK phone number is never answered.
If they'll lie before taking your money, don't expect anything better afterwards. Save yourself the stress and buy from a reputable retailer instead.

Avoid this company. Their customer service is not fit for purpose- and gave multiple excuses as to why my item never arrived. They even had the cheek to tell me to chase the delivery company, and " be patient". Well, I was for many weeks. But gave up and got a refund via Paypal. Dreadful. Should not be Trading.

I ordered a 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner at a discounted price. Two days later, I contacted the company to ask when my order would be dispatched, only to be told that my order had been cancelled.

What is concerning is that the item was still available on their website the following day, but at the full price. I asked why I had not been notified about the cancellation. If I had not contacted them myself to check the delivery status, I would never have known that my order had been cancelled.

Buyers should be cautious when dealing with this company. It appears that after accepting multiple orders at the discounted price, they decided to cancel them and continue selling the same stock at the higher full price, likely due to increased demand during the heat wave.

I intend to escalate this matter further and consider taking legal action as I believe consumer laws have been breached.

Cancelled my order claiming "no stock" – yet selling identical units at double the price!

I ordered 3 air-conditioning units from Costway during this heatwave at a great price. Shortly after, I received an email from "Joey" stating my order was cancelled due to being "out of stock" and offering a pathetic £15 voucher as compensation.

However, when I checked their website, the exact same 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with identical specifications is currently available and in stock – but now priced at double what I originally paid.

This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch. They accepted my payment, formed a contract, and are now cancelling purely to resell the same units at a higher price due to high demand. A £15 voucher is insulting and does not cover the extra £500 I would now have to pay elsewhere.

I have raised a formal complaint citing breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and will be escalating this to the Retail Ombudsman if they do not honour my original price.

Buyer beware: Do not trust Costway's "deals." If the price is good, they will cancel your order and relist it for double. Unethical business practice.

I purchased the 8 in 1 inflatable park for my disabled son that came with a blower. When my parcel arrived it was wet through dirty and the box was ripped open. It had a large label on it saying not to trample or damage but turned up in a terrible condition.the blower it’s self was dripping with water so I’ve been unable to check the product for faults. I requested a refund immediately threw TikTok and was told by COTSWAY that they’ve refused it immediately to cover their reputation (I have the messages stating they were closing it for this reason!!)but wanted to try and sort the problem out. I explained what had happened they started to resolve the issues and then someone else took over and there was 0 communication between the staff. First I was offered £67 back for the blower (which would cost me £110 to purchase again) and £12 for the tubes that are all split and broken. I was then asked to send the entire product back after 13 days of back and forth. What was brought to make life alittle easier for a Sen family has turned into a nightmare. I’ve been unable to use it at all. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!all they care about is money and their reputation NOT CUSTOMERS!!

Awful company recenyly bought a bouncy castle which stated it came with blower but was sent without as apparently it doesnt come with one they are purposely misleading customerd

Went directly to their website rather than Amazon, which will make them more money. However, took a lot longer to arrive and then they rejected my cashback claim

I ordered an outdoor bar in may this year it arrived on time but when I opened the box a vital part was missing from it I tried numerous times to get in touch with the uk customer services to no avail which is supposed to be open until 5 pm so unless this problem is resolved I am left dangling

My advice would be avoid this company.
I was due to get my furniture on Wednesday and it didn't arrive. I emailed to ask where it was but got no response. It finally turned up on Friday but only half of it arrived. When I finally got through to speak to someone they said they would pass it on to their customer service team. A few hours later I got an email suggesting I give it a few more working days to see if it arrives.
Terrible customer service and they use DHL as their couriers and they are also next to useless.

Do not order with them! You can see quality of products and they don’t have a good return policy. We ask for return of products and they said we can have 10% back and keep it! They don’t arrange collection so it will cost us more to us than to them.
We are stuck with items we don’t want that are rubbish. The quality is awful

The item is well described, looks pretty in the photo, and most of all I can pay in installments. Can't wait to receive this beautiful office chair.

Purchased garden table and chairs through Debenhams. Only got table delivered as one of 3 items
After several emails got a responce saying listing was a error and its only a table. Explained its not what i ordered i was offerred £10 refund
I advised table is no good on its own they said they would pick it up ,give me a date if 20/5/26 and advised I need to be at home .
Took day off work to recieve a email at lunch time saying cant come today, not enough notice.
I feel deceived and robbed ,stay well away from these and Debenhams

No !!! i was asked to give more notice for collection. I suggested 8/06/26 this was confirmed by Debenhams. and this morning the replybby Costway from my review was they cannot arrange collection more than a week in advance try contact them on the 1/06/26.

They have misold me an item took my money left we with the unwanted item by making it impossible to return , cleary received my money by deception and making it stressful and difficult to get it back.
This has been going on 3 weeks and i do not believe will get sorted without legal intervention

Table was arranged for collection on the 1/06/26 and nobody showed. somone came on the 2/06/26 unplanned and i was not home .
I give up and cut my losses and kept the table i did not want

Now today they try to claim the trustpilot review i have left is intended for another company .
Another Deception this review is for this company obvioulsy we have been communicating about the purchase that they deceived me to buy .

Brought a shopping trolly from these on TEMU and the DHL delivery guy left it by my front door, i live it a block of flats fyi, then i get a notification that its been delivered to a collection point a far distance from my home, after work i went to this collection point to find it wasnt there and then go home no parcel there either, ive been back and forth with the costway and got nowhere, This situation is causing so much stress and anxiety i wish i had never ordered from them

Flat pack side table ordered Friday at 7.30p.m. Delivered Monday by 10.30.a.m. Order process and updates clear and true. Quality of product exceeded expectations.

I love the site. The goods are good quality and delivery is fast.

Product shown much larger in photos. Was tiny and pathetic in real life.

Reported the safety concerns on their product with photos on injured arm & product issues and requested for refund. Also repeatedly told them I had no way to find a printer in printing return labels and packing materials. Isn’t it seller’s responsibility to arrange collection at their own effort? They insist to arrange refund only after their warehouse can confirm receipt of the product return.

So far I have purchased two desks, two bookshelves, a coffee table and a small table and they all have transformed my study area.

Only 2 yrs old and the tractor has developed some faults. On/off switch replacement part unobtainable so I’ll need to create an alternative switch. Also, steering on the child’s sit on tractor has seized so something else to repair.
Cheap for a reason. I will not be purchasing any more from this company.

Update: I originally bought the item via your Amazon advert in Dec 2024 - Christmas present. I’ve already contacted customer service and was told parts are not available. So my original review stands.
