Coolcobanas makes an awesome product, and the company really stands behind its products. I have a few of their products, and they work great! Highly recommend you give their cabanas a try. You won't be sorry.

Their Chatbot is not reliable. They disclaimed responsibility for incorrect information given to me on their support “Chat” and refused to stand by what it said. Their customer service is poor.

I've seen these products being advertised for a few years now online and we finally bought one. We used it immediately for a beach trip and were very impressed! It held up nicely over a long weekend at the beach and was easy to setup, take down, and provided great shade. I was, however, disappointed that the high winds ended up bending the stake. I let customer service know and they responded within minutes and covered the cost of a new one which is being shipped to us now. THAT was very impressive and helps me confidently give a 5 star review for Cool Cabanas.

Ripped on second time at the beach, very poor stitching quality for a $300 canopy.

Customer service will not accept return, repair is at customers expense, return shipping (before they repair it) is also at customers expense... This is supposedly a premium brand and yet they treat customers like trash.

I have loved my Cool Cabana since 2023. I purchased it after seeing how well it performed on the Atlantic beach where I live, over the Shibumi Shade.

This review is about customer service. I ordered a Cool Cabana shade and a few days later they went on sale where I could save over $100 when buying two shades.
I originally wanted two but only ordered one, however when I saw the sale I reached out to customer service asking if they could honor the sale if I were to buy a second one and they did! The rep was so helpful and responded so fast and he did honor the sale! It was a pleasure doing business with you!

I love our Coolcabana! We live on Cape Cod so in the summer it's almost essential, in my opinion. It's easy to set up, and easy to break down. Will in customer service did a great job handling my minor complaint and gave me some input so that we can keep our Coolcabana in tip top shape for a long time to come.

I wanted to love this product. The design is thoughtful, the instructions are well written, and the concept is exactly what we needed for a beach trip. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from the moment we opened the box.

We purchased the Red Label series — the premium option at $300 — specifically for the heavier, higher-quality fabric. What we found upon first setup was a torn canopy where the stitching had completely given way at the front flap, along with multiple other areas of unraveling stitching throughout. This was straight out of the box, on first use, at the beach.

Customer Service: I sent photos and a detailed description. The initial response offered a free carry bag plus an $80 gift card, or a $40 refund — framed as covering the cost of a local seamstress repair. On a $300 premium product. That arrived damaged.

When I pushed back and asked about their return/refund policy, the tone shifted. I was told that the offer had been “a gesture of kindness,” and — remarkably — that if I chose to send the item back for a formal warranty assessment, there was a risk the team might deem the damage “misuse.” Misuse. Of a product I opened for the first time.

To be clear: I have photos of a brand-new canopy with a factory defect. I offered proof of purchase. The suggestion that first-time setup could constitute misuse is, at best, a mischaracterization — and at worst, a deliberate deflection designed to discourage a legitimate warranty claim.

Bottom line: For a brand that positions itself as a premium product and an official partner of the Melanoma Institute Australia, this level of quality control and customer service falls well short of what that reputation implies. A defective product is disappointing. Being made to feel like you caused the problem is something else entirely.

I hope this helps others set appropriate expectations before purchasing.

We have owned a cool cabana since 2022. On windy beach days it is consistently the only beach umbrella/tent that is still standing. It’s light weight and set up is so easy - I feel comfortable bringing it alone with my daughter if my husband can’t join us. My only issue was the bag dry rotted after 4 yrs- but cool cabana offers replacements on their site. Highly recommend to any beach goer!

We've had our CoolCabana for almost 10 years, problem free! The original travel bag was finally starting to look a little worn. Purchased their replacement bag, great quality, great fit! They were also able to quickly resolve an order error, my fault, no questions asked. Great service, great product!

We have had our CoolCabana for years and have loved it. Easy to put up and take down. Provides plenty of shade and has held up really well.

We were at the NJ Shore and a blast of high wind damaged one of the arms. I ordered up a replacement arm (very reasonable price btw) without measuring.

Well…. I ordered the wrong size. I sent a message to customer service on how to process a return. They told me not to worry about the return and issued a refund (for my mistake). Now that is 5-star customer service.

I have been using my Coolcabanas (I have 2; a large and medium) for about 5 years and I LOVE them! Today the bag strap that carries my medium one broke. I emailed the company to see if I could purchase a new bag. Within minutes I received a response back about how to get the new back and get it for free (covered under warranty I guess). Such great customer service as well as a great product. I tell EVERYONE about Coolcabanas any chance I get! Thank you for a great product!

Great customer service from cool cabanas.
There product is superior to others and lately I have seen many copycat product.
I live in Florida and use my cabana regularly ,has I go to my beach at least 4 times a week. Superior construction and ease of set up is a bonus. Will definitely buy again if my unit ever dies.
