We’ve been using Companion Animal Wellness for ongoing support with Ralph’s behaviour and have been seeing Laura, who has honestly been amazing.

Ralph can be quite a handful with his behaviour, so we were feeling a bit lost with what the right thing to do was. Laura has been so understanding and really took the time to get to know Ralph and understand what’s going on with him, rather than just giving us a generic approach.

She’s given us some really helpful, practical steps to start working on with him, and we’ve already seen some positive changes. It’s made such a difference having someone who understands him and can actually guide us through what we should be doing.

We’re still on our journey with Ralph, but we already feel so much more confident about how to help him. We’re really grateful to Laura and would absolutely recommend Companion Animal Wellness to anyone struggling with their dog’s behaviour. ❤️

I had a session with Holly yesterday and got so much information to help us help our dog. Lots of practical information and suggestions I could get on with straight away. Such a great service, Holly was friendly and understanding of our issue. I’ll be following up in the near future, thank you.

We have a rescue Springer Spaniel puppy.
She's a landshark and had aggression and resource guarding.
We had tried everything and was at the point of are we being fair having her?
Thank goodness for our insurance having free therapy sessions.
Must admit I was initially reticent.
How wrong I was.
Our therapist was understanding and was thoroughly knowledgeable which really helped.
Resources to reference were sent to us along with an action plan we all had to follow for consistency.
Weekly check ups were maintained with the same therapist and that really helped.
Our lives and our precious pups is so much better.
We have had dogs before but not this breed so we had to completely throw away what we knew and restart.
Our therapist was genuinely interested in our progress with other great suggestions and videos and resources.
We saw her yesterday on the video call and sometimes 20 minutes sometimes doesn't feel long enough but I like you can book an appointment last minute if its a bad day and have someone listen who genuinely wants to help rather than criticise and just make a list of suggestions that wouldn't work.
I like that we have no limit to the sessions and that there's someone i can reach out to almost immediately.
I cannot fault the service provided.
I'd highly recommend having Waggel and using the Companion Animal wellness which doesn't just cover behaviour but also nutrition.
Our fur baby is nearly a year old and thankfully thriving and happy and calmer, it's still a work in progress but with ongoing help I feel I'm able to provide the right way to make our lives much happier

Claire was really helpful and helped me to understand where the problem was coming from. All her advice was followed and great improvement happened. I still have work to do but now I feel on top of the problem not overwhelmed by it.

Excellent advice from Laura regarding our dog’s ongoing issue with our cat. This was my second appointment with Laura who is so easy to talk to. Her suggestions for future management with our dog are easy to incorporate into his routine and it’ll be interesting to see how his behaviour with our cat develops. Thank you Laura!

I had a one to one session with Holly Leake regarding my dogs reactvity. I found the session very informative and truly felt like i learnt something new about what to look for in my dog going forward. I will definitely recommend this service to anyone to learn about your dog.

I had a nutritional consultation with Lauren. She was brilliant. Lots of relevant questions were asked, she answered all of my questions, gave my a lot of useful tips/information. After the call I felt really confident in helping my dog get to his best weight, what that would be and how to get there in a healthy way for him. 10/10 would recommend this service.

Had our second appointment yesterday with Laura Blackledge-Smith and couldn't wait to tell her how much progress we'd made in such a short period of time. She was extremely knowledgeable on dogs carry trauma and her suggestions worked within 2 days. My dogs are back to living in harmony.

I loved how easy it was to book, the fact I could do it all from home as I can't travel. Although it's a free service with my Waggle insurance, it's definitely a service I would recommend to all my friends

Holly has been fantastic helping us with our reactive puppy. Her advice is practical, easy-to-follow and she's very easy to talk to. Her notes and diagrams that follow after each session have been a huge help too.

Spoke to Laura avout some issues I'm having with my dog, she was very thorough and offered up some great ideas. Very happy this is included with my Waggel policy!

Junior is an understanding and experienced behaviourist who is easy to share concerns and problems with, to then talk through the best solution for our puppy. He definitely deserves all five stars, helping us understand our dog’s viewpoint without judgement, and following up with a lot of information we really needed.

We've had a few sessions now with Debbie and she's been incredibly helpful and reassuring. We felt a bit overwhelmed as our dog started to become more anxious and reactive and not knowing how to support her best. We've got clear strategies now and are starting to see improvements. Great to have the support through Waggel insurance provision.
