CodeMonkey is such a great website that I love using in my classroom! There are some great features and they even have free ones like the Hour of Code which is amazing! I love how they make everything age appropriate and FUN! ◡̈ Definitely recommend!

My boys absolutely love CodeMonkey! As both a teacher and a parent, I appreciate how safe, easy to use, and educational it is. It teaches them the coding skills we were hoping for in a fun and engaging way. I highly recommend this fantastic program!

is there somethng lower than 1 ? This is a shady learing app. It highlighted FREE but wants you to pay before having access yet you can not delete your account by yourself . it give you the feedback 'something is wrong', thankfully I have not made paymen. My advice , do not sign up .

CodeMonkey has been an integral part of my K-5 computer science program since 2017 and is the hands down students' choice in every grade level. I loved the evolution to a more text-based format for my students who had been using colorful block coding. Over the years, I found the team at CodeMonkey to be responsive and interested in teacher input and feedback and many of the features I asked for early on have since been implemented. The on demand student access to video tutorials, the teacher access to solutions to every challenge in every component in the program, the ease of tracking student progress all make CodeMonkey the first kid-friendly (adults too!) coding software that I recommend to my colleagues. My kids loved creating their own challenges and games and the easy 24/7 access to their online accounts allowed them to share the excitement with their families! I would give more than 5 stars if it were possible!

Code Monkey is the best coding program I've ever used in my 15 years teaching computer science to elementary school students. All my 550 students from PreK to fifth grade love it. It's visual so my pre-readers can use it. The language can be changed so my ENL students can immediately join the fun in their home language. It's robust enough that my gifted & talented students are challenged. It provides excellent lesson plans and other teacher resources. Print the posters as large are you can and decorate your room. Well done, Code Monkey!

I use CodeMonkey with my K-5th grade students. My K-2 students use CodeMonkeyJr and learn about sequencing and loops. In 3rd grade they learn block coding with Beaver Achiever. The characters are very engaging. My older students use Coding Adventure where they take their knowledge of block coding up a level to learn Coffee Script. They never run out of activities. Also, as a teacher the platform provides lesson plans, solutions and shows student progress. In addition my multi-lingual students are able to be successful in their own language or use CodeMonkeyJr where they code using only arrows. We have used this platform for 8 years and love it.

CodeMonkey is a wonderful tool to use in introducing your child to the world of coding. Our girls love the challenge based lessons and how playful the levels of learning are. They did find some areas a bit slow or repetitive, but as parents we recognized the importance of mastering each skill fully before moving on to the next level. Overall, CodeMonkey seems to be the best option available to introduce coding to children that we have found.

I started a free trial tried to cancel immediately because my children didn’t like it and did not cancel. I’ve been on the line with them for hours now trying to get them to cancel this account like I’m text messaging a fake person. The software is glitchy, which is strange because it’s coding software. I believe this is part scam part someone’s great idea.

My K-2 students love CodeMonkey, especially the CodeMonkey Jr. and the Beaver Achiever courses! They are always asking me when they will get to do CodeMonkey next. It keeps them engaged while slowly increasing the difficulty of the target skill until they have mastered it! CodeMonkey instilled a love of coding in my students.

Free trial yeah right, a real free trial would not need payment details

My 2 kids have been learning to code on CodeMonkey for three years and they love it. There are courses for beginners and for more advanced students including pretty complex Python courses.

Both my classroom of 1st graders and my niece and nephew are obsessed with CodeMonkey! They love how it can start with their skill level and advance as they learn. I love watching them grow and figure out the different coding challenges independently.

I started an account and have paid for…
I started an account and have paid for 3 months. My child deleted the account and I was told it could not be reactivated. I've emailed them about a refund as I've only been using the platform for 1 week and have paid $80. So far no reply about the refund. It's a shame the customer service is letting the company down as the programme itself is good and my child love it.

I enrolled for free trial and didn't use at all and cancelled same day.

Still after few days I got email to confirm the account which I didn't do.

Now, my money got deducted - they need to more transparent and people should pay money for subscription and content , rather than such organisation charging via these means

Good product but poor customer service. There’s no way to reset your child’s progress so I emailed them to delete their account so I could recreate it. Instead they canceled my subscription. I had an annual subscription, used it for just a week, and they canceled the subscription and refunded only half the subscription cost. I tried contacting them over the next 3 weeks and several support agents replied but just left me hanging with no resolution. Ended up disputing the charge through my credit card. Won’t sign up again even though my kid enjoyed it, going to find an alternative.

Great product! my kid loves it and can't stop playing!
