Bad organisation
Organisation on the first day was terrible . We were told to arrive at 8.30. There was no one there until 8.45. Then we were told to wait outside in the street. At 9.10 someone took us to an annexe school. Not mentioned in the brochure but they had rented some rooms due to the amount of students. At this school we were waiting on the stairs to be directed to classrooms.
Lessons were supposed to commence at 9.00 am by this time it was 9.30. I asked to change from this annexe school because it was an horrible environment. Even the professors do not like it.
Because of this bad organisation I missed a day of lessons.
I had booked 50 plus and assumed that I would be with a similar age group but I was into a class with 9 teenagers. Apparently they can’t guarantee what group you will be put in but a mixture would be good.
I felt really uncomfortable as the age difference was around 50 years. Also the content of the lessons were not what I would have expected to be discussing. using VDMs, future technology - robotics. Recycling and the difference between XYZ generations.
Following my survey questionnaire the professor said that I should have booked a 50 plus. I did. The school says it makes no difference to which class you are placed in
There were quite a few people who were unhappy with organisation and class structure. The management is not interested

To clarify a few points regarding the organization: our confirmation emails indicate an arrival time of 8:45 am, at which time our team is present to welcome our students. Classes may then be directed to our annex classrooms, which are located a three-minute walk from our main facility, on the adjacent street. These spaces, which we rent year-round, serve as an extension of our school and are used throughout the year to offer our students a comfortable learning environment.
Our classes are organized by language level to ensure an effective learning experience for everyone. As we welcome adult students of all ages, some classes may include some younger adults. However, we are committed to maintaining an inclusive, respectful environment where all students feel comfortable and engaged.
We also regret if the topics covered did not fully align with your expectations. Our goal is to offer engaging and relevant themes for language practice, but we understand that not all subjects resonate equally with everyone. We will certainly discuss this feedback with our academic team to explore adjustments that may enhance the experience for future students.

Sophie enjoyed her 4 weeks in Antibes
Sophie enjoyed her 4 weeks in Antibes, doing the essential programme, there were trips, discos and visits to Nice and Cannes. Also allowed out, as 15 year olds to visit the area and explore as well as make friends. She also enjoyed swimming and also had small classes to enhance her knowledge of French. She is a very shy girl, so this was definitely out of her comfort zone prior to this, but the animators definitely helped make her feel at home.
She has said that it has helped her understanding of Grammar, hopefully this will help with her GCSE French exam in 2025. Sophie is looking forward to going again, as she had so much fun, instead of getting bored at home in the summer holidays.

Mi hijo estuvo 2 semanas en julio 2024 y lo que mejoraría es la comida por supuesto, mayor control de donde van los niños cuando salen solos, mejores actividades y más actividades por las tardes con los niños para que puedan ir acompañados y no estén solos y aburridos, la piscina era hinchable muy grande pero con gran cantidad de cloro y lejía. Y que NO se pueda fumar bajo ningún concepto y dentro del campus, cuando me queje me contestaron que hay padres que si permiten fumar a sus niños y que hacen lo que pueden. Según la ley francesa no se puede fumar en ningún recinto escolar, que sepan que me quejé hasta la embajada, donde le trasladé la estupidez de su respuesta.

Lamentamos mucho que la experiencia de su hijo en nuestro centro no haya sido completamente satisfactoria y agradecemos que haya tomado el tiempo de compartir sus comentarios. Tomamos en serio las sugerencias sobre la comida, la piscina, las actividades y la supervisión de los estudiantes, y trabajamos continuamente para mejorar estos aspectos.
Con respecto al consumo de tabaco, nos gustaría asegurarle que nuestra institución cumple plenamente con la legislación francesa. Aunque la venta de productos de tabaco y vapeo a menores está prohibida, su consumo no lo está de manera directa según la ley. El artículo L3511-7-1 del Código de Salud Pública de Francia establece que "está prohibido fumar en áreas de uso colectivo, especialmente en las escuelas y en el transporte público, EXCEPTO EN ZONAS EXPRESAMENTE RESERVADAS PARA FUMADORES". Por esta razón, hemos habilitado áreas específicas dentro de nuestras residencias para estudiantes de 16 y 17 años, que están claramente señalizadas y supervisadas para garantizar la seguridad de todos, especialmente en zonas cercanas al tráfico. Nuestro objetivo es gestionar estas conductas de manera segura, minimizando el impacto en los demás estudiantes.
Nuestra misión es ofrecer una experiencia de aprendizaje lingüístico enriquecedora en un entorno seguro y bien organizado, y sus comentarios son valiosos para ayudarnos a mejorar.

Language camp organized in Antibes-Horticole is not to be advised
This school and the camp organized in Horticole represented low level of quality as it comes to language education system, but above all the camp organization:
1. My 12-year-old daughter was left alone on a beach just because she was chatting with an older group at the time, when the animator and a responsible person for her group left
2. Teenagers, who could leave the camp independently, were informed about the busses returning to the campsite at a certain time. When a few of them arrived it turned out that the animals decided it was too hot to stay on the beach as they planned and changed the busses return time without informing the rest of the group, so wasn't on the beach. They had to take a public transpiration to return to the campsite
3. Even though the rooms are left on Saturday by students returning home, till Sunday 5 pm they were not cleaned and ready to welcome newcomers
4. There were no vegetables throughout the whole camp! Fruit were served only during one meal and the portions were limited (e.g. 2 slices of watermelon or of a pineapple). The food was in general of a low quality. No comparison to a healthy and balanced diet.
5. Everything what was discussed with an administration before the camp turned out not to be conveyed to the camp team, therefore there were multiple discussions onsite to adjust to previously taken agreements
6. There were initial language assessment tests at the beginning of the camp, but there was no checkpoint at the end, proving any progress.
7. General low room standards. Temperature in the top floor rooms exceeded 30 degrees day and night and there was 1 fan provided per room.
8. The crew of animators and teachers changed every week, so there was no continuity, creating often chaos and miscommunication.
I could list a few more examples, but in my opinion less important in the overall picture. I can definitely say one thing: my kids were already on language camps in Germany to learn German and from the moment of crossing the entrance door to the camp they represented 300% better quality as this camp. My kids wanted to return and were motivated to learn the language, which is the main point of a Lantus camp. This camp was hectic, unorganized, unplanned, immature. My kids don't want to ever go back. Seems like the organizers charge the money rather for the fact of being located in Antibes, not the education itself.
General impression: I don't recommend! My kids won't go there second time

Regarding the overall organization, we have noted your comments on room cleanliness upon arrival and the meals. We do our utmost to offer a varied and balanced diet, including vegetables and fruits at every meal, but we understand that your expectations may not have been fully met. We will continue to monitor and improve the quality of our catering services.
As for the supervision, while some animators may change due to the duration of their contracts, there is continuity in overall management thanks to our site coordinators, who are present throughout the camp. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels well supervised and supported during their stay, and we regret if this was not your impression.
Finally, we understand that certain aspects, such as the assessment of language progress, may not have fully satisfied you. We always provide certificates indicating the language level at the end of the stay, but we will take your feedback into account to enhance tracking and communication in this regard.
We regret that certain aspects of your stay led to dissatisfaction, and we will do everything we can to prevent such situations from occurring in the future. Your feedback helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust.

Good experience for the kids. Professional team on the ground. Food left to be desired. Uncomfortable disposable bedding. Need a go-to person in case of medical emergencies
The marketing team was very efficient and responsive during the enrolment. The team at the camp was working well and my daughter was happy with the overall experience. She made many friend and enjoyed her independence exploring Antibes and the neighbouring towns. I appreciate that the camp provided buses to drive kids into town, however children also opted for using the public transport.
The big drawback that will probably affect my decision for the next year is the FOOD. My daughter could hardly eat any of the offered meals and often had to buy snacks while in town. Apparently, her friends had the similar experience and all of them highlighted this in their feedback forms.
The second drawback while at the campus was the disposable bedding, which was very uncomfortable. I believe the kids also pointed this out in their feedback.
As to the academic experience, personally I think that three hours is not enough and that the standard should be 3 hours before lunch and 2 hours after.
My daughter had to go to the doctor at some point. I would have appreciated if there were a go-to person in medical emergencies, as I had to go through a marketing person to communicate with the team on the ground to arrange for a doctor visit.
