My son went for 3 weeks. The afternoon activities were awsome everyday/ everyweek it was something different and fun! He had a blast made new friends d and became more fluent in French.
He is determined to get good grades in school so he can go back next year!

Es war eine bereichernde und tolle Erfahrung! Die Residenz ist sehr schön und hat eine tolle Lage (der Platz in den Zimmern ist nicht besonders groß, aber er reicht aus, und man möchte die meiste Zeit sowieso woanders verbringen). In der Schule findet man sich gut zurecht, die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm, und die Lehrer sind mega nett und aufmerksam. Es ist nur etwas schade, dass die höheren Kurse manchmal nicht wirklich zustande kommen.
Beim Essen kann man auch nicht meckern, und wer will, kann sich auch schnell in der Stadt oder auf der Straße etwas anderes holen.
Die Aktivitäten sind abwechslungsreich, und genügend Freizeit hat man auch immer. Es entsteht ein tolles Miteinander, und vor allem die Animateure sind genial. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I have just returned from the over 50 programme . The accommodation was very student residence level, well worn and poorly appointed. The kitchen was not fully equipped and I had to stand on a chair to use the microwave. It was a good 35 walk from the school .There was a bus in the mornings only . We were given a sub standard breakfast and had to bring our own towels . So with students , from as far as USA. Brazil and Korea lugging towels ! Have to say my French classes were good but other classes had teachers who just handed out exercises and gave them loads of homework to do . Activities ( mainly site seeing but they change every week) were mixed and some quite physically demanding . The Food & Wine activities for that group were poor and not well organised.
The consensus of opinion was that we would have paid a bit more for better facilities. Also , the Welcome meeting and area Information was sadly lacking. We were handed a map and the local Spar shop was pointed out . Not even as much as a bottle of water in room and people were arriving late on the Sunday from all areas .
For me the people made it - great bunch of people .We also had a great young man looking after us!

Our daughters attended the CIA French language summer program, and while the language instruction itself was very good, the overall experience was significantly let down by the accommodation and activities programme.

Despite being marketed as a “first-class” experience with “luxury residences,” the accommodation provided during the first week was far below what was promised. The girls were placed in a basement-level room with poor ventilation, no proper daylight, and high humidity, which led to their clothes smelling of mildew. It took several days and persistent follow-up before any meaningful action was taken. Even then, only after one week were they moved to a more suitable room.

Adding to the disappointment, the counselors were largely unprofessional and untrained, often resorting to rude or dismissive behavior. Rather than fostering a supportive environment, they frequently raised their voices and seemed ill-equipped to manage teenagers respectfully. The atmosphere felt more chaotic than organized or welcoming.

While we appreciated the quality of the language courses and some of the lunch options, the activities programme felt underwhelming and poorly coordinated. It lacked the enriching, structured experience we expected based on the school’s promotional materials.

We raised these concerns with the school during and after the program. Unfortunately, the response was largely defensive, and no reimbursement was offered despite clear failures to deliver the advertised standard.

In summary: great teachers and language classes, but disappointing accommodation, lack of proper supervision, and poor value for the premium price.

My 16 year old son did the course in Antibes with this company. He had a great time and will to return for 2 weeks this summer . It was very well organized from the beginning to the end with picking up from Nice airport . He was very happy with the food and accommodation. Highly recommend.

We had an awful experience sending our 13yr old daughter to Nice last summer. No structured welcome - She was left to sit alone, no ‘buddy’ assigned to show her round etc, then given a bus pass and told to ‘explore’ until around 5pm when she would be given access to her room. She arrived there at 11am, and having only VERY basic knowledge of the language at the time and being away from alone for the first time, was understandably reluctant to seek help or talk to anyone. No nurturing environment - When she tried to initiate a conversation with some English speaking student, they were extremely rude to her, and she was left to cry alone and when I contacted the school for help I couldn’t get through on the emergency number due it only being available until 00:00 Friday and from 00:00 Monday. I mean, REALLY??! When they sent someone to check on her, they couldn’t speak adequate English and asked her Danish roommate to translate for them. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I went to pick her up 2 days later - after alot of resistance or help from the main office who took a ridiculously long time to get back to me - and found that she’d been left alone in Nice Airport before I reached her. The ‘animator’ couldn’t wait 10 minutes for me to disembark my flight to meet them in by check in desks. She was 13! Illegal to fly alone at that age from the UK and I was told students are left to go through departures alone… Not at 13 they’re not, because they have to have an adult with them! Excuse after excuse was given, but no responsibility taken. After 2 months, we finally managed to get a third of our (very large) payment refunded after being told that refunds are usually not given if we choose to ‘abandon’ the course. They abandoned my daughter! And more than once! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE WITHOUT CHECKING EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY

I spent 4 weeks at Centre International d’Antibes and had a really good time. The atmosphere was super friendly, and the classes were both fun and helpful. My teachers were great - a special shoutout to Giusy – very motivating, and all made learning French enjoyable.

I also met people from all over the world, which made the whole experience even better. My school was in a beautiful spot in Antibes near the port, not far from the beach, and the surroundings were just perfect.

I definitely feel more confident speaking French now. I’d totally recommend it to anyone who wants to learn French in a relaxed and beautiful environment! I am sure to come back next year and stay even longer.

I spent some time at the Centre International d'Antibes and overall had a very positive experience. The school is nestled in a vibrant area of charming Antibes, which adds to the appeal of studying here. Classes are led by experienced and passionate teachers, and the small group setup creates a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space for speaking practice and self-expression.

The student mix is mostly younger adults in their twenties, but there were also a few in their forties and beyond, which made for a dynamic and open environment.

One area for improvement would be the structure of the lessons. Over time, the classes felt a bit improvised—likely due to the weekly rotation of students coming and going. The textbook provided was helpful as a reference, but it wasn’t integrated into the curriculum in a consistent or structured way.

Still, if you're looking for a friendly, immersive, and flexible setting to improve your French, this is a solid choice.

I had a great time at Centre International d’Antibes last year - so I am looking forward to spend another week there this year. Antibes is a beautiful place, my classmates were great and the teacher of the Centre just amazing. I can honestly recommend it!

Fantastic experience with excellent teachers and excellent service.I was able to improve my vocabulary a lot.I love the french language.I discovered beautiful places in the city of Antibes.

My daughter attended the summer school of Centre International Antibes in 2024. It was valuable experience for her to improve her French and has unforgettable memories with foreign friends. I reccommended this program to all my friends.

Incredible school with systematic pedagogy and the warmest teachers! This is my second time coming. I went from an absolute beginner to being able to converse basically with people in restaurants, at wineries, on the plane, etc. I particularly enjoyed learning with Prof Mireille, who is intelligent, sympathetic, and meticulously caters to the needs of her students. Antibes is a beautiful city, and it is a great pleasure to learn in this environment.

During my stay I made so many new international friends, and improved my French skills. The location is beautiful, and the campus is great too. I really recommend CIA to anyone who's considering booking there a stay!

Fantastic French Language Experience in Antibes. The charming school had friendly and engaging professors. The class sizes for adults was small which made it very engaging. I was at the Chateau location, which is about 1 mile to the old village of Antibes. I attended as a beginner level and stayed for 4 weeks. I plan to return next year. The adult housing at the Aragon is wonderful!

Very bad experience e for my daughter is 12. First of all the communication while being there was bad. My daughter got ill and needed some medicines, due to bad communication ( administration is somewhere else than school) she only got them after 3 days. Lessons were less than expected and it was all a big disappointment.

If you're truly interested in learning French and still having an enjoyable environment in which to practice your language skills, I would strongly recommend the Centre International D'antibes. I have been going to the Centre International D'antibes each summer for several years. The teachers are very talented and you are placed with other students at your same level, despite your age. I typically have taken the Standard course, which goes from 9-12:30 each day. However, one also has the option to do a more intensive course with afternoon sessions. With the metro, you can easily visit Nice or Monte Carlo, or you can take a separate bike path along the coast to Nice and enjoy lunch at La Voglia (ask for Patrick, the waiter).

Nice has a major airport which makes travel from the US quite efficient. When my children were younger, I also had them take lessons in their junior program. They still have very fond memories of their time at the Centre International D'antibes.

It is without hesitation that I would give the Centre International D'antibes my highest recommendation. I've had such a great experience each year that I plan to attend courses this June. I look forward to seeing the professors who have taught me in the past. I cannot thank them enough for all they've done for me. To all the teachers that have spent time working with me on my language, I extend a very heartfelt "merci beaucoup"!
