Be very careful with this company, they are scammers, they sell you a class of train ticket and then tell you that there is none, when you accept the class change, they tell you that there is already another reservation with your same name, the question It's just that it took me a week to buy some simple tickets from Shaghai to Yiwu, and in the end I had to buy the tickets with another company, a scam website.

I booked a half day tour to visit the terracota army in xian but due to the corona virus the tour was cancelled. Over the last 6 months I have contacted Chinatour.net more than 100 times but they refuse to return my money. Do not book anything with this Scam company.

I BOUGHT TICKETS INSIDE CHINA AND BECAUSE OF THE CORONA VIRUS I ASKED ABOUT CONDITIONS OF CANCELING ( 2 MONTHES BEFORE).
THE QUICK ANSWER: WAS TICKETS STATUS - CANCELED
NO BODY ANSWER WHEN IS THE MONEY BACK?.

As with the others reviewers, pls stay away from these guys.
Ask before whether they are able to get the tickets. They said must wait for 30 days, then after that they said tickets not available...
Now all my scheduled are cock up...don't know what and how to arrange other transport....

It's a scam! I purchased 2 train tickets from Kunming to Lijiang since 1 Aug 2019. It's less than 30 days till the travel date but I still haven’t received my train tickets so I emailed them. They said the travel time I wanted was not available and they suggested a different timetable (also the way they replied is so unprofessional. No address of my name and their name, type "u" instead of "you") . So I replied and requested to book the time they suggested. But I heard no reply from them after. Instead of waiting around, I emailed them again and asked to cancel my purchase and gave me refund. I am entitled 100% refund. They never reply back and I never receive my money back.

Very bad experience! Booked a train ticket and was not confirmed fast and not responsive for any changes or cancellation! It simply charged you without purchasing the train ticket successfully. When request for refund, it takes months and wasting my money and time keep calling them for a refund! WILL NEVER EVER USE THEIR WEBSITE SERVICE! AVOID AT ALL!

THEY WEBSITE STATED THAT YOU CAN GET CERTAIN REFUND AMOUNT IF YOU CANCELLED A CONFIRMED TICKET, but admin fees will not refunded. When i called, they said no refund will given at all. I requested to cancelled 1 day in advance and end up they said cannot! Not keeping their word and worst service ever!
Another tickets was not booked successfully and they charged me! After 2 and half month, still not receiving the refund yet!

They are not supposed to charged you until successfully booked/purchased the tickets for us. But they did it another way!

WASTE MONEY! WASTE TIME! NOT WORTH AT ALL. NO RESPONSE AND SERVICE DAMN SLOW!

DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY - CHINATOURS.NET is not good.
What went well - we booked some flight tickets, an airport car pick up and one train trip and that went smooth.
Why NOT to use the agency:
July 18th we had booked a Deluxe car and guide to take us to Huashen Mountain to go trekking at the peaks and do the wooden plank - THE CAR NEVER SHOWED UP, WE WERE NOT INFORMED UPFRONT. After a long time we got in contact with the agency - a Mr Wang - he said he was sorry and could arrange the tour the next day and would give us 200 CNY for the missed trip! (Not impressed)
July 19th - The driver and car arrived at 7 AM - the guide joined later - she informed us then that we could not do the wooden plank as planned as there was 1-2 hours queue. Later - at the site - whilst we were in line for the ascent to the mountain she told us we would need to wait 2-3 hours to get up the mountain (cable car queue) - and it became clear to us that we could not do treeking at the peaks as planned as we would on be at the mountain 1-1.5 hours and wait in line 4-4,5 hours. So our request when we booked the tour was ignored, and we were told we were arrogant as we would not wait in line as the other people. But we would not mind - IF we knew the conditions before we booked the tour.
Waste of money and vacation time - and we have not received the 200 CNY yet.
AND my review that I was asked to make to the web site is NOT posted. Wonder why!

I have been using chinatour.net since 2008 and they have always provided me with excellent courteous service. Thank you chinatour.net.

No problem in booking trains and flights. Also ansewer my questions via email.
