Glad I can find anything I'm looking for in the store ,the customer service is horrible though....Checkers Monument krugersdorp has the worst service ,I joined the express line and only one till was working ....there were 6 tillers there talking and not helping customers, one till had no tiller cos they were all busy chatting ,we stood in the line for 15 minutes . This is not the first time such has happened before.

Went to Checkers Pine slopes, went to the hot food section, 4 of the staff chatting loud, ignored me, black lady came and got assistance, I had to raise my voice before assistance was given, till lady kept talking to her previous customers while attending to me - find the service has deteriorated, disappointed.

Can this app STOP buffering already !!!!!

Give us the old app back Checkers!!!!!

we don't need all these new trimmings on the new app we just want simpler ,better,faster everthing the old app gave us.

They still charge you delivery fee even if you immediately cancel the order, dont even let you know that you will still be charded when canceling

With this new app they ask me to ok a R99 a month deduction for delivery and savings! What the hell is this… So you need to pay to get savings ?

This is the second time in a week that you driver the exact same driver! does not deliver my items. He goes on canceling my item stating "customer was not available"

I was outside waiting for him and he stationed for 10 minutes at the same place!

Then you guy has the audacity to charge me a delivery fee! TWICE!
Now checkers Sixty60 is seeming to be a scam!

To whom it may concern

We went to your outdoor shop in Zeerust on The 5 October 2024 , a friend told us that they have a special on Kettle braai .
We came all the way from Botswana .

On arrival we looked at the Kettle braai on special for R2599.95

The lady showed us what is included . My husband told her that they must get it ready we just want to eat something at Spur .

After a while we went back , we took 25kg charcoal that was on special the Kettle braai and a few other things.

She put everything thru and the kettle braai was more than on the advert . She said they put the price on the wrong item .
Acording to me if thats the case then the store must give it to you at that price.!

She called the Manager , he was very Arogant with my Husband . He just said can't give him the Kettle braai at that price !

When we left the shop my husband phone your customer service spoke to several people , still no answer they only gave us a reference number!

A week later we had to go to Zeerust again . Phone client Service again and they said they still investigate ..

So we spoke to a Lawyer friend and he said we have a good case , you have to give it to us at the price it was advertise in the shop

Checkers Gardens teller overcharged me causing me to incur bank charges. A reference was sent to an old email address. Nothing done to address the issue of me losing trust in the tellers integrity and honesty. Still waiting

Complain about the Manager and staff at Checkers south Coast mall, KZN. Shelly beach
On 18 October 2024 at 10h20 we wanted to pay our groceries. For 20 minutes they were trying to scan the specials but due to the fact that it was not loaded on their system it was'nt able to assist. My husband ask to speak to the manager, he took he's time to eventually appear with a bad attitude as my husband started talking to him he immidiately said to my husband, ok bye and walked away. The staff started laughing and we were left there humiliated by everyone for what???? Because they are incompetent and want to make us look stupid. How unprofessional of the staff to treat their customers so rudely. This incident happened 3 weeks ago also and up to today they did not fix their computer problem. We are shopping there for the past 10 months and its really not a pleasure to do so. The staff is very unfriendly and they ask the same question 2 to 3 times over. Other customers were also irritated and frustrated, because we were at the till for over half an hour to settle the bill. This incident was the most horrible experience ever and it leaves us with a negative feeling towards your store. We dont even want to shop there anymore. The service is unprofessional and the staff are unfriendly and incompetent from the manager down. Disgusting

Checkers vanrieback Edenvale.Apperantly dropped my easypay sassa card in the store on one of the tills.The security on the day found it and recorded it in their books.It happened yesterday on the 5th of September.Today l went to enquire but miraculously it can't be found.Suspect fraudulent activities with the staff.l desperately want the card back

Checkers, Bryanpark, Bryanston lost control over their Checkers 60/60 staff.
It is a common sight to see 60/60 staff run around and ride on their shopping trolleys like children in the store. They bump into customers, push customers out of their way and are rude towards customers.
I reported incidents to in store management on 24 July 2024 and today 13 August 2024.

It's always very disappointing to order anything fresh from the app. You're guaranteed to always get stuff that's near expired. Especially bread and meat . And th fruit....you get the rejects ....the tiniest banana the green ones that everyone shoves to the side! Yet we pay for the service. Service used to be great but now it's either delayed or you get poor quality products or theyr out of stock! Very frustrating.

Trying to take money out of my account without any order and say it’s the wrong number and when I tried another it started questioning my tesco account

The 60 Sixty services definitely needs better management. I have had good experiences in the past however, on my last order. The meat items were missing. According to customer services all the items were meant to be in the 4 bags that were delivered.

I am appalled at the service I received from one of the cashiers at checker hyper in gateway (Umhlanga). I had purchased and had requested to receive atleast two R50 notes at the R200 bill I had received. I had to go to other tills to get change and the cashiers had not shown any consideration with making my experience easy. I have never seen such poor conderation for customer experience. I love shopping at Checkers but the service I received from gateway was just disgusting which is such a shame.

Checkers Umhlanga has the rudest manager I have ever spoken to!!

They messed up my order and the part they did get right was stale!

When I asked for a manager to call me to explain what happened, all I got was a rude lady asking me “What is it that you actually want?!”

I’m not sure if that is how you treat a customer but I didn’t want anything besides a proper explanation as to what had happened.

Checkers you should seriously train your managers to have manners and realise that if they mess up someone event by messing up the order… it isn’t the customers fault!

They do not know how to treat customers. Checkers employees do not know how to do their job. They were only trained to shout at customers.

Ridiculous you are always late and your name should def not have 60min in it as it is always way longer than that and the orders are sometimes wrong as well.

Really not good service, one order because you want your stuff delivered in an hour. It's been 1hour.15 15 min and they have not even started shopping for my stuff !!!

I have been a loyal checkers 60 customer since lockdown. I thought it was the most brilliant idea, and for the first few years i had no problems with my orders. Drivers were always professional kind, fruit and veg was fresh, products were not expired.
Now in 2024 i am finally writing a reveiw after receiving the 6th expired chicken. You may be wandering why I didn’t stop ordering chicken after the 5th rotten bird, the answer is because im stubborn and waiting for them to get it right and check their damn chickens, and also because i do not have the time to go to the shops myself, i pay 99 rand a month for free deliveries ( which might i add is a bit of a scam cause its free if you spend over R350). While the chicken has to be my biggest and most digusting vice- i can also say that its not often that my order arrives in perfect condition. Either the vegetables arw VISIBLY off- like smoosh and a goo in a packet, somethings missing or not at all what i ordered , or expired. What baffles me is WHY on earth do the shoppers not take a quick glance at what they are putting in the trolley, or check the expiration dates, or at least look to see if what they are packing is at normal or completely mooshed up. I understand it cant be the greatest job doing others peoples chores for them, but it is still the job and some, even the tinest bit of effort would go a long way. What i still love about checkers and is why i have given 3 stars instead of one - excellent customer service ( only on one occasion did i have an incredibly rude lady who refused to give me her reference number or remind me of her name at the end of the call) otherwise the staff have only been helpful and kind- even when my calls must be the last thing they want to answer. Highly commendable. I LOVE the app layout, its fun and easy to navigate, most of all i always have a laugh at some of the category names because they are brilliant, is definitely the best app in terms of layout out of all other delivery services.
Whats letting them down is the shoppers. And possibly the cooks because if i can smell the chicken from outside my door then you can definitely smell and see its bad before you shove it in the oven and cover it in lemon and herb. Its just wrong

Wooow this is becoming a norm. I ordered food via sixty60, and received a Danone expired 30 May 2024, last month I ordered wors for my mom and it was rotten. Hence I am saying it’s becoming a norm. I am disappointed 🤦🏽‍♀️😟
