We recently had a small issue with our new stove and through the dealer we were called by Charlton and Jenrick within 24 hours and appointment made within two days
The engineer Steve came to our home fixed the problem very quickly - Steve is a very friendly and professional engineer
The stove is fantastic and it’s great to see a company stand behind their products 100%

I purchased the Infinity 890hd fire 5 years ago and I am regretting the purchase.
After paying for regular services each year, the control board failed, and I was told that I would have to pay £192 for an engineer to visit. The failed part was replaced around 3 months ago, and the firelighting system is now playing up, and they want another £192 to send out their engineer.
Absolutely disgraceful situation.
If I had known then what I know now, I would never have bought it. Apparently they only have 2 engineers to cover the whole country.!!!!

I have been pleasantly surprised by the outcome of my angry outburst.
I was contacted by C&J, and have now had a visit from one their engineers, and the fire is now working correctly.
I can only say that I feel I owe them an apology, and a very big thank you.
It was due to a failed component, which has been replaced free of charge.
My sincere thanks.

The staff at the shop couldn't have been more helpful they showed the fire working and the various surrounds explained the heat output and efficiency.
The gas safe team installed the fire explained how to use and care for the appliance.
Cleaned up all the mess.

Fire great when remote actually works !!! Can't turn on had 2 replacement remotes now need another replacement remote !!! Ridiculous fire what you pay for then can't turn it on for cheep remote stay away

This is the second Paragon One fire we have had from C&J and although an external gas fitter was needed to fit the fire we like the design and looks. The Customer Service were very helpful and after a minor upgrade to the fire, engineer arrived on time was prompt and friendly and fitted the part cleanly and tidily.

Only installed today but I’m very happy with the quality of the fire.

Today I had a new Charlton and Jenrick Paragon gas fire fitted by Andrews Electrical of Keighley. Everything is fine, works really well and looks absolutely lovely. This fire comes very highly recommended, as does the gas fitter.

Great stove. Installation went smoothly.

We have a 7 year old stove that seems to have fallen apart and the company’s response (immediately) was that this was all our fault. So we either throw a £1800 stove in a skip or spend a minimum of £300 for someone to have a look at it before throwing it in a skip. Yes it’s corroded, but we live in a modern house not a damp Victorian one. If it can’t survive English winters it shouldn’t be sold. We’ve used woodburners for 25 years without a single problem.

Bought 2 Infinity 600 CF fires 2014.
Poor after service from shop. Intermittent problems securing engineers to service. (any reference to remote control fires, seems to frighten them off). Was beginning to think we were going to have to replace with alternative models.
Impressed with communication and service from C & J . Service arranged by Nathan who was really helpful and Claire (Accounts)
Steve (Engineer ) was brilliant. Professional,excellent communication,organisational and housekeeping skills. The service and safety checks were extremely comprehensive, and the most most thorough checks/services we have seen regarding these fires. The engineer was very knowledgeable, and I feel more reassured about the fires potential longevity. Faults/parts replaced at visit. I am so glad I contacted company directly. Really impressed with service. Thanks to Steve (Engineer), you would be an amazing asset to any team.

Lukasz and his partner were very polite, extremely tidy and helpful. We could not find any faults with there work and politeness. They seemed to go over and above what was required.
