Absolute rip off . Do not order anything from this dreadful company . Crap clothing , crap customer service and a crap choice by myself. How a company can say their address is in london but return your crap to China is beyond me . My mistake , so don't order anything from them .

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE - CHAPS OF LONDON IS CRAP, IT SHOULD SAY CHAPS OF CHINA. I fell for it and didn’t investigate trust pilot. As soon as I saw the items were coming from CHINA NOT LONDON I tried to cancel the order but you only have 15 minutes to do that. Items took ages to arrive and although I was in touch with their so called customer services, all I was offered was a voucher and discount off my next purchase, as if there would be another purchase. I went to the post office to return the trousers (I couldn’t return boxer shorts that wouldn’t have fitted my 14 year old son, let alone a grown adult, so I didn’t even try them on, but due to hygiene im unable to return. Anyway, the trousers (or shorts on me) would cost about £35 to return
I will try to contact the credit card company to see if they can help, but won’t buy online again

I’m not sure if Chaps of London have had there site cloned but it’s a cheap Chinese rip off ….very poor quality I ordered a tweed waist coat, it took about a month to arrive (not 5- 7 days as stated)
It didn’t fit extremely small and the material I’m not sure I think it’s Bri nylon or something similar but it’s definitely not tweed , trying to contact them is a waste of time…..I told them I want to return….they offer me a discount to keep it…..I explain it’s complete rubbish which doesn’t fit anyway….they offer more discounts.
So I went to the credit card company and told them..they are well aware of them and re credited my account…….Moral of the story always Trust Pilot first.🤷‍♂️

PLEASE IF ANYONE READS THIS; MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE TRADING STANDARDS VIA THE .GOV.UK WEBSITE... I BELIEVE THEIR RETURNS POLICY IS UNLAWFUL AND ON TOP OF THE POOR LOW QUALITY PRODUCTS THEY SIMPLY LIE ON THE WEBSITE ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THEY OFFER..

TRADING STANDARDS CAN CLOSE THEIR WEBSITE DOWN BUT NEED TO BE ENCOURAGED

I wish I could leave minus stars, the order took three weeks, it is the first time I have ordered without checking the reviews and what a lesson learned, I will never make that mistake again. They are nothing like I ordered the material is cheap and disgusting and there two small. I ordered two checked shirts for my husband, the material is this cheap strechy polyester with the check pattern printed on and they weren't cheap, I have emailed asking for a full refund and return address but I'm not going to hold my breath. I had already tried to cancel the order two days after placing it and got no where with that either I would warn even my worse enemy not to ordered from this place

They don’t even deserve one star! Do not buy from this company! I placed an order believing the office was in London and if I wasn’t happy I could get a full refund. The shoes eventually arrived from China and were such poor quality were already looking like they were falling apart. When I asked for a refund the option was to return them tracked delivery to China or to accept a 15% refund for the price I paid. After a lot of negation I finally got a 25% refund and the shoes will go in the bin. Do not waste your money!!!! Avoid!!!

They don’t even deserve one star! Absolutely shocking quality they should not be allowed to trade. When you request to send the item back it’s an address in China which costs more to ship to than the actual product. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I wish I’d read the reviews first.

I ordered some suits absolutely terrible I was embarrassed when I put them in charity clothes bin
I tried getting a refund from PayPal to no success
The postage alone to return the suits was £150 to china
Please shop else where and don’t get conned like I have
I’m now in the process of going through trading standards and looking at small claims
It’s not about the money anymore I just want the spread word

Total con, I ordered a pair of cord trousers that looked more like pyjama bottoms, absolutely awful company.
Got 25% of my money back as it was going to cost more to send them back to china.
They know exactly what there doing and should be shut down from uk websites.
Don’t waste your money it’s not worth it, even with the 1 positive review on here (probably posted by chaps of London)

First of all the quality of clothing is shocking , tried to get refunded but they will not ! Offering 75 % off next order ,or keep items and receive 15 % bk , all within 14 days of policy, please shop elsewhere , do not get scammed like we did , thanks ,lee

I had placed an order for a pair of loafers from Chaps of London before I read all the negative reviews on here. Having read these reviews I immediately regretted placing my order and was very much prepared to be disappointed and to have to write my purchase off.
However I am delighted to say that my shoes arrived today and appear to be exactly as I ordered. They did take 5 weeks to get here from London aca China. But the did send me a link that allowed me to track their journey. So overall a positive experience.

Again like everyone else. Weeks for item to arrive. When it did, this linen shirt is made of cotton and polyester. Found same picture elsewhere on internet with presumably same shirt for £7 instead of the £25 charged by Chaps. After a number of emails I am currently at an offer of 20% discount to keep it. I've offered to hand return to London office but they won't accept that. Want to return cheap tat but will probably cost too much to make it worthwhile. Just don't buy anything from them

The lumber jacket I bought from them was awful quality, not as described in their description, missing pockets and stitching that looked like child's work to mention some of the faults. When you complain and tell them you want to return the item, they say you must pay for a tracked return to China. I did not realise this when buying the item, as their address is in London and it stated free returns on their advert. It looks like pretty well everything they sell is made in China by unqualified people who act as tailors, so very cheap for Chaps to buy from. When you argue the facts the discount dance begins. If you keep the item saving the shipment fee they will give you a discount, first 15% then 20% and then the final offer is 25% which still leaves the price of what you bought very expensive for something barely fit for gardening or decorating in. Chaps of London's office address is a serviced office that they do not seem to occupy. They seem to have an office in France that they do occupy. Do not touch them

Poor quality , overpriced clothes, that take an age to be delivered.

Wish to Christ I’d read these reviews first before ordering, same as everyone else PLEASE PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!! Ordered some lovely looking 🤣 mules, cheap rubbish & badly crinkled can’t wear them. I was offered 5% refund but refused. I’m going through a dispute at the moment through PayPal not holding out much luck.

I wish I’d read reviews before ordering! thought I was buying a quality item from a UK company, but instead I was buying a cheap item from China!

I ordered a red ‘denim jacket’ made from ‘comfortable and breathable cotton fabric’. When it eventually arrived 2 weeks later, I received a cheap, 100% polyester shirt.

I contacted the company to request a refund as the item wasn’t as described. After numerous emails and lots of photos, they agreed to a refund but said that I was responsible for the return postage and it must be tracked as they wouldn’t cover items lost in the post.

I have told them I want a prepaid returns label or I will be claiming a chargeback through Section 75. I’m currently awaiting their reply!
