Castlegatelights Arvostelua 

I initially made an order for two wall lights on 10th September. I contacted Castlegate Lights on 9th October as I had not received my order to which I got a response to say there was a delay with stock and the new expected date was 18th November. This response was professional and apologised for the delay and inconvenience and I decided to continue to wait for the order.
However, it got to 4th December. Still no items received and no communication from Castlegate Lights so I contacted them to ask for a full refund.
The response was ‘Good morning

Your order has been cancelled and refunded

No apology or acknowledgment of how long I’d been waiting for the item.

On a positive note, the refund was issued the same day.

Very disappointed with that lack of communication and also not receiving the items after waiting almost 3 months.

I ordered 2000 blue and ice white LED Christmas lights on the Monday and they were dispatched the same day. The email stated that I should receive tracking information from the courier. When u didn’t receive anything by Thursday I contacted Castlegate. The lady I spoke to (sorry I have forgotten her name) was fantastic. She said she would contact the courier and then contact me back. Within 5 minutes I had a call back with information that the parcel had been delivered to my neighbour the day after dispatch. Excellent customer service and the lights look beautiful; can’t wait to get them on my tree.

Swift delivery of original order, had a problem with 1 item but answered email and dealt with it even swifter !!
Called to add extra lights and answered after 1 ring and arrived the next day. Better than amazon !!!

We are so pleased with the service from Castlegate, we have been looking at this particular ceiling light for ages, but have been put off by price. Not only were Castlegate much cheaper for the same lights, but they were very well packed and on our doorstep within three days from ordering.
Would thoroughly recommend this company!.

Ive placed. 2 separate orders for 3 products and there have been stock issues with every item (the quantities were low as I was looking for samples initially) . They have a good list of lights but my confidence level is now very low. I hope that can sort it out as it looked promising as a supplier. I have houses to finish so I can't work like this.

Order 302914 (WEB302914) placed 6th August. Website shows delivery in 14 days. Called company on 14th day after receiving no updates. I was told that I would have notification of the delivery date from the courier today, 22nd August. Of course I haven’t received anything. I’ve called the office several times today and no one has picked up. I’ve sent an email requesting date of delivery and if still not available instruction to cancel order. I have a feeling this is going to take up far more time and effort than if reasonably should. Lesson learned. Won’t order from here again.

Fabulous customer service. I bought a light and then changed my mind at the last minute. Sent a flurry of emails. They couldn't have been more helpful, the lady I spoke with was extremely helpful and nice. I would definitely order from this company again. My refund notification came through and the refund was deposited the next day. Excellent. Other companies could learn a thing or two from Castlegate Lighting.

I believe this is the same company as Lighting Direct. Bought a faulty light for £79.99 from Lighting Direct (Lyco). Had to return it eventhough they didn’t want it back because it was after 30 days. Complained through PayPal. Ordered the same light from Castlegate for £70.83 which was fine. Received a refund for £70.83 eventhough I’d sent the first light back to Lighting Direct for a £79.99 refund. All a bit odd.

All good. We ordered a few times from them and in a couple circumstances we were not happy with the quality of some items arrived damaged, however there was no fuss to collect them back and issue a refund so we are still satisfied.

2nd purchase from this company. Excellent quality, quickly and carefully dispatched and delivered. Thoroughly recommended.

Order placed on Wednesday, items detailed as ‘in stock’ and would be delivered within 1-2 working days. Delivery originally confirmed for Friday, yet didn’t arrive. Only 1 item turned up on the Saturday and still waiting on another 5 items. Had an electrician booked over the weekend to install the lights which I’m now going to have to rearrange. Not good service at all, if they cannot fulfill expected delivery dates they shouldn’t be advertising this on the website.
