Lack of communication after order placed. Long wait until goods sent out - I gather you had to wait for item to be delivered to you, but this was not related to me until I sent you an email about the delay

Very bad customer service and impossible to get hold of through the phone. Bought quite a few new lights from other companies and had very good experiences, this company however was a nightmare. First light sent out didn't work properly, couldn't get hold of them through the phone so sent email saying I was buying another one as couldn't get through to them on the phone but that that one was faulty. They ignored my email and sent another one out which I had to tell them to cancel. I also had to chase them for a refund for the faulty one sent back. My second purchase arrived with the glass cracked. Paid twice the electrician to fit it and the company didn't seem to realy care about all the inconvenience caused. Have ended up with a cracked £216 light which will not last as it is quite a deep crack. Was ignored multiple times through email and when they eventually answer their customer service is appalling.

A technical web glitch only allowed me to order one of the two lamps I wanted, but a very helpful customer services advisor sorted it over the phone.

I usually prefer dealing with real people if possible and I’m very pleased with both lamps when they arrived.

After plenty of research decided on Castlegate due to the reviews and the very competitive prices. Lights arrived after a couple of days and very well packaged. I had to email the customer service team and immediately got an acknowledgement. Within 3 days I received a replacement shade I needed with no fuss and even better, no charge. Highly recommend.

Returned my item which I paid £6 to return on top of the goods price. Was told I would get a refund in 10-14 days from when they got it back. It’s now been 21 days and no sign of a refund. Chased via email and was told they would check with the warehouse. Chased again and still nothing and no refund…

Great price compared to other websites, no problem delivery. All good but would prefer more detailed instruction manual (not sure if to attach bits for the chandelier before or after hanging.) Would recommend to friend :)

Extremely prompt delivery. Ordered the light in the evening and received next day. All in good order and very pleased.

STILL NOT RECEIVED! I paid 11 days ago and not heard a word since! Said they would deliver in 3 to 5 working days but I have not had them or heard from them. When I phoned they said they were waiting for stock so selling items they do not have. NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered two pendant lights for our newly installed island and wanted them before Christmas. Castlegate (online) were the only company I could see that had them in stock so I ordered them. I waited for several days and then called them. Was told they only had one in stock!! This was not shown online and I was not informed. I had to then wait until the end of January for the second one, so I didn't get it for Christmas afterall. I wouldn't have used Castlegate if I had known! The customer service is shocking. One of their agents (not Jayne) was so rude and abrupt I couldn't quite believe anyone could speak to a customer in that way. Lights are nice though.

Bought several lamps from this company.
When I needed customer support for something as simple as instructions of how to reach a bulb in order to change it, the support has been slow, ineffective and my issue remains. Very slow and poor customer support.

They were very good. I phoned as there was a problem with my address and they fixed the problem very promptly and the goods arrived as promised on time.

We had a considerable number of lights for our new build but after two years the brass was flacking off . Castlegate where excelelent and have replaced all lights without quible, I cannot fault them thanks
