Cold calling, uninvited
Have received numerous cold calls from this company completely uninvited, offering whiskey investments. I've no idea how they got my number. This is highly suspicious practice and not in keeping with rules of interacting with retail investors, stay well clear. Ask if they're FCA regulated.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and we apologise for any unwanted calls you have received from Cartwright Jenson Group.
We take concerns regarding unsolicited contact seriously. Your number has now been removed from our marketing database, and you should receive no further marketing calls from us.
We would also like to clarify the point regarding FCA regulation. The purchase and ownership of physical whisky casks is not, in itself, an FCA-regulated investment product. Cartwright Jenson Group is a whisky cask consultancy and does not claim to be FCA regulated or to provide FCA-regulated financial advice. We believe it is important that this distinction is made clear to prospective clients.
We would, however, respectfully disagree with the suggestion that our business is “highly suspicious”. Cartwright Jenson Group is an established business that has been trading for approximately 3.7 years, and we are proud to have been recognised by FDI Insider as Best Whisky Consultancy in London for two consecutive years.
Nevertheless, nobody should feel repeatedly contacted when they do not wish to be. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and have taken the appropriate action to ensure your details are removed from our calling database.
Kind regards,
Cartwright Jenson Group Ltd
A warm and knowledgable exploration of the whisky market
About a year ago I have started investing part of my portfolio into Whisky. The consultants at Cartwright Jenson have been excellent ever since. They have been welcoming and listen to your questions, are knowledgable about their trade and I have always been met with friendliness and warmth. I have spoken to multiple consultants between the periods and have always gotten a straight up answer. They will offer opportunities but you dont feel forced to invest on every opportunity. They take into account what you share about your current willingness to invest further or to keep the offers at bay for a while to make sure you have the space you need to feel comfortable with your investments. If there are small miscommunications, they get resolved quickly and without any pointing of fingers or bad feelings. To summarize, a great partner to have for your investments with a staff that is adaptable and friendly.

Thank you, Daniel, for bringing this to our attention — and we’re very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused you.
What you’ve described is not the experience we want anyone to have, and we sincerely apologise for the repeated calls. This is not in line with our standards, and we understand how concerning it must be to receive contact from changing numbers and not be provided with full company details.
We will ensure that your details are removed from our contact lists as a priority so you do not receive any further calls. We are also reviewing this internally to understand how this occurred and to prevent it from happening again.
Thank you again for your feedback, and please accept our apologies for the disruption caused.
