Fees to pay are outrageous!

The process is straight forward, but the increase in fees is ridiculous!! The service fee is $29.99, which no other entity charges that much. Then there is an added Convenience Fee for $6.99. What is this? Both a service fee AND a convenience fee?!?!? And on top of that there is a $2.99 fee for "Shipping" which must mean to send a first class envelope with the registration stickers. This is criminal.
I have had some sympathy for the DMV before but not any longer.

What an incredible ripoff

What an incredible ripoff! $3.00 for "shipping" a registration and stickers! $30 for this questionable service?! And a "Convenience Fee" on top of that? Talk about adding insult to injury!

How did this company manage to get a contract with the State DMV to take California drivers to the cleaners like this? The fee is 26%!

One word for this: OUTRAGEOUS!

This just saved me the several hours of time it would have taken to drive to the DMV, wait in those notorious long-lines and then drive home! I highly recommend this online payment option for those who wish to save time and money!
