Carpet Bright UK Arvostelua 

When I booked the appointment with Carpet Bright I made two things very clear:
1) I live in a third floor walk up, there is no lift, can they pipe their machines from the parking area through my kitchen into my living room. We looked at photos of my parking area, I was told this was no problem, that they had in fact conducted cleans on the 3rd floor of my building previously.
2) My sofa, a feather and foam mix, did not suffer aesthetic stains, it was horribly dusty from within the cushions where dust and dirt had become trapped. I needed a DEEP clean. I was told the appointment would be 1.5 hours (factoring in 15 mins on each side for set up and cleaning away), an hour on the cleaning itself. I was told their machines were 300 times more powerful than a Dyson hoover, that any trapped dust would caught.

What I instead had was 1) a cleaner who arrived an hour before the appointment time and who by the time I'd arrived (racing from work to be there 5 mins before the appointment time seemed keen to do the job and get home as fast as possible). We then had 15 mins of going up and down the stairs with him deciding he wouldn't leave his equipment in the parking area for safety concerns and either the appointment didn't go ahead or it would need to go up the stairs. The machine is about 70kg, he could not do this on his own and I couldn't take more time off work to do this another time. He called the office to explain the situation, the office told him they were happy for him to leave the equipment in the parking area, he refused. I then spoke to the team, I said if I am to help him carry the 70kg equipment up the stairs I expect a discount, they said nothing, at no point did they say this was not appropriate, that the appointment could not proceed, they took my money and were happy for me to do the heavy lifting. After another 15 minutes of set up the appointment finally began, the actual cleaning promptly finished 35 mins later. There was absolutely no deep cleaning element to this, it was all surface level, not even pushing the hoover down into the cushions to capture the deep dust. I immediately knew the dust was still settled in the cushions, I could see it in the air as I tapped the cushions. The cleaner said there was nothing more he could do. This went on for 10 mins and I said if you have nothing more you can do and you don't intend to do anything more the appointment appears finished. He packed up his equipment and left it in my communal hallway - leaving the equipment plugged in though in my flat with the door wide open to the world. He then left my hall, went out into the public stairwell, and took a 15 minute call with the office again. He no longer had any access to my flat or my hallway which requires you to be buzzed in, in leaving his equipment plugged in the only thing that would happen is someone would walk into my home and potentially take something - he had no access to his equipment or my home anymore (at his own choosing to leave the area).

AT NO POINT DID ANYONE EVER SAY THEY WOULD CONTINUE THE CLEAN.

I left it two days hoping oncc dry, the dust might somehow dissappear, it didn't. I emailed Carpet Bright and said I was unhappy a) with the result b) the time spent cleaning c) that no discount was offered having carried their equipment to my flat which d) was not what I agreed with them.

In response Carpet Bright claim I finished the appointment by unplugging their cleaner's machine - (a machine he had no access to anymore having left). They claim the cleaner offered on numerous occasions to continue the clean, this did not happen.

This people are great sales people and if you want a surface level clean only and live on the ground floor I'm sure their service is fine, however it was double the price of other local cleaners I reached out to but I went with them because they could clean from parking, had done so in the building before at 3rd floor, and had this "amazing equipment" which they would use for an hour to get all the dust.

The fact they have not even given a discount for carrying their 70kg equipment to my flat having raced home from work is absurd, miserly and what I expect of sales people not great cleaners which I believe these people are.

Just had visit from Jack to clean lounge carpet and suite. I was very impressed with the outcome and Jack was a good ambassador for the company being extremely polite/friendly and very professional - he is clearly knowledgeable and I won’t hesitate in using the company services again or recommending them to family & friends. Thank you Jack.

Jack arrived on time, he was very helpful also customer
focused.
After our lounge carpet had been cleaned , we were very pleased when Jack told us he was able to remove some stains . It all looked very good.

Needed a carpet clean for blood - company were very honest and said there was a 80% chance they could get it all out but could guarantee so we took the choice to try. Operative was a lovely gentleman arrived early but called to make sure that was okay, as it was a Friday afternoon was pleased for the early visit. He worked really hard and it smelt and looked so much better but when it dried there was still some staining albeit not as bad as it was. It was a shame but still really pleased with the service and how hard he tried. When I need anymore carpets just cleaning I would certainly use them again

Our 22 year old duresta settee has been brought back to life! Daniel did a fantastic job, he was very knowledgable, professional and we would highly recommend their services

Matt turned up promptly, did an excellent job on a bedroom carpet and an upholstered armchair

Mike came to clean the dining room and lounge, I was so embarrassed by the dirt he removed from our "clean" carpet I have booked for the remainder of the house to be done. as for Mike, prompt, personable, a quick worker and did an outstanding job, I am delighted.

Excellent job! He arrived bang on time, and cleaned the carpets very effectively. I saw how much dirt came out! It was well worth doing.

Mike was superb. He took so much care & the most important thing to me respected my home. He worked methodically & took so much pride in his work. The end result is my old carpet looks new again. So pleased. Thank you!

David has done a super job. He is delightful and I will surely ask him to help again should I need it

I contacted Carpet Bright on behalf of my elderly mother who wanted the lounge carpet cleaned. And the person I spoke to on the phone was helpful and so was the carpet cleaner who turned up. The carpet cleaner was friendly and he did a very good job cleaning the carpet. A professional service all around and the carpet looks much better now.

Alvin turned up on time ,talked through the job , done a great job .

A chap called Mike attended our address this morning, he was punctual, polite and professional. He cleansed our carpet to a high standard, he also gave us some Sage advice regarding any soiling to wool carpets (bottom line home carpet vacuums and chemicals are not up to the job of lifting stains and may lead to permanent staining of the carpet, every days a school day.
