Caribbean Flights Arvostelua 

Our family booked a charter flight with Caribbean Flights between St. Maarten and Saint Barth’s, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.
The booking service was very professional and responsive. The information provided was clear and precise, both when requesting a quote and during the confirmation and planning of the flight. Another big plus: their rate was significantly lower than the quotes we’d received from other companies. The fact that Caribbean Flights is based in the United States also put our minds at ease and saved us from having to send money internationally.
Upon our arrival at SXM, an agent was waiting for us even before we went through immigration. He collected our baggage tags and took care of everything: retrieving our suitcases from the carousel, transferring us to our private plane, and guiding us through the fast track. We hardly had to do a thing, and just a few minutes later, we were already on board!
The pilot was very professional and made sure to confirm with us that all our luggage was safely on the plane before takeoff. Once the checks were complete, we immediately took off for Saint Barth’s.
And what an arrival! The landing in Saint Barth’s is truly spectacular, especially with such a short runway. You quickly realize why there’s a baggage weight limit! Fortunately, Caribbean Flights had clearly informed us of this restriction when we booked, so there were no unpleasant surprises once we arrived.
In short, everything went perfectly: a simple booking process, very competitive rates, impeccable service in St. Maarten, and a completely hassle-free flight. We’ll definitely use Caribbean Flights again for our next trip to the Caribbean.
We also discovered that they offer flights to the Grenadines… which might just be our next destination!

These people are SO RUDE! Capt. Erik, the guy who emails you, is horrible and abusive. Take your money elsewhere

I booked a private charter with Caribbean-flights.com on-line in February 2026. In the process of attempting to get ready for the trip I needed to obtaining the necessary trip documentation, including an aircraft “tail number” for the private plane we would be on, from Caribbean-flights.com. This number was required for me to get an ETA (electronic travel authorization). I made many attempts to reach them at their NYC and St Barth numbers, and ultimately at their Delaware Headquarters, but got no response after leaving messages. There was never a person who answered, only a voicemail.

After this, I became concerned and started to research this company. There were negative social reviews which called them unprofessional, hostile, and unreliable. Given I could not even reach them for assistance, I decided it was better to cancel my reservation and I booked with someone else despite it being a much more expensive option.

When looking to book at charter, I found Caribbean Flights as an option. However, I decided not to book the charter due to some uncertainty in my travel. I replied back to the Caribbean Flights- Capt. "Erik" Besançon that I would pass on the service. Wow, his email exchange was very angry and disrespectful. And he continued to insult me. I would never look at this Charter service.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Caribbean Flights, particularly due to their shockingly rude and unprofessional customer service. When my inbound flight was delayed—something entirely out of my control—I reached out proactively to inform them and discuss adjusting my charter departure. Instead of responding professionally, I was met with an aggressive, condescending, and outright hostile email from their representative, Captain “Erik” Besançon.

His response included the following statements:
• “You started to show an attitude and aggressiveness, wrongly believing that the plane will sit on the ground all day waiting for you. You obviously don’t know how this works.”
• “You can be happy that we agreed to work on a different departure time, and you must know that this was made possible ONLY because I talked to [the airline] before you did.”
• “We could strictly apply the booking policy and decide that due to the delay, your charter flight is canceled. If you keep having an attitude about it, we will do it. It just takes one phone call to [the airline].”
• “Your threatening to go online will NOT save your trip. Be assured that we are open to legal action for defamation if you try to damage our reputation for the wrong reasons.”
• “We also have the right to remove you from the flight if you display any sort of disruptive behavior, including in writing. Disruptive passengers are reported to the FAA.”

This kind of language is completely unacceptable for any customer-facing business, let alone one that caters to high-end travelers. Instead of working with customers in good faith, they resort to intimidation, threats, and hostility.

For anyone considering using Caribbean Flights—stay far away. There are many other charter services that treat their customers with professionalism and respect.

Next time, I will just book directly with the airline (SXM Airways). They were fantastic by the way.
