I do like the Canny collar but my dog does easily get it off or it slides off his nose am I doing something wrong

The collar is not true to size
The collar is not true to size. It should be measured from the fix point of the buckle not the centre of the buckle. The size 5 (43 to 48) is actually (44.5 to 49.5). It is still workable but I would have been better off with a size 4. The collar also has no support for the tongue when it is buckled up at the smallest setting 43 (44.5), the tongue is to long, untidy and flaps around.

Outstanding customer service
Unbelievable customer service - above anything experienced particularly post COVID. Before I had even posted two collars back due to size/colour mismatch (my error), replacement items were being delivered to me at no cost.

Collar and lead in purple
I brought the collar and leash in purple.love the colour and the quality is very good.unfortunitly my dog chewed the nose piece of the collar,but makes a lovely collar just the same. Company very good to deal with and delivery was quick. Definitely use this company again.

Hello Chris, It's not unusual for a dog to object to the noseband. That is mainly because it stops the dog doing what it instinctively wants to do and what it has previously been able to do unhindered. Just like a horse has to be conditioned to a bridle a dog need to be conditioned to wearing a band around it's snout. It can take minutes but sometime hours to achieve this. The most important thing to achieve this is to loosen your lead, walk ahead of your dog, keep moving forward and lavishly praise your dog when it begins to follow you. Persistence will ensure that your dog will become accustomed to the new way of walking.

Canny collars are the only collars we will use! We have used them on a few different types of dogs, and they all responded well to them! Staffy, Labrador, Pointer, and Irish Wolfhound. The company is brilliant to deal with and the procedure for measuring is simple.

Easy to navigate
Easy to navigate. Prompt delivery. The only negative (for me) is the bulk of the collar. My puppy needs effective control without the bulk. Also it doesn’t stay up behind his ears. Maybe he’s too hairy?Product works as intended and I’m grateful for that.

The lead arrived very quickly
The lead arrived very quickly. It's very easy to put on my dog. The only issue I have is that the nose piece is a bit wider than I thought as I have tried a similar item and it was thiner

A great & very useful Canny Lead Connect.
We really liked the first canny lead connect which we’ve had for a few years but the foamy looking padding was breaking up. Got 2 new ones and was pleasantly surprised the padding is different, more like neoprene & not like our first leash. Padding might last longer than the original. We love that the lead gives us the ability to secure our dog to a pole etc if we ever have to.

Service was very good but the product is a bit of a pain. The yellow bit under the chin keeps becoming loose. It needs something to lock and unlock it in place. When it's loose the dogs keep getting it off their faces. It's a pain to keep stopping to put it back on their faces.
