I have three cannon safes. The lock failed on one of them. Took cannon just under a month to respond. Replaced the lock on my own and will not waste another penny on a company that uses faulty locks and doesn’t provide even basic customer support.

Do not buy a Cannon Safe as they advertise a lifetime warranty, yet they DO NOT honor the lifetime warranty and could care less based on our experience.
We bought a 64 gun Cannon safe model TS-5940 in 2019 which has a lifetime warranty. In Jan 2023 we had it open, but in locked position and could not unlock it. We tried several new batteries, yet the rude Cannon rep said to keep trying for a better dated battery and would do nothing else. We could only find 2027 dates in several different store, but finally found a Mar 2028 and it opened the safe.
April 13, 2023 it would not open, and Cannon sent new part but had to use their approved locksmith which cost US $508 to open and replace part. Come to find out it was a known problem that the locks failed and if the first rude Rep had given us the new part when the safe was locked in open position then we could have changed out the part and not have to pay $508.
Unbelievable but the lock failed again and even a 2029 battery would not open it. All Cannon would do is send another part and we had to use their locksmith again. Because of how the locksmith fixed the first drilled hold and the type of material used, it will be much more difficult to open, and the cost will be much higher than the $508 based on the conversation with the locksmith. He was very nice and gave a few suggestions to try, but it will have to be drilled out again. So, our plan is to cut it open and trash a very expensive safe it could fail again.
Do not buy Cannon as what good is a lifetime warranty if they do nothing to fix the problems and expect the consumer to pay a locksmith over and over for a known problem they have with the locks, yet they sent us the exact same lock and not even an updated one. Started Jan 2023 and ended Dec 2024 when Cannon refused to do anything

One quick response by phone from Cannon’s technician and with his instructions I was able to get my safe open and he explained how to prevent future problems.

Wow what a team at Cannon Safe. I had a mix up with my key and was unable to open my safe. Cannon Safe was able to replace it with minimal effort. Even though the safe was over ten years old!!! Thank you Cannon Safe! I was sweating bullets worried I was not able to get to my gun again.

I bought a used pickup and under the back seat was a gun vault safe. I had no way of opening it. Went on line contacted gun vault and was told how to get a key for the safe. It took a bit as I had inherited the safe with the truck, but Gerry and Victor were fantastic. When I got the key it still wouldn’t open, contacted Gerry again and he had the solution to the problem. Worked like a charm. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience.

I lost my key which I had kept for many years. I was instructed by Tony on the process to get a replacement key, which I was not too happy with but in hindsight protects all Cannon safe owners. Well the USPS managed to lose the package, I still do not have it! Gerry quickly and kindly issued another key and I did get this one. I am very satisfied.

Thanks so much to Toni! We bought our safe several years ago and the battery has gone dead. In our move we somehow lost the key. Toni was very helpful in walking me through the process to get a replacement key.

I submitted a request for assistance and got a response 17 days later asking for additional photos and a video of the issue. I replied the following day and it has been an additional 24 days with no response. Terrible.

Key pad gone bad 2 years old you call call them everyday no answer I will not ever buy nothing else from them

Toni Rodarte gave me exactly the information I needed about my safe and made it possible for me to have a copy of our chat exchange in order to save the information for reference. He was just wonderful!

I contacted GunVault regarding I had inadvertently locked my key inside the GunVault. I was contacted by customer service and they were very helpful in arranging for me to get another key.
Great follow-up and communications by the agent I was dealing with.

Once my request was received on my gun cabinet lock issue the process was seamless. All customer support was exceptional at addressing my concerns and resolved. I received my key within a reasonable time and best yet it worked.

Love Cannon Safe and the representatives! They've been so helpful and willing to take time to help me with a fix - by walking me through the process on the phone.
The keypad was no longer working and they quickly ordered me a new one. It took a week or so to arrive, and they also emailed me extra instructions and videos on how to switch it out. 🫣
That "fixing" part will come next.

If I get stuck, then I'll call Cannon again and I'm sure they'll get me going in the right direction.
This Cannon Gun Safe was an awesome investment.
