Metal part that the door attaches to has broken after less than a year. Phoned customer services and have been refused the new part because we’ve “had it too long”. Bought Nov 21st 2025. This goes against my statutory rights as a consumer.

Totally frustrated re spare parts and costs
About 18mths ago bought a Candy Fridge Freezer (model CBBMT 18EK). On two plastic drawer fronts the retaining lugs cracked and the fronts fell off. Tried to replace but our Model number wasn't recognised on any spares website - even Candy's own! Contacted Candy customer services. Call handler located the required parts on her computer - they were listed as Hoover parts - naturally. She could have the replacements despatched right away if we had an extended warranty, but we didn't. She was unable to take payment for the parts. We were put through to the Extended Warranties Dept and told a warranty would cost us £19.99 p.m (£240 pa) - fridge/freezer cost £370. I declined the warranty the operater supplied me two relevant part numbers. Two plastic drawer replacements would cost £114. Would have to buy the complete drawers as the fronts could not be bought separately, notwithstanding that they clearly clip onto the drawers, the user manual clearly shows them as separate parts with manual ref numbers. Also such drawer fronts are widely available to buy for virtually every other fridge freezer on the market including Candy - but not our model. Bottom line can't buy replacement drawer fronts - just the entire drawers for £114. After a 40minute call left feeling totally frustrated and an attempt rip off, would not buy another Candy product after this experience. Only giving one star for the decent, pleasant call handlers.

It’s so scary .i have a child under 5 ,she gets scared.i called customer service to report this issue.and was surprised that he said recall £80 and there’s a fault £160 which confused me..what’s the point of the warranty and extended warranty if its not in your favor .

I am very dissapointed with candy…
I am very dissapointed with candy washing machine customer services, I was supposed to have 1 door for my washing machine, that brooke instead og sending 1, they send 10, I have been calling every week for them to collect the remaining 9boxes which has been a problem, I am stuck with 9 washing machine doors and I have a toodler who can't play properly becuase its taking space, I had to put it in my front door which my housing association has told me to remove it. I tried to speak to them and the phone cut off half way ans now I don't know what to do

The AI that answers the phone is completely useless, just adds a pointless and frustrating delay as it doesn’t understand what you say to it. Going straight to a human would be much better as everything got done when I finally got through to someone

Pas de remboursement suite retour produit
Après une livraison d'un produit défectueux, l'article a été renvoyé dans les temps il y a plus d'un mois afin d'obtenir le remboursement. Depuis, aucune nouvelle du SAV malgré plusieurs formulaires complétés sur leur site (pas de possibilité de les joindre par téléphone).

Very disappointed
Very disappointed, received a new dryer 26/08/2026, tried to do a dry and within the first dry, received an e21 code, which is to do with a heating system fault or a temperature sensor issue. The dryer usually stops working or fails to produce warm air. Not been funny but how can this happen on the first day of purchase, surely they test the appliances after been made

My Candy Smart integral washing machine is such a disappointment.
My Candy Smart integral washing machine was purchased in 2023 , three years later it has stopped working. The whole circuit/display unit has to be replaced and after paying a call out fee was quoted £280 for repair. I have taken great care of my machine, using it only about twice a week, wiping the drum and seal after every wash and leaving door open to dry seal. what a waste of my time. in my opinion, Candy washing machines are definitely not worth the money. While I have enjoyed using this machine, which had all the programmes i wanted, after nearly 60 years of owning a washing machine, it is such a disappointment that this brand has such a short life span.

Brand-new products faulty from new.
Purchased a Candy CCT3L517EWK fridge freezer, arrived today :)
The door seals on both doors are messed up in the corners, one is folded over itself, and in the other corner, the metal door is dented inwards squishing and twisting the door seal :)
This isn't cosmetic damage, but speaking of cosmetic damage, there are paint chips on the front and the side :) nice.
But whatever, let's see if it works. After letting it stand for a few hours (as you should after moving any fridge/freezer) and plugging it in, I can hear the compressor run - great :)
So I come back two hours later - compressor still running - makes sense, has to cool the empty refrigerator down from room temperature.
So I open the fridge door to check the progress - room temperature :) okay
So I open the freezer door to check the progress.. room temperature.
So I put my hand everywhere on the back/side/top (where the coil might be that throws away heat) to feel if it's warm. No.
Brand-new fridge freezer, faulty seals, dented door from the factory, and it's completely broken :)
Very nice, good job you guys :) love you, oh also, you can have this back btw, oh also, you owe me compensation for the time wasted, I will be in touch.

Worst tumble dryer I've ever brought
I purchased a Candy GDL 8N1-80 Heat Pump Tumble Dryer and even with nothing but two bed sheets it takes over 5 hours to dry. Clothes come out damper than when they went in. I've had this dryer for less than year and i have had to another brand already, I would never buy this dryer again. It's by far the worst timble dryer I've ever brought.

Absolute waste of money..
Absolute waste of money... Washing machine developed a leak that we didn't know about (it must have been ongoing for weeks, if not months) and only found out after lifting the old flooring in the kitchen to put new flooring in. It had soaked through the laminate joint, underlay and base boards and if we hadn't changed flooring, could have been disastrous.
Explained this to the agent who said it's a week outside of warranty period so nothing they can do unless we pay £160 odd quid to have someone come out and repair it, or pay 20 quid a month for a fkn care plan that we are tied into for 12 months...
Explained the fact it has obviously been faulty well before the warranty period and they couldn't care less. Just wanted the money. Declined and will buy another brand washing machine going forward (along with all other appliances we had that were candy). Absolutely shocking experience.
EDIT: In response to your reply candy, I'm well aware of the repair option that are of ridiculous pricing. I clearly stated in my original review that I was aware of them and even outlined their costs... Which is stated I wouldn't be paying. Your response showed even further how little you care as you've clearly not bothered to even read my review 😂 then stated something I've already mentioned. Bravo and thank you for proving my point

All he was interested in ,was just trying to sell me upgrade warranty .
Then trying to say that if our fitter can find nothing wrong it's a £160 charge .you can all ready sence whats going to happen when repair man comes out .,but take out this policy and that's all covered .. I put the phone down in the end .
