A Great Robot

I picked the Cafelat Robot because I am totally blind and I wanted to have control of every aspect of making an espresso.

I am new to espresso, having preferred filter coffee, but I decided to buy an espresso lever machine to avoid menus and touch screens.

I have been using the Robot for about two weeks now to pull one shot of espresso every day with mixed results, but it has been exciting trying to find a consistent espresso.

I have enjoyed most of the espresso that I have made bar my first due to incorrect grinding.

Using the robot enables me to try a number of approaches to making an espresso and if some turn out to be over or under extracted, then it is entirely my fault. I can honestly say that having used the Cafalat Robot for a short time has been an enjoyable experience for me. I am someone who simply wishes to have a decent espresso without too much hassle and without falling into the coffee cauldron!

The Robot has given me that control and opportunity to make espresso which so far has appealed to both my partner and I.

Thanks to Paul Pratt for making this uncomplicated yet brilliantly engineered machine.

New group head gasket

New group head gasket works perfectly on my Sage Barista Express

Original one needed replacing and this one fits great and no more loosening of the portafilter when pulling a shot

Good customer service.

Very responsive to emails.
Got my order out fast.
My complete order was together and well packaged.
Tracking shipment can be a little dicey after third party handoff in the US, but my package did make it on time and in perfect condition.
Id trust to buy again.
