The coordination between BMO and the supplier was very very poor.
Even though my order was overdue BMO customer service couldn’t have cared less.

Terrible customer service! I moved house and accidentally entered the wrong shipping address. I emailed 3 times trying to get this changed before it was shipped and had no response. I then went onto the website as the order still hadn’t been sent and decided to cancel the order. However, I’m not sure if this has been processed as the order now says fulfilled. I haven’t received a refund though. I still haven’t received any communication!

Great stick blender from Dualit. Works well, feels solid. Should last a long time. Prompt delivery.

The classic woodworking proverb "measure twice, cut once" which emphasises extreme caution, patience, and precision, reminding us to triple-check our work before making an irreversible choice that wastes time or materials applies to my experience of Buy Me Once UK - If you know what you want then my advice is buy direct from the manufacturer and their preferred retailers, not from "a reseller" as I did in this instance. What I did not realise, because I failed to do my due diligence, is that Buy Me Once hold no stock and simply act as go-between (making their money by reselling though their website) a curated portfolio of selected 'last a lifetime' products. But here's what they don't tell you... As an online retailer they hold no stock and use the "Shop" app to handle the automated customer journey after taking your money. So despite their site promising "a 3-5 day standard delivery, 30-day returns." as an expectation of turn-around, I noted this sentence on an automated email acknowledgement (after placing my order) "We work with lots of wonderful independent makers, shipping times may vary and orders containing multiple items may arrive separately." As a customer of Buy Me Once I received one automated order acknowledgement then... NOTHING for 10 Days... I composed one email to the business founder, stating my customer expectations politely, then I received my second email stating the order was now (miraculously) on its way. The product did arrive (thankfully) that week, but there's a customer expectation balance to strike here and if 'good practice e-commerce' and 'good communication' and ' regular shipping updates' make you comfortable as a consumer then I suggest you don't go shopping at BuyMeOnce.com

Great product, quick delivery

I ordered a £95 toothbrush nearly 3 weeks ago. I have not received the order, I have had no correspondence from them and despite sending 3 emails, I have still heard nothing. I will be contacting my bank to request a Chargeback to my account. This was a birthday gift for my son and I am very disappointed by their service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. BUYMEONCE WILL BLOCK YOUR CONTACT IF YOU NEED REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY.

Buymeonce will advertise products as repairable or guarantee for life or X amount of years. This is meaningless. They seemingly do little to no due diligence on their supplier to see if repairs or warranty are actually respected. A search of reviews for their supplier AIAIAI makes this abundantly clear their customer service are near impossible to navigate.

When you have paid a premium for a product designed to last, but then need a repair under warranty (in my case in the first two years), Buymeonce will pass you onto the supplier and absolve all responsibility of their toxic brand and carrying false promises of repair.

When you try to contact Buymeonce further to explain you are being made to repeat the same processes of proving the product is faulty they will simply block your contact.

I contacted the CEO Tara who then simply ignored my email, seemingly happy to let rogue suppliers with seemingly little to no due diligence, steal their customers money.

Always gives useful, honest information and prompt service. Packaging is good. The one thing I don't understand is how the business works since they actively encourage you to buy less often!

An item (Dualit toaster) has still not been delivered even though it was shown as being in stock and my order was accepted.

The expected delivery time has come and gone with no indication of when the toaster will be sent.

Additionally a refund for a different cancelled order has still not been processed,

So far very disappointed. One star is generous. May review if the refund and new toaster are processed as promised.

Brilliant. I love this site, I have bought several things over the years. I trust them to do my research for me so I know what I’m getting will be great. This Suri toothbrush is excellent. Great design and great to use. Highly recommended!

Love buy me once - they have a great selection of high quality products that are reasonably priced and excellent value in the long run. Such a refreshing change from the mass produced, limited lifespan stuff that's widely available.

I found 2 items that I was interested in (a larger than standard bath sheet, and a deep double size fitted sheet). Ordering and payment was straightforward and the items arrived very soon after.
I wanted to buy good quality and I have been pleased to find both items meeting my expectations.

Problem free ordering and arrived in good time.

As you know the products are supposed to be very high quality - which is why they’re so expensive. I bought a very expensive chopping board and oven dish. The oven dish arrived scratched and the chopping board split through normal use after no time at all. When I complained I was told I would have to cover postage and that scratches on a supposedly new product is normal. 0/10

Obviously never using this company in future.
