Was speaking with rajveer at broker link for a quote and the best she said she could do was a very ridiculous amount with intact insurance and it didnt seem right so i called intact my self and the price reduced dramatically and after speaking with intact i had learned that rajveer had all my details in the system incorrect which i soelled out to rajveer multiple times and still learned she got them incorrect was a very frustrating experience.

Called to add 'retiree discount applied' to my wife's "primary" car as I noticed this on the vehicle that I am assigned as the primary driver. Phone agent didn't know what I was talking about, then had to wait 10-15 min. for him to bring up policy. He first said this discount is applied to the policy, not to a car/individual. Not a logical conclusion and he asked my wife's age. He said she is not eligible since she is not 65, then asked what year she retired. I told him that the Intact Insurance form should be more clear (e.g. "state 65+ retired discount applied"). Wasted almost 30 minutes of his/my time, but basically ignored my suggestion. Asked to speak to a supervisor/manager about my house insurance. Eventually came back saying no one available at this time, but manager will call me. NO ONE CALLED! Their service has fallen drastically in the last couple years.

I have just switch my car and house insurance over to intact after being with wedgewood for over 18 years .
brokerlink representative Debbie Gullage has been the most helpful and pleasant person to deal with she was so knowledgeable and friendly something we were lacking with wedgewood.
She worked her magic to get us the best price and saved us a lot of money.
My daughter and her common law husband also followed us to brokerlink and Debbie also did the same magic for them .
Your company is so lucky to have her on your team and I am just as lucky to have her in my corner has my broker.

Just spent over a week to get a quote on home insurance prior to my existing policy with Co-Operators auto renewal date. I was constanly misinformed, repeatedly asked specific questions only to be ignored, was told a 2% surcharge is applied to montly payments if one has an auto policy or 4% when none. I have 5 motorcycles insured via Brokerlink. Finally I get an answer regarding the surchrge and was told that there would be none. Yet the overall cost had gone up exactly by 4% compared to the official quote and in the end told at the last minute by an idiot called Praise Iwori
" Intact is requesting photos of the home for underwriting review. This is required because the home is currently unprotected and has a rebuild value exceeding $1,000,000. The photos are needed for the underwriters to complete their assessment and approve the policy.
Please note that the policy is set to be effective May 10, however it must receive underwriting approval beforehand and Intact is not open over the weekend.
The company may not be so bad but a clueless employee like Praise Iwori is not doing them any favors

I was dealing with Vishal at the Peterborough Ontario location and was treated promptly and with absolutely great service.
He did an above par service to get me the best savings for my car insurance and I highly recommend from my experience!

I have one vehicle with them wanted to see how they were before switching everything over. They just want to get you Signed up and you won't reach them again.i left messages- no response. Finally got through to someone and they were moderately helpful. Trying for two days to reach them again. I'll just find another broker.

I have had multiple problems with Brokerlink, it boils down to bad customer service, incompetence and a lack of willingness to correct the mistake. One of them is in October 2025 they said in a phone call (which they have listen to) that they were insuring my son and taking a car off my insurance, both of which they (in there words) "forgot" to do. I only found out 6 months later becuase my insurance was due up for renewal. When confronted about it they said it was a mistake but they would not take responsability for it or refund me for the amount I had to pay for the extra car for the duration of 6 months. I believe this is a grave mistake becuase my son has been driving around with no insurance at all for that period of time. STAY AWAY from Brokerlink!

I spoke with many advisors at Brokerlink and Desiree was the only one who went out of his way to help bring my insurance rate down considerably. He spent almost two hours on the phone with me trying to help me out and I could not thank him enough. Please give Desiree a raise and lots of vacation time, he deserves it :)

I don’t recommend this company to any one !! The customer serves it is so bad I have so many problems with their customer services specially with Toronto office and Kitchener office.I had ask for shopping lower insurance rates I guy from north bay he give me lower insurance rates and he say I can call in again soon I see the rates to my email . I call in and they start bouncing me around from city to city and they telling me the guy he give me the rates he will talk to me and I never got that phone call! I had some lady from Kitchener yawning to my ear non stop . And she say the guy from north bay will call you . This was a game and they don’t want to give me the lower rates insurance because they make more money with higher rates . I let this year go but next year I won’t go with this garbage customer service broker link.I don’t have any accidents or any tickets and my insurance.I was given code for my renting apartment 2 thousand dollars a year 😂😂can you imagine his garbage customer serves they have. I call my self the insurance company and they give me code $ 500 dollars not 2 thousand dollars. Place people don't get insurance from this company you will regret it. I start calling them for weeks to get that lower rates insurance and I never got that insurance! I ask from the company manager or who is the higher in the company to complain and I navel got that phone call! Go figure what garbage company it is!

Don't use this company I. I told them to cancel my insurance the day it come up . As was sell vechile was plan or if not I'd insure later . After a month intact say
I'd I owed them for no payment and sent a registered letter to pay 35 and 87 dollars for total 122 . Need less to say Brookline started bugging me for it . That's the only time they started calling . They did not do there job so intact is after money with them from me . There rates I found are high could be never get return emails or reach on phone . Really they should be shut down
