I have been with this company for multiple years and the first few years were great. However, lately the service has been abysmal and incredibly lacking to the point where I would say they have some of the worst customer service in the field. I have requested an official escalation due to the complete neglect of their client. I have been trying to resolve a simple situation since April 2026 and have yet to hear back from a supervisor. I just want to resolve this issue and go back to how it was, but sadly I don't see that as an option anymore as I'm giving up all hope someone from this company, including management will listen to me as I'm just a number to them. God i miss the old days where customer service meant something other than getting as many members as possible to help the top end numbers. pathetic...

avoid this brokerage at all cost and find save your sanity.

Waited until 9 days before our renewal date to give us any information regarding a new company for home insurance as they dropped Commonwell. 7 days after our renewal date and we JUST got the new insurance company information which meant extra money per month in payment because we have to pay in 10 month installments. They never ONCE contacted us about the switch or provided us with quotes to other companies. Happy that we've switched to another brokerage. Absolutely AWFUL

Wildly different quotes over the course of three days (depending who we were transferred to). Zero consistency across agents. Inefficient, poor problem solving. We learned more by doing our own research online. Very disappointing. Will be looking to move all insurance to company that does their own work -- having a third party involved makes it almost impossible from a client perspective.

If you're coming from QC to AB and trying to get insured with them please don't do that.
I spent almost 3 hrs on the phone to fill up everything and in the end they refused to recognize my insurance experience because in their opinion the report of GAA (groupe assurance automobiles) that I provided is not a solid proof of you didn't have any claims or history previously. Which is incorrect and in fact that's one of the strongest evidence that we had in QC.
Meanwhile they could've type GAA in google or ask their colleagues in QC and see what that is.

I was needing to get insurance for my car and utilized Broker link on a recommendation. The web page was easy to navigate and had multiple options very quickly. The real service began when I was connected to Cheryl B. She was great to work with, thorough and helped me through the process.

I had an M1 motorcycle license, went to a drive safe motorcycle course, made a mistake and thought I had a M2 licence as the M1 is only good for 90 days. My mistake, anyway, I go to re-new with Intact, Brookerlink, well they will not insure an M1 now. I have to go back and re-do the course and my insurance ran out today July 3, I thought July 3 is 24 hours, no, it ran out 12:01 July 3rd, and they said they would not renew it as it expired. What stupid logic. Well they have lost all of my business and I will write bad reviews for them and hope people do not go with this company.

Absolutely the wriest insurance company ever. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. nerver call re renewal, agents say they are no able to call want to charge when I cancel the policy they want to charge. ECONOMICAL should not use BROKERLINK agent I spoke to was Arpan Patel

My experience with BrokerLink changed significantly over time. During my tenure, my workload nearly tripled while compensation and support did not reflect the increased responsibilities. Overtime became a regular expectation, and the overall environment often felt underappreciative, toxic and reactive rather than supportive.

I support internal promotion and growth opportunities; however, in my experience, some management roles appeared to lack sufficient training and operational experience and knowledge, which contributed to communication breakdowns, inconsistent direction, and severe inefficiencies within the department.

My department fell under Finance, lacked structured onboarding and consistent operational processes. Concerns raised through leadership and HR channels did not lead to meaningful support or resolution.

There were also organizational and vendor-management practices that raised ethical concerns for me and contributed to a loss of confidence in leadership oversight and accountability.

For anyone considering employment with BrokerLink or considering selling their business to the organization, I would encourage careful consideration of the operational culture and support structure within certain departments.

Did not honour online quote. Quoted me $1678, but after two of us spent an hour on the phone, wanted to charge $3300. Total bullshit.

Absolutely the worst!! Alex Patrois at the Stittsville location sold us a farm policy with Trillium Mutual Insurance Company that “specializes” in farm insurance, for our little old property that use to be a farm 50 years ago, only to find out that the policy doesn’t cover anything Alex said was covered. A very painful thing to hear after we lost one of our outbuildings this week to arson. A farm policy for a farm property from a farm insurance company that doesn’t cover farms. You can’t make this stuff up!

I was looking at my homeowners policy and was wondering why certain coverages on our house were more than double the value of our dwelling. So I was in the Oroocto office and spoke with Ashley and she was most helpful and explained everything to me. Staff here are most helpful. Keep up the good work guys.

I have been a customer of BrokerLink for many years. In the past, they have been efficient, helpful and responsive. This seems to have changed drastically.

I have had a combination of auto, tenants and home insurance through BrokerLink, and as we are purchasing a new home I contacted them to purchase home insurance.

I filled out the form of all the information they requested, was eventually contated by Steffi who asked me all the questions a second time. Annoying, but OK. I was then told that I was too early and it wouldn't be useful to provide me with quotes yet. This was 6 weeks out, so alright, I'll be patient.
I requested that they quote combo plans with my auto insurance along with standalone insurance for the home.

When we were in the 30 day mark, I asked again and did receive a few quotes. Multiple phone calls, and emails - which I prefer because of the nature of my job, I am unable to be on the phone most of the time - and we decided on a company. Zero quotes with both auto and home, by the way....,

Then we hit a snag with that company, happens, that's OK. But in this situation, Steffi is supposed to be the professional and give their customer alternate options, no? I ended up calling a company directly and purchasing insurance. Took 10 minutes. I nearly couldn't close on my house today because the agent couldn't care less about their customers.

I will be leaving Broker Link. I was under the impression that we use brokers to do the annoying work for us - but they've provided nothing but extra stress. I'll just do it myself, somehow I'm better at it than they are.
