Failing service?
Reasonable back catalogue but impossible to watch on a TV. I contacted them saying watching in a browser is not good on a laptop for family viewing they said to watch in a browser! Awful response and not a good service. I will not be going past the free trial. Doomed to failure in my opinion.

What is the point of BRITBOX ?
What is the point of BRITBOX ?? Nothing really interesting what from I can see. Cannot find any app that will download onto my smart tv or box. ??? Netflix at the same price is far superior.
The BBC and ITV has not thought this one out ... nothing new there then

NO SUBTITLES
Not one single programme on Britbox has any subtitles. That means you pay £5.99 a month for no subtitles. I contacted Britbox about this and all you get is "we are meeting the OFCOM requirements for subtitles".
I checked on OFCOM website and from what I can understand Britbox only needs to have 10% of programmes with subtitles after 12 months. It even only needs 80% of programmes with subtitles after 9 years.
Its a con.
Its outrageous in this technological age that a company is allowed to sell TV that discriminates the deaf. I had to cancel the free offer of 30 days and the account due to no subtitles, and like millions of other people we cannot watch TV without subtitles. Stick with NETFLIX and put your money to better use.

Very poor introduction. Why? Because one is unable to view the Britbox library without signing up to a 'free' 30 day trial.
So tell me Britbox what are actually offering contentwise for £5.99 per month?
